In an instant, channels of energy surged into his body!
"There's no problem," said Jiang Ning.
He was being careful and didn't dare to be too hasty. Even though the water from this very pond had been able to help Peter Pan turn back the clock, Peter Pan was a highly skilled martial artist after all. He possessed a very powerful body which could withstand the regeneration effects of this water.
But the wolves and Fang Qiu were still young and were nowhere near Peter Pan's level.
He had to be careful.
After testing the water several times, Jiang Ning was sure that there was no issue with the water.
"I'll go first!"
Brother Gou was the first to strip himself and walk right into the pond. His only thought was that if the water was problematic and might get someone killed, then he was going to go first so that the rest wouldn't have to get hurt.
All of them were behaving the same way, fighting over who should go first.
Jiang Ning knew that they were fighting each other not for their own sake, but for the sake of others.
"Don't worry, it's perfectly fine, nobody's going to die," he laughed.
The moment Jiang Ning said that, everyone else calmed down.
"It's fine? Then I'm going to remove my socks. I wouldn't want the water in this pond to be polluted," said Number Six.
When they heard that Number Six hadn't removed his socks yet, the rest nearly jumped up in fright. There was nothing else more frightening in the world than Number Six's socks!
"Number Six, stop right there! We're all brothers!"
"Dude, can you wash your feet first?! Oh my god!"
"Big Boss, can you hold Number Six back?! Don't let him come in here! It's dangerous!"
Jiang Ning burst out laughing. In times of danger, having Number Six would ensure your safety. But in peace times, Number Six suddenly became the most dangerous person to have around. When these fellows teased each other, it was really fun to watch.Original content from .
Jiang Ning remained at one side to protect them. He watched as all of them got into the pond and had fun in the water. They didn't look like grown men, and behaved more like a bunch of teenagers. Fang Qiu had come running from a distance, jumped into the air and landed in the water butt first, causing water to splash everywhere.
"Shit! Fang Qiu, you're sitting on my head!" "Turn the boy over!"
"You want a fight?! Sure! Come at me, bro!"
All of them were making so much noise and having so much fun.
If Peter Pan were here, he would have stared at them in shock. He would never have dreamt that these men would dare to act so irreverently in such a holy place.
They were in the Longevity Pond!
They were within the Heavenly Palace!
One could probably hear their voices from miles away. They went ahead to laugh and curse at one another happily, as if they were just having fun in a private pool.
But after a while, their voices began to die down. Everyone sat inside the pond and felt their bodies suddenly grow very tired and heavy. They had trouble even keeping their eyelids open.
"What's wrong?" asked Jiang Ning.
"I'm so sleepy," replied Fang Qiu. "I can barely keep my eyes open. Master, I really
feel like sleeping."
It was a fatigue that he couldn't stop at all.
Unlike Peter Pan, who went through immense pain from drinking the water from the Longevity Pond as every cell in his body underwent a metamorphosis, these men were just soaking in the pond. Logically speaking, they should not go through anything much.
But now, they were all saying that they felt very sleepy, and Brother Gou had already fallen asleep before he could say anything. Jiang Ning rushed over and confirmed that Brother Gou was just sleeping. He began snoring, an indication that he was perfectly fine.
He checked each and every one of them to confirm that they were all just asleep.
Their snores came in waves, echoing inside the pond like a very terrible sounding symphony.
"The water in this pond is magical indeed, and it behaves differently depending on
the person."
For someone at Peter Pan's level to go through a transformation and renew his blood and internal
energies he had to suffer a great amount of pain. But this process seemed to be a lot gentler on the wolves. They just needed to take a nice nap.
Peter Pan would be so envious to hear about this.
