The Worlds I Built
Welcome to the Demon (and Angel) World, Nameless and Lucerna-Kun!

Welcome to the Demon (and Angel) World, Nameless and Lucerna-Kun!

After passing through the portal, the two felt their bodies morphing as they go through the wormhole through another universe or dimension.

A portal forms in the underworld as it spews the two of them out.

“Owwie… It hurts…” Lucerna says, rubbing the back of her head as she stood up. Nameless on the other hand, landed safely.

“Lucy, did you just say… “Ow”? You can feel pain?” Nameless faces Lucerna, and she saw that Lucerna’s appearance changed.

A dark skin, instead of a bright white skin. Red eyes, instead of bright yellow. Golden yellow streaks on black and red hair. Two black horns on her forehead, a long, thin, red tail, and large red wings. Instead of a toga on her body, she has nothing covering it. Well, there was nothing worth covering because there’s nothing to cover.

“No, I don’t sis. But… now that you mention it… Yeah, I feel something hurts. I DO feel pain! Woohoo!” Lucerna jumps around, cheering, and dancing. “My back is a little heavy and– Woah… Look at you!”

“At me?” Lucerna nods as she makes a small light, using it as a mirror as it shows it to Nameless.

A bright, pale skin. Eyes, as white as snow. White wings of a bird, and a halo above her head. Nameless finally has her own body. Although, this body shape is not quite what she expected.

“I expected you to be flat… like me. Not as… how Libby says…? “Thicker than a bowl of sweet potato soup.” You look amazing, sis!” Still genderless, she uses her powers to cover her body, a black smog covering her upper bits and her lower bits on her behind, as there’s nothing to be covered in the front.

“I know it’s your power and all, sis. It just doesn’t fit.”

“What do you mean?”

“Using your black smoke to cover your body. It’s like hiding a masterpiece with fog. It’s just not right.” She smiles and makes a chuckle.

“Shut it.” Nameless smiles. She… smiled? All of her life, Nameless only felt three things. Responsibility. She felt that she was responsible for her siblings, and the lives that surrounded them. Admiration. Nameless admired her siblings for what they can do and feel and admired her father for his goals (that she assumed). And eternal longing. Longing to have what the others have. She was powerful enough to erase things from existence and travel from one solar system to another in seconds, but she doesn’t need that. She wanted to feel. That’s all she wanted for herself.

“This is a big moment! Maybe this dimension gave us new bodies!”

“It’s not a maybe. It’s definite. The portal changed our bodies and races, but our powers remained unchanged. I became an Angel–“

“And I became a demon! Amazing!”

“Correct.”

They both turn to the view behind them.

Behind them is the view of the entire realm. It is split into two using thick clouds. The land above the clouds, is the land of the angels, under is the land of the demons.

An enormous hole in the clouds acts as a gateway or a passage between the two lands. The light from the sun shines down on Overworld, while the light that seeps through the clouds, becomes red, shining red light over Underworld.

Lucerna uses her powered eyesight to look into Overworld from where they are, a mountain inside Underworld. In Overworld, white palaces, temples, and homes are built from what seemed to be hardened porcelain, painted with a lot of angelic imagery.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

The buildings in Underworld are the opposite red or black temples, castles, and houses made from hardened sand. It seems like the Paradisus is more advanced than either land.

“We should go find either Santana or Angela.”

“You got it, sis!”

“Santana told me that they have three palaces. One palace is in Overworld, owned by Angela, He owns one in Underworld, and They both share one in a place they call “Fallstreak.” It’s the big hole in the clouds.”

“Ohhh… Gotcha… Like that? It’s a bit hard to see, it’s like it’s being whooshed with magic. But I can see the flicker-flicker in the floating castle!” Lucy points in the direction of Fallstreak, Nameless squints her eyes and sees an invisible castle floating in the distance. It was only barely visible because of the distortion of light around the castle.

The two of them tried to fly, but they couldn’t even hover a single inch off the ground.

“So That’s the difference. We lost the ability to fly.”

