Jazz

Name: Jazz

Make: Autobot

Role: Autobot First Officer

Bio: Cybertron's capital province isn't just for the powerful and wealthy, and Jazz proves it. An everyman with a connection to Cybertron's music scene, Jazz became a close confidant and friend of Optimus when the Autobot was suddenly thrust into the position of Prime. The two participated in several conversations about the state of Cybertron, and Jazz was ultimately pivotal in Optimus's decision to take the fight back to the Decepticons. He was the first to join Prime's Autobots, and quickly proved himself to be an extremely competent commander, earning him the position of Autobot First Officer.

An old-school bot who's cool under pressure, Jazz is a familiar face to most of the Autobots. He's capable of switching from laidback confidant to serious commanding officer when the situation calls for it, making him capable of shouldering the burdens of leadership. He does crack under pressure sometimes, but he's always able to get it back together when the situation really calls for it.

Abilities: Jazz is a capable leader in his own right, often being assigned to oversee important missions. He's one of the smaller Autobots, but he's fast, and his cleverness extends to battle, leading many a towering Decepticon to find themselves on their aft while Jazz peels away.

Jazz possesses a grappling hook integrated into his arm. It's a simple device that requires some creativity to make full use of, but it's flashy and versatile in the right hands, making it perfect for Jazz.

Notes: (From Optimus Prime): Jazz is a good friend of mine, who was pivotal in a moment where I could've lost myself. While he is capable, the real reason I chose him as my first officer is because he understands people. It is from here that his well documented love of culture comes from, and it makes him a natural force for cohesion and unity amongst the troops. But most importantly, he never forgets what it is we're fighting for, even when the horror of war starts to take others.
