After finishing his breakfast, Robin decided to visit the city. He dressed in his newly tailored black suit, which fit him perfectly, giving him the appearance of a proper aristocrat. As he adjusted his cuffs and put the family amulet in his pocket, he felt a mix of anticipation and unease about venturing into the city for the first time since his arrival in this new world.
Oliver approached him with a composed demeanor. “The family head has assigned a guard for your protection,” Oliver explained. “Before heading out to the city, we’ll first make a quick visit to the barracks to select your guard. All the candidates are top-notch soldiers from the family’s military .”
Robin nodded, following Oliver as they navigated the sprawling estate. They walked through beautiful gardens, passed grand marble statues of past family heads, and finally reached the barracks located at the far corner of the estate. The building was imposing, made of sturdy stone with high walls and watchtowers at each corner. Banners bearing the family crest fluttered in the breeze, adding a sense of authority and tradition to the surroundings. The atmosphere was charged with the disciplined energy of soldiers going about their duties—some were training in the courtyard, practicing combat drills with precision, while others attended to their equipment, polishing armor and maintaining weaponry.
There were some garages filled with military cars and some wearhouse. After asking Oliver what's in them he got the answer. These wearhouse store war machine akin to large robot.
“The house has four main military wings, and some minor ones.” Oliver began as they walked. “The Imperial Unit serves on the frontlines in deep space, facing the most dangerous enemies and environments. The Golden Eagle Unit consists of elite pilots and operators of war machines; they’re the aerial and mechanized strength of the family. They also work with imperial unit to tidy up space. The Dawn Star Unit acts as our intelligence division; they’re like the spies from your world, gathering information and conducting covert operations. Lastly, there’s the White Dragon Unit—they’re similar to your world’s police force, maintaining law and order within our territories. Each unit has its own hierarchy and specialized roles, and today, we’ll meet one of the captain from the White Dragon Unit, who is responsible for the estate’s security.”
As they entered the barracks, Robin noticed the functional yet organized setup. Rows of bunks lined the walls, each with personal belongings neatly stored. A large training area occupied the center, with sparring rings and weapon racks. They proceeded to the captain’s office, a room with walls adorned with maps, tactical charts, and a large family crest behind the captain’s desk.
The captain of the White Dragon Unit was an imposing figure, built like a bear with broad shoulders and a commanding presence. His uniform was adorned with various medals, indicating years of dedicated service. He stood as Oliver introduced him, his sharp eyes assessing Robin.

“Captain Roderick, this is master Robin,” Oliver introduced. “He’ll be needing a personal guard , i think deputy butler already informed you that.”
Captain Roderick nodded, his voice gruff but respectful. “Pleasure to meet you, sir,” he said, shaking Robin’s hand with a firm grip. “I’ve selected five of my best for you to choose from. Each has their own strengths, so I’ll leave it to you to decide who suits your needs best.” He handed Robin a set of five files, each bearing a name and detailed profiles.
Robin opened the first file and read aloud. “Sergeant Elena Marlow. Skilled in close-quarters combat and personal security. She served on the Imperial Unit’s frontlines for five years before transferring to the White Dragons. Notable for her strategic thinking and quick reflexes.”
Captain Roderick added, “Elena’s excellent in tight situations and is highly adaptable. She’s seen it all on the battlefield and in the estates’ more complex missions.”
The second file introduced “Lieutenant Gregory Pierce. A former Golden Eagle pilot, Gregory specializes in defensive tactics and tech integration. He’s known for his calm demeanor under pressure and his ability to handle high-tech weaponry and surveillance systems.”
“He’ll be your go-to if you’re expecting high-risk scenarios involving tech threats or need quick evacuation,” Roderick noted.
Robin moved on to the third file. “Corporal Hana Voss. Part of the Dawn Star Unit before joining the White Dragons. Her background is intelligence and counter-intelligence, with a keen eye for spotting threats before they manifest. She’s discreet, analytical, and rarely misses a detail.”
Roderick nodded approvingly. “If you need someone who can think three steps ahead of the enemy, Hana is your best choice.”
The fourth file belonged to “Sergeant Marcus Valen. Specializes in heavy weaponry and tactical support. Marcus has a background with the Imperial Unit’s heavy assault teams. He’s reliable in intense combat situations and is known for his unwavering loyalty and strength.”
“Marcus is like a walking fortress,” Roderick remarked. “He’s the kind you want on your side when things get rough.”
Finally, Robin read the fifth profile. “srg. Andrew lee. Used to be in the Frontline of imperial unit. Almost got promoted to a captain in imperial unit. But was transferred here because he takes everything literally. the higher ups are fedup with his antics. He is the strongest off all the candidate. He might be on per with me”
"Although he is a pain to deal with even for me but he is strong and loyal. He'll protect you even if he die"
Robin considered the profiles carefully, weighing the skills and qualities of each candidate. Each one had something unique to offer, and the choice wasn’t easy. “Thank you, Captain Roderick. I’ll need a moment to decide.”
“Take your time,” Roderick replied. “Each of these soldiers has been vetted and trained to the highest standards. You’ll be in good hands no matter whom you choose.”
As Robin mulled over the files, he felt a sense of dialam. Who to choose.
After thinking for a while he said to captain Roderick " i think ill go with Andrew lee!"
Both captain and Oliver was confused.
"May i know the reason?" Roderick asked .
Robin replied " i plan on visiting around the world. For any trouble i need strength to came out alive. He looks young and still have potential to grow .
And if you're concern about intelligence well Oliver can fill that space"
Oliver was delighted but still asked"I'm happy that sir thinks so highly of me. But you should think again."
Robin said with a smile "well i already made a decision.lets roll with it. Well see what happened in future "
Roderick smiled loudly "Thanks for taking him away. I was kidding. He was a prime strength of our unit, if that fella caus any trouble you can give him back to me. Ill send him message , he'll be at mansions gate waiting for you."
"Also carry some protective gear from armory. And you can visit here anytime you like."
"I'll visit soon" robin said as he walked out of the room Oliver followed him behind.
