The night was lively and full of laughter. After a delightful dinner and a warm conversation, Robin and Oliver bid farewell to the elderly couple. Stepping out into the hallway, they couldn't help but notice a scene unfolding near the reception area.
Andrew, stubborn as always, sat there, completely unaware that he had become the center of attention. A group of young women from the staff nearby, stealing glances and giggling amongst themselves, each vying for a chance to strike up a conversation. Yet, Andrew, stubborn and single-minded in his duties, seemed completely unfazed. If it was any other guy the outcome would've been different.
As Robin and Oliver approached the main hall, Robin couldn't suppress a smile. "Andrew, have you eaten yet?" he asked.
Andrew, as always, straightened up and replied, "No, sir. I’ve been guarding the building."
Robin chuckled and glanced around the building. "This is one of the most secure places in the entire city. You really didn’t need to stand watch all night."
With a knowing smile, Robin gestured to Oliver, who handed over a neatly wrapped parcel. "Even though you missed dinner, old man Liam got you get something. He sent over some of his dried fruit and a special drink for you."
Andrew took the parcel with a rare look of gratitude, his usual stern expression softening for a moment. "Thank you, sir," he said, holding the package carefully.
Robin clapped him on the shoulder. "Enjoy it, Andrew. Let's depart Oliver."
Oliver nodded and the trio left the the skyscraper and headed to the estate.
The city is bustling with life even at night. The vehicle hovered over the city street to residential area, they crossed all those fancy villa to forest and finally reached the estate. Bidding them goodbye robin went on to get a good night sleep.
Next morning robin wake up as usual. Hearing Oliver's suggestion robin decided to go shopping and see the City.
Robin stepped out of the sleek, hovering vehicle with, Oliver, and Andrew followed behind. He is now on one of the most advanced cities in Arora. The air buzzed with energy as towering skyscrapers, lined with holographic displays, stretched into the sky, creating a vibrant mesh of light and technology. The city's architecture seemed to defy gravity itself, with buildings twisting, floating, and intertwining in a dance of impossible geometry. Even the walkways glowed faintly beneath the trio's feet, guiding them towards their destination—a colossal shopping district renowned for its high-rise malls and luxurious boutiques.
They walked into the heart of the city where most of the luxurious shopping malls are located.
Robin's first stop was a massive multi-level mall that seemed to pulse with life. The mall's exterior shimmered as if the entire structure was made of shifting stardust, and it hosted a large crowd. Although most of them are from the city's upper class.
Each level of the mall was designated for different goods—from clothing to tech and even magical equipment, shopping seeling guns and weapons openly. Many agencies trying to recruite talents and various businesses are handling free stuff for promotion.
Accompanied by Oliver his butler, and Andrew guard the trio look like some idol group. Although robin wasn't as good looking as both of them but after enhancement he looks more mature than both of them. Robin took his time exploring. Oliver, sharp-eyed as always, directed Robin to a high-end boutique known for crafting custom-made clothing from fabrics that adjusted to the wearer's body and environment.
Robin picked out an array of stylish outfits that matched him. As the tailor’s assistants measured him, Oliver kept a quiet vigil, ensuring that everything was to Robin’s exact specifications. Andrew as always, silently scanned the surroundings.
Once Robin had secured new attire for himself, he turned his attention to the staff back at his mansion. Despite his always lazily sleeping and eating in his mansion , Robin hadn’t forgotten the importance of showing appreciation. He and Oliver strolled through a section of the mall that specialized in exotic, hand-crafted souvenirs. With Oliver's suggestion Robin meticulously selected gifts for each staff of his household. From glowing stones imbued with calming energy to miniature levitating sculptures, every piece was unique, chosen with care to bring a bit of .

But the highlight of the day came when Oliver said there was high level auction going on. These auctions were not a rare occasion in the city. Being a free city various items flow through the city but they are reserved for only the elite of the elite. And with Robin’s being William, can participate with any reservations. he was granted VIP access without question.
The auction house was situated atop one of the tallest buildings in the city, giving Robin and his entourage a breathtaking view of Nexar's sprawling skyline. The building itself was like a glass castle , with glass walls that seemed to disappear into the sky, making it feel as though they were walking among the stars. As they entered, they were ushered into a luxurious private seating area, draped in silks and illuminated by ethereal lights.
The room was filled with the wealthiest and most powerful figures from across the city and even some from other countries. Many wore opulent robes, and some shimmered with magical auras, while others sat surrounded by an entourage of bodyguards and advisors. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and anticipation.
