Preparing for the family gathering

Preparing for the family gathering

Robin was becoming increasingly focused on preparing for the new year's family gathering, knowing that it would be his first real interaction with many of the William family members. His days were filled with studying etiquette, memorizing the names and ranks of important enders, and understanding the subtle traditions that carried within his family. Oliver was there to guide him through this process, offering advice on how to present himself as an important member of the family.

As the day of the gathering coming near, Oliver approached Robin with some crucial suggestions. "Master Robin, a family gathering of this magnitude requires more than just proper etiquettes. Your attire will speak volumes, as will the gift you present. I recommend having a tailored suit made by a famous designer from the city, one that reflects your status."

Robin, taking the advice to heart, agreed that a new suit was essential. He pictured something sharp, modern, but with subtle for a formal meeting perhaps incorporating some traditional design elements. "Let's do it today ," Robin responded thoughtfully.

But Oliver wasn't finished. "There’s also the matter of a gift. It’s customary to bring something unique to a gathering of this level, especially when you're reintroducing yourself to the family. The gift should be more than just a token; it should be a symbol of your status and your position. It needs to be something that stands out, something that makes people remember you in a positive way."

Robin knew that choosing the right gift could set the tone for how his relatives would perceive him.

"What do you think, Oliver?" Robin asked, seeking further guidance.

"I would suggest we should give a visit to the auction house owner. " Oliver replied. "Sometimes you need to use your status to get the things you need."

Robin nodded, appreciating Oliver's foresight.

With the gathering fast approaching, Robin could feel the anticipation building. The moment would be his to seize, and he was determined to leave a lasting impression.

After finishing lunch, Robin, accompanied by his butler Oliver and the stoic guard Andrew, made his way to the city. The streets bustled with activity, as always, with hovercrafts zipping through the skies and people crowding the sidewalks. The destination for the day was a renowned fashion brand’s main shop one that catered to the elite.

Oliver already made an appointment with the store owner. Even city elites had to book appointments in advance but for Robin it was an instant response from them.

Robin thought using family status to get everything is more than a cheat . He read novels about protagonists with cheats that gave them power but for him the cheat is money and family status.

As they stepped into a towering building in the shopping district which was head to tor was covered with advertisements for the fashion brand. Robin took a deep breath. He had been preparing for this family gathering meticulously, and his appearance would be as crucial as his etiquette. The moment he entered the building, the reaction was instant. The owner of the store, a slender man dressed in black suite, nearly sprinted over.

The other thing surprised robin was the mall was basically empty only employee's was there which shows the families influenced in nexar.

"Master William! What an honor!" the owner greeted, bowing slightly before Robin. "We were expecting a visit from you today. How can we assist you?"

Robin returned the gesture with a polite nod. "I need something for an important family gathering. A tailored suit that reflects my status."

The owner smiled broadly, clearly eager to impress. "Of course, of course. We've gatherd our top designers. Please, make yourself comfortable. This will only take a moment."

Within minutes, the store's top designers, dressed impeccably and carrying a range of high-end fabrics and samples, arrived. They quickly sized Robin up, their trained eyes evaluating every detail.

One of the lead designers, a sharp-eyed woman in her forties, stepped forward with a confident smile. "Master William, we’ve selected a few options that will suit your figure .We’re thinking of something bold but classic. A blue suit perhaps? It symbolizes power and tranquility like a mighty ocean. And, of course, we can incorporate rare gems as accents."

Robin listened, taking it all in. "A blue suit sounds good," he said thoughtfully. "But nothing too extravagant. It needs to strike the balance between modern and traditional something fit for a formal gathering."

"Understood," the designer replied with a nod, her team already bustling around, selecting fabrics that shimmered subtly under the store's lighting. "We’ve got the perfect fabric, deep navy with just a touch of sheen. And for the jewelry, how about these?" She gestured toward a display where a series of rare, glimmering gems were laid out. Robin nodded Oliver to choose some for him as he didn't know anything about gems.

Without a word Oliver started choosing gems and talked about them with the fashion designer.

Robin examined the pieces given to him by Oliver and gave a slight nod of approval. "That works."

