“Hmm… Could you tell us the long story short?” Libertad puts his feet on the table, leaning back on his throne.
“I suppose. Is that fine for the rest?”
“The faster it is, the better, so it’s fine by me.”
“Same here.” Serenitas nods, looking at Cere
“Awh, I thought it was gonna be storytime.” Lucerna pouts.
“I’ll tell you the story later, Lucy.” She clears her throat. “And so, here’s the summary. On a planet with seven continents, there are 7 beings with god-like powers, a war ensues and Father is summoned to that world by one of the beings before they died, and asked for Father to contain them.”
“I see… Do we have enough information to pinpoint his location?”
“No, I don’t. I couldn’t search for clues alone. That’s why I made this meeting so we can search for information together.”
“Hmmm. Cere, if you can remember, have you made a planet with 7 continents?”
“Yes, but we have also to consider continental separation.”
“What’s that?”
“It’s a term I made, after observing some planets. There are large continents that can split and divide themselves and move, creating smaller continents. So there could be a planet with 1 or 3 continents that have split itself into 7.”
“I see. How many planets do you think exist in this world?”
“Rough estimation… 9 trillion raised by the power of ten.”
“Sorry?” Libertad’s eyebrows furrowed.
“9 trillion, and add more 10 zeroes at the end. So it would be 9 with 22 zeroes (90,000,000,000,000,000,000,000). That’s including all planets, formed or not.”
“Woaaah…. That many?” Lucerna’s eyes twinkled with curiosity. “Do you think there is a chance that life can be born without my help on those planets?”
“Yes.” Cere looks confused, surprised with the unrelated question.
“Great!” They clap with a grin on their face.
“Damn… Do you think we can find Dad among these planets?”
“I don’t think we can find Dad that way.” The grin on their face disappear as they realized something.
“Why not?”
"Yeah, why not? There's some evidence that says that Father is in some planet here. Although... if that were the case, he could come home with ease, and if so, why didn't he? He wouldn't think of abandoning us, right?"
“I can sense all life. Even Father’s. I don’t sense him at all, anywhere.”
“Damn… Back to nil.” Libertad sighs. “Maybe Father is just so far away that you can’t sense him, Lucy.”
“That might also be the case but…” Lucerna tries to make a coherent explanation before they were cut off by Nameless.
“Cere, how did this being summon Father?”
“This being can create a certain kind of race. Humans.”
“Humans? How peculiar.” They put their hand on their chin as if to think deeply.
“What do you mean?”
“When Father and Lucy created the people that will live in our worlds, Father proposed a being that does not have an affinity to any nature. Humans.”
“Your point?”
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
“Father is the only person with this idea and the power to create them. Father is born alongside this dimension. I suspect that–”
“Father is in another dimension, and those seven beings make up a whole god, an existence similar to Father.” Nameless raises their eyebrow. "You interrupted me earlier, so I did the same." Cere smiles gleefully, as Nameless cracks another smile, that rattle's Cere's bones with fear.
“I see.”
“I don’t get it.”
“You don’t need to. I have a plan for this.”
“You have?” She asks, as she thinks about being able to contribute to the discussion.
“Oh yeah! I know what Sis is talking about!” Lucerna claps as a board made of light appears above the round table. It shows an image of an angel and a demon. “When Father created Angels and Demons, he used a lot of existential energy and gave them immense powers. They created their dimensions, heaven, and hell.”
“That’s correct. I’ll try to reach out to them. Since they can make their own dimensions maybe they can track and find Father.”
“How come we didn’t know about them?” Libertad scratches his head while Serenitas shakes her head.
“They were written on Dad’s list. Speaking of… Where did the Giants go? I thought Dad made them also. They were also on the list.”
“The Angels and Demons disappeared after Father created them.”
“And you didn’t bother to tell us?”
“We didn’t think you need to.”
“You know, one of these days, I’m gonna host a party and not invite you, Nameless.”
“I won’t attend, even if you beg.” They crack a smile, which made Libertad feel shivers under his skin.
“If that’s where the two races went, While the Giants… Yeah, where did they go?”
”I saw Dad make the Giants, but I don’t know where they went.”
“I’ll go ask the demons and angels if they know where the Giants went.”
“Okay. While you’re gone, what are we going to do?”
“Resume your works. Lucy will have to double her work while I’m gone.”
“What?! No!!!” She cries, looking at Nameless
“It’s okay, I’ll help you, Lucy. There’s not much to be done in Paradisus.”
“Well then, See you all next meeting. I’ll do my best to produce results.” Nameless goes back into the shadow of the throne.
“Well... What now?”
“Well, we do what Nameless says.”
“Why is it always Sis that gives the orders?” They pout, crossing their arms.
“Oh, I know the answer to that. She answered that exact question years ago."
----------------------------------------
“Yo, Nameless.” I talked to Nameless, since I had free time, as I was done with my shift in managing Art.
“Yes, Libertad?” They turned to me, closing the book they were reading.
“I just wanted to ask you something.”
“Sure. Go ahead. I don’t have much to do yet.”
“How come you took the leadership role immediately? Is it because you look like Dad that you think you have to lead us properly? That you have to follow Dad's image?” I scratched the back of my head.
“That is just a reason of many. Why do you think Father gave me the authority over Death, Darkness, and Despair?” She crossed her arms.
“I don’t know. I never thought of it. Why did Father give me the power to control Wind, Freedom, and Creativity?” I too, crossed my arms as I thought about it. Couldn’t he just give it to us, just because?
“Father gave us our first lessons when he gave us our names and powers.” Did he?
“He did?” (Author’s Note: He did not.)
“Yes. Father gave me the power over Death because he wants me to understand that everything has an end. Even his reign. He wants me to take over once he’s gone. He gave me the power over Despair, as he is teaching me that everything will not go my way and that there is nothing I can do but adapt to it. And he gave me the power over Darkness, as there is always a second side to everything, he is teaching me to make sure that before I make a decision, I need to understand both sides of a story.”
“What about me?”
“That is up for you to figure out.”
----------------------------------------
“Hmmm That’s exactly what would Nameless say. So, have you reached an answer?”
'Well, just one. I think Father gave me the power over creativity, with the same idea as he gave Nameless with the power of Darkness. I need to look at numerous angles to everything, never be satisfied with one method, create more. Never be content with one thing, create more! Pave path for myself and others, using our imaginations."
"How nice...."
“Well, just like what Nameless said, figure out what lesson Father left behind with our names.”
“Easy Breezy!”
"It took me a hundred years to get to that conclusion, you know."
"You must be that slow, huh."
"Speak for yourself, Cee!"
