Back at the library Naath had just made it to the top of the long stairway and into the library. His breathing was already ragged at this point but he persisted forward to the front desk stumbling now and again. Creating a new place for a true void membrane in his body was exhausting and had horrific side effects. When Naath finally got to the front desk it was the same librarian who had always been here before. Smiling, Naath told him his address and that he needed help getting home. Before giving any kind of explanation he passed out on the floor in front of the librarian. The librarian was in a panic, he had seen the book token and knew Naath had to have connections with the king.
He hastily picked up Naath’s body and exited the library putting up a closed sign and kicking everyone out. The librarian gently picked Naath up again and rushed at his top speed towards the address Naath had given him. Upon his arrival the guards went to stop him but upon seeing their young master and the look of concern on the librarians face they instead parted from the gate. They both wanted to follow to see Naath’s condition but they had a duty to fulfil and they were some of the rare loyal guards that existed in this world. Even if their own families were in danger without the permission of the house lord they would never abandon their posts.
Then again Naath’s father had taken in the families of most of the people under his employ into their large home. The librarian continued to the main house and quickly shouted out. “I am here with the house's young master, he has fallen ill!”
Naath’s father was out at this time talking with the king about various matters and only his mother and the servants were home. When his mother heard he had fallen ill she put down the book she was reading and made her way outside of the building. When she opened the door she saw the librarian surrounded by the butlers and maids of the house. She found this curious and wondered what could warrant all of them to be here and with such grave looks on their faces. Then again all of them were minor cultivators, so it had to be something that couldn't be seen at first glance.
As she approached the servants cleared a path for her and she gently placed a hand on Naath. The instant she used her martial energy to check his condition her face darkened and everything in the front courtyards froze over. She looked at the librarian asking in a literal icy voice “what happened?” The librarian said he had no idea and explained that Naath had just shown up at his desk given an address and fell unconscious on the floor. The librarian was shivering from the intense cold and so were all of the servants around. His mother, not feeling like the librarian was lying, dispersed her cold energy and picked Naath from the librarian's arms.
She brought him to his room inside of the house and sent several servants to several doctors. She waited patiently in Naath’s room by his bedside, after 15 minutes he opened his eyes and saw his mother there. He smiled weakly and said “Mother, don't worry, I just changed this body to be a bit like my old one. This is only a side effect, it might last a few weeks. In my first life I didn't even have martial energy and I survived, I’ll be okay.”
His mother let out a sigh of relief and hugged Naath tightly, she was overwhelmingly happy that even after regaining all of his past life's memories he still saw her as his mother. Not all reincarnators did, in fact it was quite uncommon, most of the time they would abandon whatever family they had upon receiving their memories again. She held him for a few minutes as he fell back into unconsciousness and the first doctor showed up to examine Naath. After only placing his hand on Naath's wrist for a minute he said.
“He will be okay, he just used his energy to forcibly change his body for some reason. He will be bedridden for about two weeks before he makes a full recovery. It will go faster if while he is conscious he can absorb energy and cultivate. If that’s all, I’ll be on my way.”

With that the doctor took his payment and left the house, the next two doctors gave the exact same explanation making Naath’s mother heave a sigh of relief. When Naaths father got home and saw him bedridden he went over and also looked over Naath’s body with martial energy. His father due to being an earth element cultivator noticed the extra calcium deposit on the back of his head. Curious, his father looked into it more and focused on it. After a moment he jumped backwards recalling his energy and looking at this son with shining eyes. He asked Naath.
“Son, did you make a new place in your body for an accupoint? How on earth did you manage that? Countless cultivators have tried for decades but never been able to manage it!”
Naath smiled and said “ah, sorry father, not to be rude or harsh but the first world I came from was one where there was no cultivation, only learning and science. I know more about the biology and working of the human body than probably anyone in this world. I had slightly started cultivating in my old world so I retained and memorised more information that can fit into thousands of libraries. To me altering the body to create new acupoints while taxing is relatively simple.”
His father harrumphed and asked “Oh yeah what kind of information does your ‘science’ look into? If it’s so great why have we instead gone to cultivation?”
Naath let out a breath and said “Father i'm sorry but saying everything it looks into is hard in a short span of time. Listing the things it did not delve into and research would be easier. We looked into the ‘why’ of every possible facet of everything, why does physics work, what are the laws of the world at a fundamental level. At the base level, how does everything work and why? We broke it up into branches, each branch studies things individually and together with the others. The branches are where explaining gets tricky, each branch has dozens of sub-branches as well.
Chemistry, how different materials interact with each other in every conceivable way and what they do when they interact and what result it produces. Physics which studies the laws of the world and how they work and interact with it. Like why does gravity work the way that it does? In my old world we thought maybe it was from some super ridiculously small particle called a graviton regulating the law of gravity at a fundamental level. By the time I left that world we simply didn't know, these are just two large branches father, there are hundreds more.”
Naath's father felt his head spinning from just this information and admitted defeat. “Okay, okay yeah that's way beyond me, we still study the laws of the world I guess just as the heavenly doa in order to increase our cultivation. It’s not wonder your sensory field is so massive, your understanding is probably greater than anyone ever born in this world. Alright, the doctors said you need to cultivate to recover more quickly so just lie down and try to draw in energy to heal faster.”
Naath nodded his head and closed his eyes and began to run his true void arts. He started with stabilizing the true void membrane he had made even further. Soon the membrane began taking in Naath’s martial energy and activating the properties of attraction and destruction. The energy gently flowed into Naath’s body through this membrane and spread through his bones, condensing again and again. Suddenly having a thought Naath extended his sensory field out as far as he could and looked for various elemental energies.
He could sense the metal energies and earth energies, he could feel the water energy from the rivers and the oceans. The lightning energy from the sky as well as wind energy, the fire energy from various bonfires and forges across the planet. He could sense the ice energy from the northern part of the planet . the light energy coming from the sun. There were countless energy types on the planet and due to Naath’s sensory range he could sense all of them. He started to draw in as many energy types as he could and lead it half into his bones and half into his dantian. With the true void arts breaking all energies down into true void energy there was zero risk of any energy contamination.
Naaths energy would remain 100% pure, in a matter of minutes Naath had regained enough energy to heal himself. After ten his dantian was full almost to bursting, so Naath compressed the energy like he had in his bones and like the information the rune left behind had told him to. It went from almost bursting his dantian that has the dimensions of a bowling ball down to being compressed into the size of a marble. He repeated this several more times and eventually even the compressed energy was approaching the limit of his dantian.