Another designer chimed in, holding up a small, intricate brooch. "This brooch would be a perfect accent. It's a new brooch we have . The stone in the brooch we don't know the exact origin of but our experts deemed the gemstone on the brooch to be as old as our world, the stone was polished by our top craftsman to fit in the brooch. something that reflects both the past and present. It will complement the gems beautifully."

Oliver, standing nearby, gave a slight nod of approval. "That would be perfect, Master Robin. The brooch will add a touch of elegance without being overbearing."

Robin was content with the selections so far. But then, another suggestion came from the lead designer. "To truly complete the ensemble, Master William, I’d suggest a cape. It adds an air of grandeur and prestige, especially for a formal family gathering of this scale."

Robin’s brow furrowed slightly. "A cape?" He wasn’t entirely convinced. "Isn’t that a bit… much?"

Oliver stepped forward, his voice calm and reassuring. "It’s traditional in many high-status families, especially for events like this. It conveys a sense of legacy, like the old family heads used to wear. Combined with the modern suit, it’ll balance well."

The designers nodded in agreement, echoing Oliver’s sentiment. "We understand your hesitation, Master William," the lead designer said, "but trust us. The cape will not only enhance your appearance but also symbolize your rightful place among the family."

Robin looked from the cape to Oliver, and after a moment of contemplation, he sighed lightly. "Fine. But nothing too long or overly dramatic. Keep it tidy."

The designers smiled in unison, clearly thrilled with his decision. "Of course, Master William," the lead designer assured him. "It will be tailored to perfection."

As they finalized the details, Robin stepped back, watching the designers work with precision and care. The suit, the gems, the brooch, and now the cape it was all coming together.

"You’ve made the right decision, Master Robin," Oliver said quietly, standing by his side. "This gathering will be important, and with this attire, you'll make a strong statement before you even say a word."

Robin gave a small, appreciative smile. "I hope so, Oliver. I’ll need every edge I can get."

With his outfit now planned and his mind set, Robin felt one step closer to being ready for the gathering.

As Robin continued discussing various this with the shop owner, time seemed to pass quickly. The designers and tailors worked diligently, and soon enough, the owner said with a satisfied smile. "Master William," he said, bowing slightly, "your suit is ready. Please, try it on."

Robin nodded, and with the help of the shop’s skilled employees, he slipped into the blue suit. It felt luxurious, perfectly fitted to his frame, not too tight nor too loose. As he adjusted the jacket and glanced into the large mirror before him, he was momentarily taken aback. The suit was exactly what he had envisioned neither too eye catching nor too bland, not too modern nor too vintage. The gems shimmered subtly, catching the light just enough to add a touch of refinement without being ostentatious. The brooch added a vintage flair, and the cape, though initially a point of hesitation, rested gracefully on his shoulders, adding a dignified air.

Robin turned slightly, examining the suit from all angles. "It’s perfect," he muttered to himself, almost in disbelief. He could feel the weight of the craftsmanship, the attention to detail, and the thoughtfulness that had gone into creating it.

If it was earth this would be the talk of the whole world in a matter of minutes.

He never dreamed of wearing this type's of clothes in his life. After his enhancement he kinda look like a model right now. Although for this worlds standard he was just above average, even his butter and guard are more handsome than him. He threw away all these useless though out of the window.

The shop owner, clearly proud of the work his team had done, smiled brightly. "I’m glad to hear it suits you, Master William. It’s an honor to have crafted something for someone important from the William family. This ensemble will surely leave a lasting impression at your family gathering."

Oliver, who had been standing off to the side, gave a nod of approval. "Master Robin, it looks exceptional on you. This will certainly mark your presence in the best way possible."

Robin adjusted the collar one more time, feeling more confident in his appearance. "You’ve done well," he said, turning to the owner. "Thank you. This is exactly what I needed."

"Anytime, Master William," the owner responded with a gracious bow. "It was a pleasure to serve you. I’ll have everything packed and sent to your mansion by the end of the day."

With that, Robin gave one last glance in the mirror. His preparations were falling into place. Now, only the final pieces remained before he was ready to make his mark at the family gathering. The next task: finding the perfect gift.
