As robin entered the luxurious apartment he was amazed by its simple beauty. Because it is located in the topmost floor of the skyscraper it provides a great view of the whole city.
Robin could see cars and drones are flying around but the thing surprised him the most is the bustling sound of the city is gone now replaced with calming sound of music.
The interior design was minimalist but gorgeous. White Stone floor ,smooth walls and shiny metal framework created a bright, clean and spacious look.
The furniture appeared to float, crafted from lightweight alloys and wrapped in soft, metallic fabrics. A long, low sofa stretched across the center of the living area, facing a transparent wall that revealed the stunning vista outside. Each piece of furniture was both a work of art and a functional, high-tech tables that displayed holograms at a touch, chairs that adjusted to the occupant’s preferences in real-time.
In the center of the room, an open atrium housed a small, indoor garden, its plants carefully selected from various alien worlds. Softly glowing flowers in shades of deep purple and electric blue thrived in transparent planters, adding a touch of organic life to the otherwise modern space.
Despite its luxurious feel, the penthouse exuded a sense of calm simplicity.
Another thing that surprised him the most was there were no maid or servant. It was surprising to see rich people live simply.
Liam lead them to the dining area.
There was a woman who looks like in her fifties cooking in the kitchen attached to dining room.
Liam chuckled warmly, "Ah, Mary, let me introduce you to the newest addition to our family tree, Robin William my brother's one and only grandchildren"
Mary smiled, her eyes twinkling with warmth as she extended her hand. "So you're the young man he talked about! Welcome, Robin. It's a pleasure to finally meet you."
Robin, feeling the genuine warmth in her words, responded with smile. "The pleasure is all mine, Madame. Good evening."
Mary shook her head, laughing softly. "Oh, no need for the 'Madame,' dear. We’re family, after all. Just call me Mary."

"Family or not, I’ve been taught to respect my elders," Robin said, a playful glint in his eyes.
Liam burst into laughter. "Now that’s a gentleman !"
As Robin laughed along, Oliver stepped forward and bowed slightly. "Good evening, Lady Mary. It’s been quite a while."
Mary’s eyes widened in recognition. "Oliver! Look at you! All grown up and officially a butler at the main house. I remember when you were still under the liam, running errands all over the place."
Oliver smiled humbly, his voice low. "Fate, I suppose, Lady Mary. It’s good to see you again."
Robin glanced curiously at Oliver. "Wait, you know her ?"
Oliver nodded. "I met Lady Mary a few times during my collage years. She would come along withprofessor’s when I was in the academy."
Before Robin could ask more, Mary clapped her hands gently. "Alright, alright, enough reminiscing. The food’s getting cold, and I won’t have any complaints about a cold dinner at my table!"
They all laughed, and as Robin, Liam, and Mary took their seats, Oliver instinctively stood off to the side. Robin glanced at him and gestured for him to sit.
"Oliver, sit with us. We’re family here, right?" Robin said with a grin.
Oliver hesitated, but before he could respond, Mary waved her hand. "Yes, yes! Sit with us, Oliver. This is not some stiff, formal event. You’re part of the family too."
Reluctantly, Oliver took his seat, feeling slightly out of place but grateful. The lively chatter around the table filled the room as they passed around dishes.
Mary said, "I've heard about your family situation from Liam. I'm truly sorry for your loss. Losing your entire family at such a young age it must be hard."
Robin gave a small nod. "It's alright."
"I don't want to bring up your trauma, but just remember, you're part of the William family," Mary continued. "We’re a huge family. Outsiders may see us as a mysterious and vold, but to us, it’s the warmest place in the entire cosmos. We’ve got your back. You can meet all othe members on new years eve party on main family villa. You'll get invitation, just make sure to free up your schedules for that time "
Robin smiled softly. "Thanks for your kindness. And I'll be more than happy to meet other members"
"By the way," Mary leaned in with curiosity, "when you mentioned your family you always talk about your mother and grandparents, but didn’t say anything about your father. If you don't mind, would you share?"
Robin shifted in his seat, his tone growing heavy. "It’s not that I don’t want to talk about him, I don't know much about him. he was never really part of my life. My father he’s a strange guy. Why my mother married him is still a mystery to me. I only saw him on birthdays and Christmas, and after my mom passed, I never heard from him. Didn’t try to, either."
A brief silence hung in the air, before Liam sighed and put a hand on Robin's shoulder. "I’m sorry, kid. But you’re here now, and we’re here for you."
Mary smiled sympathetically. "Yeah, my kids are the same , always off on different planets. Never make time to visit this two old people." She rolled her eyes playfully. "At least two of my grandkids live with us. They couldn't attend this dinner because,They’re in the academy, busy preparing for the festival. I’ll introduce you later. You’ll love them."
Liam, sensing the mood needed lightening, grinned and reached for the wine bottle Robin had brought. "Alright, enough with the heavy stuff. We’re not here for a mourn our past, we’re here for dinner! Let’s celebrate."
With a flourish, he opened the bottle, and laughter rippled through the room as everyone raised their glasses. “To Robin!”
They toasted with a lively clink, the sound echoing with warmth, as the conversation flowed into lighter topics, filled with smiles and stories that made the room feel a little brighter.
Liam cracked jokes about his adventures in his younger days and Oliver academy days, Mary shared stories about her travels, and Robin found himself laughing more than he had in a long time.
