With a heavy sense of the moment, Robin sat down. This dinner wasn't just dinner; it was an audience with the most powerful person in the William family. Maybe one of his relative who can tell him more about his grandfather.
Robin nervously waited for the head of the family. A variety of dishes were spread across the table, and though he was hungry he could start eating right now, But he knew he was better than that. Basic table manners had been drilled into him from a young age, so he waited patiently.
After a few tense minutes, a woman who appeared to be in her late forties entered the dining room. She wore an elegant black dress, the hem of her cape trailing gracefully along the floor. Her aura was imposing , almost intimidating, and she was flanked by a maid and a butler who followed her with quiet deference.
She glanced at him before taking a seat at the head of the table. "So, you’re Leo's descendant."
Robin was taken aback. He had never known his grandfather’s full name—he had always been just William to everyone, even in official documents. But he could connect the two dots.
"Yes," he replied.
The woman sighed, her expression hardening. "So, my good-for-nothing brother got stuck in the Dead Zone."
Dead Zone? Robin’s mind raced, but he didn’t dare ask what she meant. The oppressive aura she exuded made it difficult to even look at her, let alone form a question. Instead, he remained silent as she gestured toward the food, signaling him to begin eating.

Robin sampled some of the dishes; they were undoubtedly delicious, but he couldn’t bring himself to enjoy them under her watchful gaze. The tension in the room was at pinnacle.
"So, kid is he alive, or is he dead?" she asked abruptly.
"He died a few years ago," Robin replied, forcing the words out.
"I’m not surprised," she said with a bitter tone. "The Dead Zone is usually used as a prison for the most dangerous criminals in the cosmos. Never could've guessed he was stucked there How many children did he have?"
"Just one," Robin answered, his voice quiet. "My mother."
For the first time, a flicker of happiness crossed her face. "Where is she?"
"She passed away a few years ago due to a virus outbreak," Robin said, his tone laced with sorrow.
The woman’s brief smile vanished, replaced by a cold look. "So, one of our heirs died in a Dead Zone, and who would have thought my own brother was stuck there, starting a family in a third-class civilization."
Robin gathered what little courage he had left and opened his mouth to ask the questions swirling in his mind, all these word these are new to him, but the words wouldn’t come. The woman’s mood had darkened, and he feared pushing her further.
"Let the past be gone," she said after a moment of silence. "You’re here now, maybe it's fate who knows!!, so I’ll assign a guard and a servant to you. You can stay in the mansion, or go out and explore , visit the city or attend banquet or parties young people seem to enjoy that sort of thing nowadays. You you were ted bit younger you could've enlightened in academy but you're old, ill assign some tutor for you because you lack common knowledge.just enjoy your day here, as your are my brothers grandchildren so you are also my blood. Whatever you don't don't take the name of William lightly and don't do anything that put a bad name for the family "
" Got it and thank you" robin replied like a obedient child.
"Enjoy your meal," she added curtly before rising from the table and leaving the room, barely touching her food. The maid and butler followed her quietly.
When she left robin felt like a weight from him was gone. She made the room's atmosphere so heavy it was hard for robin to breath.
Now Robin was in dilemma. The food was good but host just left he couldn't just sit here and eat by himself. That would be pathetic even for his standard.
He put down his cutleries and told the servant to follow him to his room.
When he entered the luxurious bedroom he told he servant to bring him some food and alcohol. The servant left for a while before returning with a plate with some stakes and a bottle of wine.
Ah that's it. The food is best enjoy when you are all by yourself and nobody gazing like a lion at you.
He slowly enjoy his food and kept all the worries for future. That's the moto he made after quitting his job.
