Hey guys, today's epilogue is significantly shorter than usual. Sorry, but I will make up for it tomorrow in the prologue.

Seg and Brie rode through the streets and out of town.
Seg tossed his coin purse at a beggar as they left.
Brie looked at him funny, and he said, “No point on bringing coin to the battlefield.”
Brie laughed at his sense of the dramatic.
“Of course. We must say goodbye to our loved ones and leave nothing behind.”
“Oh shut up.”
“So what’s the plan, anyway? Even if the mobs win, we’ll still have to eliminate them.”
Seg shook his head.
“No, we won’t.”
Brie looked at him in surprise.
“We will forge an ally with the monsters and employ them in our army, pushing this country towards even greater heights!”
Brie looked off into the sky.
“Do you really think it will be that easy?”

Rell whirled around, facing into the forest.
“Rell?” Dali asked, “ What is it?”
“I- I just thought I felt something. It’s probably nothing.”
“Nothing?” Dali said with a smirk. “You wouldn’t have sensed it if it was ‘Nothing.’”

He crouched down and ran in the direction Rell had looked.
He started with a sprint, and jumped over obstacles and off of trees.
By the time he was out of site of the party, his feet were hardly touching the ground.
As he ran he began to use tic-tacs to move higher up the trees.
He finally heard a noise, already about ten meters up.
He grabbed onto a horizontal branch, and swung around it into a crouch.
He listened to the leader of the men speaking to his men.
“As you know, beasts have been seen in the area, and we are going to be mounting an attack! We will exterminate them all! Full bounty will be paid for noncombatants! Anyone who flees battle gets nothing!”
Dali had heard enough. He stood back up and used his stealth to leave as fast as he could without being caught.
