Red Alert

Name: Red Alert

Make: Autobot

Role: Autobot Field Medic

Bio: Joining up with the Autobots shortly after the liberation of Iacon, Red Alert hoped to serve as a security officer, but washed out after a dozen or so false alarms too many. Her paranoia may have forced her to leave service with the Autobots entirely, if not for Ratchet reaching out to her. Seeing potential in the young bot, Ratchet provided Red Alert with medical training, something she took to much easier than security.

Although a competent medic, Red Alert's temperament leaves something to be desired. It is not uncommon for a damaged bot to be dragged off the field of battle, only to wake up and groan at the sight of Red Alert standing over them. While most doctors will attempt to comfort their patients, Red Alert wastes no time with such trivialities. She'll tell you exactly what's wrong with you. As well as what may be wrong with you in a few days. As well as what will be wrong with you if she fails to repair you. As well as what will be wrong with you if she does the repairs wrong. As well as what will happen to you if that energon you ingested a few days ago was actually contaminated by the Decepticons. Or what will happen to you if the Decepticons are planning a surprise attack right now . . .

Stolen story; please report.

Abilities: Red Alert has a unique vehicle mode, possessing enough interior space to fit smaller Autobots in the back of it. The plating making up this back section is considerably durable, protecting the patient inside from enemy fire. These plates hang from her robot mode rather than being incorporated into it, providing her with significant expendable cover while trying to reach casualties.

Although not primarily a fighter, Decepticons do not generally recognize the non-combatant status of medical personnel, requiring Red Alert to defend herself. She carries a short ranged but high-powered blaster, originally designed for removing unsalvageable pieces from patients, but more than capable of blasting off fully functional components when the situation calls for it.

Notes: (From Cliffjumper): Red Alert's paranoid. Now I know what you're thinking. "Cliffjumper, aren't you paranoid?" Yes, yes I am. But it's different with Red Alert. Just the frequency of it, you know? She's jumpy, and doesn't always pay attention to what she's doing. She's even almost run down a few of us smaller bots in the past. This is normally where I'd say all of this suspicious behavior is evidence of her being a traitor working for the Decepticons, but she doesn't strike me as the traitoring type. It's something else. I just wish I knew what was wrong.