“We’re unable to extensively use our abilities too. I can’t get in shadows.”

“Weird… I can’t go woosh-woosh, teleporting thing with my powers too!”

“Maybe our wings aren’t just for show. Maybe we can use it?” Lucerna points at her wings. She started moving her shoulders front and back, it didn’t work.

She began flapping her arms like a bird. It still didn’t work.

She started twisting and turning her upper body to get the wings to move but to no avail…

Nameless on the other hand, was able to flap her wings first try, as she hovers above 7 feet off the ground, making loud flapping noises.

“Eh? How come you were able to do it!”

“it’s because you already had a body and got used to it. It’s like attaching another arm to someone else.”

“… I don’t get it.”

“You’ll get to learn it.” She slowly hovers down, to the ground, and opens her hands for Lucerna to grab.

Lucerna takes her hands as Nameless begins to fly, to the hidden palace.

At first, Nameless’ flight path was rough, as she was still trying to get used to the flying motion of her newfound wings, while at the same time, holding onto Lucerna’s body so she won’t fall during the flight.

After a couple of hours of flying, they were flying at an incredible height, Nameless felt… tireless. No, she was already unable to get tired then, but she was able to feel it now. Every single twitch of a muscle, every single hair on her body feeling the wind, her hands clasping tightly with Lucy’s. It feels amazing.

Lucy… felt amazing. Watching her surroundings, the red-covered sky of Underworld, and the bright skies of Overworld. Angels and Demons coexist together with a smile on their faces, flying with so much freedom.

“I may have miscalculated the distance.”

“It’s alright! We’re already… almost halfway.”

“Easy for you to say. Try using your wings.”

“I told you, I can’t!” She says, smiling at her. “I can’t use my wings yet.”

“You know what, I think it’s time for you to experience the baby bird treatment.”

“The baby what treat– AAAAAGH!!!”

Nameless lets go of Lucerna’s hands, as Lucerna falls… slowly?

“How peculiar.” Nameless thinks to herself. “The gravity is much weaker here than in our worlds.”

Lucerna falls while spinning around.

“Sis, help meeeeee!!!” She shouts while spinning, falling downwards.

Nameless matches her falling speed, as she watches Lucerna fall.

“Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!!!!!!!” She says as her wings start to twitch, allowing her to stop spinning, and falling in a stable position.

Lucerna tries to flap her wings, but it’s not in sync, the other wing flaps before the other.

“Come on… Fly! You can do it! I won’t let me hit the ground! Speaking off… why haven’t I hit the ground yet?” Lucy thinks to herself, before looking downwards. “Oh.”

“Sis, you jerk!” Lucerna looks at Nameless, before immediately looking down. “I’ve got like… a couple of hours before I hit the ground.”

“Hey, I didn’t know too,” Nameless says, watching Lucerna solve her predicament by herself.’

“Then why didn’t you tell me?” Lucerna looks at Nameless again, before quickly looking at her wings.

“I did. You were screaming and you couldn’t hear me.”

“You did?”

“Yep.” She didn’t.

“Oh.”

Taking advantage of the weak gravitational pull, Lucerna had the time to learn to flap her wings in sync with each other, propelling her upwards, and learning how to fly.

“Yeah!” She cheers. As she began to zoom across the air. Nameless leads the way, and it takes a couple of moments for Lucy to stop playing around and follow her. “You’re a jerk. You know that. Right?”

“Yes. Yes, I do.” Nameless nods to herself, as Lucy puffs her cheeks. How long do you think we’ll have to fly before we reach it?”

“Maybe a couple more hours, more or less. Worst case scenario, it’ll take days before we even meet either Angela or Santana.”

“Oh… Can I sightsee? I promise I’ll return to the palace.” Lucerna asks, flying closer to Nameless.

“I can never say no to you, at times. You better take care.”

“I will!” Lucerna waves goodbye to Nameless, before flying away, to Overworld.

“When will my sister finally mature? Although, I couldn’t call myself mature too.” Nameless crosses her arms, continuing to fly into the castle.
