"The city is called Nexar, one of the Free Cities of Arora. While other cities and counties are controlled by aristocratic families, Free Cities like Nexar govern themselves ,you can think of it like semi democracy. People vote of mayor every 6 years. It’s a place for everyone."

Nexar was divided into three distinct sections. Closest to the road lay the industrial zone, a sprawling landscape of factories and towers that reached skyward. The buildings there were tall, efficient, , built from dark metals. In the air you can smells the oil and smoke.

Beyond the industrial zone lay the main city, home to Nexar’s elite. Towering skyscrapers made of shimmering glass and sleek, reflective metals dominated the skyline. The buildings twisted and spiraled upward, some even floating in midair, connected by intricate bridges of light. Neon lights flickered in complex patterns, forming holographic billboards that danced in the air. Luxury airships and vehicles fly between the towers, reflecting the wealth of the city’s upper class.

In stark contrast was the slum ,a chaotic maze of cramped, ramshackle buildings cobbled together from scrap and discarded parts. The narrow streets bustled with activity, and the air hung heavy with a mix of desperation and defiance. Yet, despite its rough appearance, the slum was alive with energy, its inhabitants moving with determined resilience. Makeshift markets thrived, while drones hovered overhead, keeping a watchful eye.

Robin asked, "Can’t the family do something about the slums, i mean thy have enough wealth to improve their lifestyle.?"

Oliver shook his head. "The family doesn't meddle in the affairs of any world it controls. Their people, their rules. The estate remains here as a connection to our roots, like a family farmhouse. Most of the family descendent lives in our verious space station around the cosmos. Some owns city or even country"

He paused, then added, "We provide security and safety, they provide taxes and resources. It’s important to remember that we're like god to them so we don't answer every prayer, or people will think the family is a pushover."

Robin sighed, feeling the weight of Oliver’s words. Leaning forward, he gazed out at the outskirts of the city. "Is this really the same place? It feels like different worlds," he murmured.

"As i said nexar is a free city. Its also called the city of hope. Merchant came here to sell goods, common folk come here to with a big dream. The city is big as a country if you combine all 3 section.

In the heart of Nexar, the Central Nexus Hub is a vast, technologically advanced tower that serves as the administrative and operational center of the city. It’s like a town hall .its also head office of security.

Then there is The Biotech Institute,This state-of-the-art research facility is where groundbreaking work in medical technology and biological advancements occurs. The institute is known for its ability to grow organs, cure previously terminal diseases, and even enhance the human body. The Institute's towering glass walls reflect the advanced nature of its research, with bio-domes attached for environmental studies.its also responsible for creating bio engineered soldier.

Also there is Teleport Portals which boasts a network of interlinked transport portals that make long distance travel instantaneous. Citizens can step into one portal and reappear in any other city state or country. These portals are powered by an energy core located deep beneath the city.it's the facility where you were teleported when you came here.

There is also Hope’s Sanctuary, it is a massive medical and recovery center built into the cliffs overlooking Nexar. It specializes in both physical and mental rehabilitation.

In the corner there is Equinox Arena This massive arena is Nexar’s hub for entertainment and sports. The arena has the ability to change its interior structure to host everything from sports to concerts and theatrical performances. It’s a place where citizens come to unwind and celebrate.

There is also the grand archive

A monumental archive and library, The Vault of Knowledge houses vast amounts of information gathered from across the galaxy. With AI librarians and holographic displays, anyone can access historical records, scientific data, or cultural information.

In the heart of city is The Beacon of Unity.Located at the highest point of the city, this monumental tower acts as a symbol of hope and freedom for all. At night, the Beacon emits a radiant light that can be seen for miles. It also functions as a communication tower, broadcasting signals across the galaxy and maintaining Nexar’s connection with other free cities.

There is also the central academy of sciences, technology and magic. Which is one of the top 5 academy in the world. Students from all around the world come here. Even it takes students from other planets.

And last but not least the underground lab to research aether. Most common people don't know anything about it's existence.

There are also verious shopping malls, hotels , restaurant,some park as you expect of a city. small and big business booming all throughout the city.

Because the family estate was nearby and nearly no threats from anywhere the city prospered a lot. "

Robin noted all theses information in his head.

"so where are we going" robin asked as he looks outside the car an soak in all the information.

"I've got an appointment with your grandfather's elder brother liam William who is dean of the academy and owner of the underground lab."

" We'll head to the underground lab. We need to do a check up for you."
