Yonia was a world that Maya found utterly disgusting. It was a world that had some RPG elements inside but was actually integrated lazily with some a flag system that allowed people to conquer their targets and unlock sex with one another.
It was a world that had been designed as an RPG but was actually an eroge. Maya didn’t dislike eroge. She just hated this Frankenstein world. There were too many bugs that affected the people living here, and she was sure the server was a few generations old and being held together by tape.
Then, there was another thing she did not like about the world.
Ingrid was here. When she spotted Maya walking towards her, she held up a hand to greet her.
“Yo, this is what I’m having trouble with.” She pointed to the barrier.
From a glance, the barrier was put well together. It had three layers. Each layer weaved in different ways that made it hard to decode. Maya tapped it, and her hand was immediately repulsed.
The first layer had repulsion, the second layer absorbed the shockwave, and the third layer converted the energy to sustain all three barriers. She had to give Yome props, it was a well put barrier.
She could see why Ingrid would have trouble destroying it, despite being the witch with the most physical strength. She had once watched Ingrid tear a dragon with her bare hands, and that was despite the fact that she had magical restraints that limited her physical abilities.
“And you say Dalton is behind this barrier?” She asked.
“Yup. He’s in the tower, trapped by Yome. No idea what she’s doing, but I do hear him screaming.”
“Screaming.” Her eyes narrowed. A tail of diamond dust formed in her hand. “Is that so?”
“Yup.” Ingrid confirmed. Her eyes went dark. “Yome is torturing him. That is not allowed.”
“This is the one point where we agree on,” Maya looked up at the tower. “Let us tear this barrier down.”

“We only have a few minutes to escape this cavern.”
The Priest could see that as the stones rained down on them, dangerously, what he said was true. He held the Akane close to his chest.
“How can we do that?” Akane burrowed in his chest.
1. A) Use the exit right here.
2. B) I have teleportation magic.
3. C) Let’s just have sex.
“B.” He chose that because it was the most logical, but he had no hope for it at all. He had already chosen A and C. Both produced an H-scene.
And B produced did as well.
“I have a teleportation device.” He held a device shaped like an UFO. “It will allow us to escape at any time, which means we can make love right now on this rocky floor.”
“Oh-”
Dalton tuned this part out. He saw it all, but it did not register to him. For some reason they were using the teleportation device as a toy. Dalton had no desire to recall how it was being used. A few hours ago, he would have thrown up.
Immediately the scene changed from the post-coitus bliss.
“We broke the teleportation device!” The priest held up a flattened disc.
“That means we can’t escape.”
They were then crushed by the falling rocks. Megalofuppo still lives, summoning aliens to destroy the world.
The End.
“What a good ending.” Yome wiped away a tear.
“That was a good ending?” Dalton turned his head. “Huh, neat.”
“You still need to unlock twenty more endings before you can get the True Ending.”
“Is that so?”
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
Nothing seemed to penetrate him anymore. He had played enough of this game where he was cycling through hysteria, and to not caring. Currently, he was in the state of not caring, or maybe he was numb to all of it.
None of that mattered. No one was going to save him. He was trapped in a room with a witch playing erogames. It was the same feeling he got when his friend invited him to his house to watch porn. It’s just weird and off putting. What had he done to deserve any of this?
“The next heroine is my favorite. The way she is-”
His ears rang like static. He had self-censored the words that came out of her mouth. Based on the hand gestures, she was explaining a sex scene again.
Then something within him cracked, and he started to scream. He had crossed over to the hysteria mode of the cycle again. Yome laughed at his broken state and turned to continue playing the game while he made the choices.
The whole room suddenly shook, followed closely by a crack that sounded like the heaven had just split. It made Yome pull off her headphones, and glare at the direction of it. She opened the blinds, Dalton’s eyes winced at the first light he had seen in a few days.
She looked down. Her canines exposed as she crunched down on her teeth.
“Maya!”

Maya pressed her finger on the leylines of the barrier. She could feel the thrum of power pulsing through it. She shot ice through it, the barrier repulsed it and the ice chunk flew hitting Ingrid in the head.
Blood dripped from her head. The ice chunk would have killed anyone normal, but Ingrid stood tall, and crossed her arms.
“Did you do that on purpose?” Her tone icy.
“Of course not, but I expected a gorilla like you to move out of the way, perhaps my evaluation of you was a little too high.” She returned with an even icier tone. After all, she was the Witch of Eternal Ice.
