Chapter 2345 Trying to Tell Me Something

Fang Qiu had soaked in the pond for three days and three nights, and his skin was already white and peeling. How could it be completely useless?

Was it only good for making one fairer?

Jiang Ning didn't think so.

He let Fang Qiu rest by the side and slowly regain strength in his feet while waiting for the rest to wake up.

In no time, Number Six woke up. His body didn't go through any change at all either. Neither his strength, speed or agility had improved, and he had only gone through one dream.

This time, Jiang Ning reacted quickly and got Number Six to tell him what the dream was about immediately.

"The sky collapsed," said Number Six. "Water came flooding down from the sky and it was so scary. I just kept running and running, but I didn't make it. My legs felt like they were about to break, but I was still drowned by the water. I couldn't breathe

anymore, and then I woke up."

That was his dream. He had been dreaming about running away from a flood that came from the sky for three days and three nights.

But he still failed to escape it.

The next one to wake up was Number Five.

Just like the other two, his prowess was still the same, and he also had a dream.

Jiang Ning didn't even bother asking about any changes in his body condition and just asked him what dream he had.

Number Five blinked, then said, "I dreamt that there was a dragon, and some other strange wild beasts crawling on the ground. They even started fighting each other and it was really frightening! The mountains collapsed and the ground split open! Also, volcanoes erupted and so many people were crying. So many families suffered casualties."

As he spoke, he started getting emotional and his tears started flowing. "It was so awful. I wanted to save them, but then something suddenly slapped me in the face and I woke up." After him was Brother Gou, then Number Nine, followed by the rest.

All of them were in the same predicament. There was no improvement in skill and no change in their bodies. They had slept for three days and three nights, but all they did was dream. Jiang Ning asked every single person, and found that all their dreams were different in content.

But after listening to them recount their dreams, it sounded more like a TV drama. Their dreams slowly formed a complete story.

Jiang Ning already had an image in his mind. Even those who woke up earlier like Fang Qiu, were rather shocked by what they heard from the rest.

"They were at the foot of some mountain crying, right? They were crying for help or something, right?"

"Yes! Yes! It was a mountain and I think I heard someone say the name of the mountain. What was it again?"

"Mount Buzhou? That was the name, right?"

"Yes! You're right! Mount Buzhou!"

"The water from the sky became an ocean and drowned so many people. And that volcano..."

"That wasn't a volcano! Someone was spewing fire from his mouth and it burned everything!"

All of them chipped in with

everything they could remember from their dreams, then tried to piece all the scenes together. The scene they described really struck terror in their hearts.

It didn't sound like normal human civilization and certainly wasn't recent. It sounded like some barbaric sort of era, where everything was still very primitive and the place was seemingly vast and empty.

There were dragons, wild beasts and huge birds in the sky?

When everything was put together, it just sounded like a scene from prehistoric times.

But most importantly, all of this content had been revealed to them in a dream. What was going on?

Jiang Ning watched them try their best to put their dreams together in hope of getting more information.

He walked over to the Longevity Pond and looked at the bubbling water with a complicated look in his eyes.

"Are you trying to tell me something?"

He reached a hand into the pond. The cold water made his palm shiver, and a splash of water actually hit his palm, as if in response to his question.

Jiang Ning was stunned for a moment.

Had that been merely an illusion?

No. That was no illusion.

He looked at the water, then

scooped some out and lifted it to his eyes. "What are you trying to tell me? Is this something that happened in the past? Or in the future? O from a different time space?"