Robin slowed his emblem to a Clark. After seeing the emblem, Clark became nervous and told them to just wait for a second and calld his manager to take care of Robin's cohort.
The manager was a short looking guy.
"Welcome to our humble establishment sir" the manager said with a smile.
"Thank you" robin replied.
"If anything catches the master's eyes you can just call me we'll deliver it to you , if you don't want to participate "the manager said nervously.
" Thank you. But I don't have anything in my mind but if anything catches my eyes i will buy it fairly " robin answered with a smile.
" Well then sir, let me show you your room. Please follow me.? The manager said.
The trio followed the manager to a luxurious room.
"If you need anything don't forget to call me. This lowly servant is always ready for your service." The manager said with a smile.
Robin nodded and the manager left the room. Robin could understand the weight of the family emblem that's why Oliver said don't show this casually.
The auction place looks more like vintage theater. The room is vast, with tiered seating to provide a clear view of the stage for every attendee. The lower level is designated for common seating, where rows of chairs are arranged in a semi-circle around the stage, creating an arena-like atmosphere. In front of each seat, a floating holographic screen displays the current item’s details, including its name, origin, and key features. This technology allows each bidder to inspect the items closely, with rotating 3D images, history, and specifications easily accessible also it helps the participate to bid secretly without others knowing.
Above the common seating area, a series of glass-enclosed VIP rooms are located on the upper level. These rooms offer privacy to high-status guests, with soundproof walls, luxurious seating, and personal service. From their elevated vantage point, VIP guests can look down on the stage and common seating. Each VIP room has a clear view of the auction stage below, as well as its own holographic screens that provide an even more detailed analysis of the items up for bid. Robin was sited in a room straight from the main stage.
At the center of the room, the auction stage is illuminated with soft lights. It is a large platform where each item is displayed, sometimes hovering on anti-gravity platforms or encased in protective energy fields for more precious objects. A host stands in front, announcing each item and opening the bidding. The atmosphere is lively, with the sound of auctioneers and the soft hum of holographic displays filling the air.
As the auction began, items were paraded before the crowd, each more remarkable than the last. First, there was an ancient relic from a forgotten civilization—a crystal that supposedly contained the essence of a dying star. Then, a tome bound in the hide of a mythical beast, inscribed with spells so ancient that only a few scholars in the universe could understand them.
One by one, items from all corners of the universe were presented. Potions capable of granting immortality for a day, enchanted armor forged in the heart of a black hole, and talismans that could summon storms with a whisper—all of these and more were up for grabs.
Robin watched with quiet intrigue, his reddish-brown eyes scanning the room, noting the eagerness of the bidders. Some of the most powerful beings in the city fought tooth and nail for the rare items. Yet, despite the immense allure and value of these magical objects, Robin remained composed, bidding on nothing. Oliver and Andrew exchanged glances but said nothing. They knew Robin's demeanor well enough to understand he wasn’t here for the thrill of acquiring powerful trinkets.
For Robin, this experience was for the future currently he doesn't know what future is awaiting for him. He'll decide in the future what to buy. With the family's influence it won't be hard. Robin realized his newfound power is changing his character. In earth he was never like this. He made a promise to himself not to sway away with this family influence and he concentrated on the auction.
As each artifact was presented, Robin couldn’t help but feel how backyard earth was.
As the final item a mythical sword capable of cleaving through dimensions was sold to a cloaked figure, Robin stood, quietly excusing himself from the event. Oliver and Andrew followed without question, leaving behind the riches and the chaos of the auction. The night had been enlightening, a glimpse into a world that Robin could easily partake in, yet one he chose to step back from. He didn’t need to prove his status through material means his presence alone commanded respect.
Once back at their car, Robin took a deep breath, letting the cool, night air of Nexar fill his lungs. The shopping bags, filled with gifts and new clothes, sat neatly in the back. Andrew powered up the vehicle, and Oliver, with his usual composed demeanor, asked, "Will we be heading back to the mansion now, sir?"
Robin gave a slight nod, his thoughts already drifting to the responsibilities that came with his power . Despite the allure of Nexar’s wonders, his mind was clear. The true power wasn’t in the magical artifacts or potions, but in understanding when and how to wield the influence that came with being a William.
As they sped off, the glittering skyline of Nexar began to fade behind them, but Robin knew this wouldn’t be his last visit to the auction hall. He had glimpsed the universe's possibilities, but his path was uncertain. It required understanding, restraint, and vision.