Ingrid tightened her fist, her knuckles turned white.
Maya ignored the gorilla. She again shot a pulse of ice through the leylines, but this time in small bursts. It was a second, but there was definitely a disruption in its normal functions. Maya motioned for Ingrid to come closer.
“I should be able to break the first layer.”
“That was fast.” Her look was skeptical.
“It’s because I’m competent.” She shot a couple of bursts into the leylines, it created a hole big enough for a person to jump in.
Which was what happened. Ingrid jumped through and the first layer closed. She was stuck between the second and first layer.
Maya opened her mouth, unsure of what to say.
“Hey! Get me out!” Ingrid was smooshed between the two layers like a preserved butterfly. She tapped on the first barrier.
Maya looked at the leylines, because she was in there, it moved the leylines somewhere else. “I can’t,” she said in a quiet tone. “Your idiocy has moved the leylines. It might take a couple of hours to locate it.”
“A couple of hours!” Ingrid yelled. “No, you got to get me out of here now!”
“You shouldn’t have jumped in!” Maya threw up her hands. “I still had two more layers to crack!”
“You said you could break it!”
“Only the first layer!”
“You lied to me!”
“I didn’t! I said only the first layer! Maybe you should move blood from your fists to that pea size brain of yours!”
“My brain is not pea sized! I have PhDs in five fields of study!”
“Communication and Physical Education are useless fields of study!” Maya yelled.
“Don’t you say that!” Fury crossed her face as her nose flared. “I worked hard to get those degrees.”
“How many dragons did you have to slay to pay off those student loan debts?”
“I don’t know. A lot. Just get me out!” Even though it was a mere millimeter from the barrier, the force of her blow made the whole barrier shudder the same way when you whacked a slab of plastic.
Ingrid struck the barrier a couple of times, each blow feeling more powerful than the last. Maya waited for her to finish her tantrum, no matter what she wasn’t going to get out through force. Even if she was just a gorilla in that regard.
A crack formed where her fist met.
Maya blinked, unbelieving what she had just witnessed.
Ingrid had stopped to rest, she was taking in deep breaths, and her hair was glued to her forehead with sweat and blood. Her head was turned the other way, so she had not seen the crack.
“Well?” Ingrid’s voice hooked Maya’s attention back to her. “Do you have any idea how to get me out of here?”
“No,” she said simply. “But let me tell you the last date I had with Dalton.”
“What?” It caught her off guard.
Maya made a chair of ice and sat down on it. She started to play with her hair, curling it with her finger. “The thing is we went to The Country Lantern.”
Ingrid sucked in a breath. Tears were forming in her eyes. “The Country Lantern? You…why would you go there? When you know that was my dream to go there with him.”
“Why? Because it’s romantic, isn’t it? An ocean of lionheart wheat grains as far as the eye can see. A waiter that plays a violin right beside your table as you drink wine and enjoy the sunsetting on the hill. The exquisite premium bagyuu dragon grade steak. Everything was so perfect.” She put her head against her hands as if it were a pillow that would sweep her back to that pure moment.
“-ill.” She mumbled.
“Excuse me?” Maya asked to confirm her mumbling.
Her eyes flared a renewed and stronger inferno like rage.
“I’ll kill you!”
Her fist blew through the same spot, puncturing the barrier. The cracks rode up like lightning. The destruction cascaded to the other layers, and the barrier broke into tiny pieces.
A smile spread across Maya’s face. This was going to be a giant slap to Yome. She had made this barrier for her to crack, but instead the idiot broke through with pure force. Her pride would be wounded.
Yome struck her head out through the window. Anger broiled through the dragon witch’s face. Her canines gnashed, her eye’s sclera dyed black.
Then from the wreckage, Ingrid jumped out to attack Maya. Maya waved her hand and barrier formed. She had no delusions that the barrier would not hold from Ingrid’s might. She had just destroyed Yome’s barrier. It was just to give her enough time to summon her bow and form an ice arrow.
When the barrier shattered, Maya had loosed the arrow. It hit Ingrid square in the chest. An icy mist exploded and Ingrid dropped to the ground an ice statue.
She would also break out of that soon too. But at least she may cool down. Maya aimed her next arrow at Yome.
Yome jumped out of the tower naked, her body transformed into its true form of the jet-black dragon.
