The Worlds I Built
Self-Reflection

Self-Reflection

My children had now left to do as discussed, moving mountains, growing volcanoes, typical god jobs.

Now that they're gone, I have some time to mess with my powers, as I've never thought about using my powers aside from endlessly spewing out suns.

I lay down the pen, paper, and ruler that I had all along this time on the table, and left my seat.

Walking to the endless area of flowers and grass, I close my eyes to imagine myself as a human.

I imagine myself with fair skin, black eyes, black hair, normal height, a little fat on my belly, and strong muscles and bones, do I have to imagine the organs too? Maybe not.

I open my eyes and I look at my hands and I look around.

I have hands again!

I mean, I still have my hands, I just got a portion of my hands sacrificed, but it's all there now!

For some reason, I can see things even more clearly than before.

I can feel things better than before. I can feel the strong wind hitting me, the blazing heat of the sun on my skin, it feels amazing.

What about water? I imagine water on my hand, and water immediately appears in a shape of a ball, I imagine the water ball to become even bigger than me, and it does the same. It really seems like my imagination is my limit. I jumped into the floating ball of water, and I felt the lukewarm water on my body... disgusting.

I get out of the water and imagine the water to be cold, then once again I jumped inside.

It feels amazing! The refreshing coldness of the water soothes my body and removed the heat made by the sun on my skin. I feel like all of my (non-existent) fatigue has left my body.

I disperse the water, and spread it all around the grass, watering a large area at the same time, and at the same time, as an experiment, I put my palm out, facing the sun, and started pushing on air.

The sun started to become smaller with every push, and the sweltering heat became hotter.

"Wait! That's not what I want!" I shouted and began to pull instead.

The size of the sun became larger and larger, but the heat was reduced.

I have no idea what the science behind that is, but I guess bigger is colder.

Instead of adjusting the sun, I imagine the planet I'm on moving away from the sun every push before actually pushing.

And as I wished, the ground shakes powerfully, as I pushed the air, as I see the sun getting smaller from my perspective, and heat becoming even weaker.

Okay, I can make water and move and resize things, what about the earth, wind, and fire?

Maybe I could do it in Avatar style.

I grabbed the air, stomped on the ground, and punched the air at the same time, and a strong gust of wind flies out of my fist.

I make a wide kick upwards, and fire appears on my feet and follows the path it made.

I imagine the ground of my palms and raise my hands, and a large dirt wall appears in front of me.

"I'm the Avatar! You gotta deal with it!" I should loudly, as I start punching the air behind the dirt wall, and balls of dirt fly forward from the wall.

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

I spend hours playing around, using my elemental powers, I was even able to shine light with my hands, and made hard light into a sword.

Of course, the aftermath of playing around was a big area of the plains decimated into a large crater with parts of it are mud, parts of them charred dirt, mounds of dirt scattered around, and solid light pierced on the grown.

"Amazing work, father. My respect for you grows every minute." Nameless says behind me. I turn around as she is just outside the crater, sitting on her chair.

"How long were you sitting there?" I asked.

"20 days. Ever since you started." They answer.

"What? I was just playing for hours! Days? I haven't seen the moon or seen the planet make a full spin!" I exclaim.

"This planet has no moon, father. And I made it so that the planet doesn't spin, nor orbit around the sun." They reply in a calm manner.

"Hmm... What do you think about the time then? Because I genuinely feel like I've only played for a couple of hours." I ask, crossing my arms.

"Well, I'm afraid I can't answer that with certainty. However, I could assume that you feel time faster than I do." They answer calmly.

"I see. Sorry for showing this childish side of me." I say in a weak tone.

"It's not childish at all, Father. It's nice to see you have fun."

"You're very mature."

"Thank you for your compliment."

"Hmm... Would you like to have some fun with your siblings when they're done? I'd like to make a house with you six. Or maybe a palace."

"I'd love to spend time with you, Father." They say in a happy tone, but with their ghost-like voice, I barely can tell.

"Great. What are you doing there, watching me?" I ask.

It seems that Nameless stayed by my side throughout this whole ordeal, where they are constantly visited by their brothers and sisters to report on what they have done. Over the course of those 20 days, they were able to reform 3 planets.

They explain that on the first planet, they filled the planet with mana, and modified the habitats, the underground, and everything, with mana. They developed the second planet using Aura, underground and aboveground. And then the third, they did nothing but use their inherent powers to develop the planet into an inhabitable planet.

They said that they also plan to add unique beings on the first planet, apart from the beings they are going to add to the 3 planets, unique plants, rocks, and natural materials on the second planet, and both on the third planet, the one with no special energy.

They explain that they made it that way to have a certain balance on the three planets, to avoid making three exact copies of one planet.

"And that is all they have done." They say, ending their explanation.

"In 20 days?" I ask.

"Yes, they may not look like it, but they are very dependable, I assure you that." They say proudly.

"I do not doubt you or your siblings, You're all my children." I immediately tell the truth. While I may be having doubts about my purpose, their lives, and their existence, I don't doubt them. I truly love them for what they are, even though I've just given birth to them. Call it maternal instinct, if you will.

"I'm glad to hear that." They say.

"I need to ask, why did you not make a body and stay like that? Let me rephrase that, Why did you not copy your siblings that made their body, and clothes... clothes..." I look at my body and see my bare body. My cheeks turn red and imagine clothes around me, and by instinct, a plain black t-shirt and cargo pants form and fit my body perfectly. In that quick second too, I don't have both orifices, male, and female, nor backdoor, I don't have it. Is it because I don't need it anymore?

Nameless lets out a short giggle before speaking. "That is because I wanted to follow you, father. As you didn't have any physical form, I didn't make one."

"Will you make one now?"

"I don't see the need to do it now, father. But I'll do it next time. Would you like to come with me and see the planets? and the spare planet that Lucerna uses for her life creation?" She answers and immediately changes the topic, stopping me from pressing further.

"Sure!" I say, then Nameless digs her hand in the air and opens it wide, revealing a black-edged portal, you can clearly see Lucerna trying to chase something through it.

"Hey! Come back! I forgot to add something!" They shout, as they huff and puff, while running. Do they even get tired? Or is it just me?

Nameless goes into the portal, and I follow her.
