Round Table Discussion - Religion

Round Table Discussion - Religion

"Religion? What for? I don't think making religion about any of us would do any good to us." Pira says.

"But there is good in setting up a religion." Nameless says

"That's right. While Father can spend as much Existential Energy, We can't. The only way for us to gain Energy is to either, ask father to give us Energy, or through religion." Cere says, supporting Nameless.

"Why's that?" Libertad asks.

"Existential Energy, as the name implies, is the energy of our existence, we use it all, and we cease to exist. Gone, not a single trace left."

"That's... alarming," Serenitas says with a calm tone, but her expression says otherwise. "I kept on using my energy to create bodies of water for a lot of planets, some planets we made for father only have water in them. Why didn't you tell us immediately?"

"That's because we only knew about it just a day ago. Existence Energy can be replenished, if someone or anyone with a lesser power or authority believes in you, worships you, loves you, and more. As long as you are getting your existence to be known, you'll bet your energy back."

"You're sure with that information, Cere?" Pira asks, raising his eyebrow.

"Of course I am. I got this information in the book."

"You shouldn't rely on books that much. Try exploring instead of stuffing your head in that book of yours."

"That's stupid." Cere retorts

"You're stupid." Pira retorts back.

"I'm the god of knowledge, who are you fooling, Pira?" Cere smiles as Pira fires a small fireball at Cere's face, burning her brown eyebrows.

"That hurts!" Cere rubbed her singed eyebrows, Pira laughing his stomach loudly, suddenly silenced by a flying stone to his face, where it wounds his forehead and cheeks. Cere watches him get off his chair in anger.

"You'll regret that!" Pira is about to blow a powerful and fiery tantrum, when so suddenly, a bright ball of light blinds him, a gust of wind blows him back, and a large water ball surrounds him, cushioning his fall, then it turns into ice. It seems the inside is hollow, as Pira can still move and smack the inside walls of the ice ball. All eyes turn to Serenitas who spoke with a loud voice.

"You better calm down, Pira. And you shouldn't have let him provoke you Cere." Cere nodded, agreeing with what Serenitas said.

A portal then engulfs the large Ice ball, courtesy of Nameless.

"With that out of the way, let's begin the plan for religion. I have an idea of my own, but I'd like to know if you all have ideas." Nameless says, rubbing her hand together. Shrugging or ignoring what had transpired just now.

"I have one," Libertas says, raising his hand. Nameless gestures for him to put down his hand, which he does. "Why don't we roam around the planets, and help people in our way?"

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

"Too much time will be wasted going around." Cere immediately interjects. "I propose making a network with leaders of tribes and races, telling them what can be done for them to prosper."

"Those are certainly good ideas. For me, anything goes. I've been observing people for a while now. They seem to be confused when approaching new things. A single godly presence that no one can fathom, one can't think if they'd worship it, love it, hate it, or fear it. That would count as religion, yes?" Nameless says with an unsure tone.

"No, I don't think so, Nameless." Libertad says, scratching his head.

"I'll try it anyway."

"I like Libby's idea," Lucerna says with a smile. "I could go around and spread happiness, love, and stuff."

"I'm okay with avoiding the idea of religion. I could just ask father to give me energy." Serenitas says with a shrug.

Fire combusts on Pira's seat, as Pira materializes out of flames. "Yep, I needed that. Thanks. What are we talking about again?"

"Religion, and how to implement them. It's your turn to show and tell." Libertad says, Pira nods before speaking.

"I like the idea of simply spreading the word, telling them what needs to be done for the god, and the god answers and whatnot. It's easy, simple, and time-saving." Pira says.

"Why not merge all of the ideas?" Lucerna suggests.

"Explain," Nameless says, drinking her tea. "...Tasty."

"Well, first we all show up, showing our presence to the world, your idea. Then we pick a couple or a handful of representatives to connect to us, Cere's idea, then we tell the representatives what to do, spreading the word, Pira's. and helping people in our way? That's Libby's. And if we think the energy gathering is slow, we can ask dad for energy, and we can stop when we want to." Lucerna says.

"We can do that."

"Great! Uh... What about father?" Lucerna asks, tilting her head a bit.

"I don't think Religion is his main priority. We should not bother him unless it's an emergency." Nameless says, "Unless father comes to us, we should do what we are meant to do."

"So is that it? Nothing more, Nothing else?" Pira asks, looking confused.

"Well, If you didn't throw that tantrum, You wouldn't be looking like a wet, confused cat." Cere smiles, while Pira's hair starts to burn up in anger.

"Yes, we should start the plan now." Serenitas quenches Pira's burning hair to calm him down,

"All planets at the same time?" Cere asks also, getting off her chair, and grabbing her book.

"No. We'll make and perform the same routine on every planet. We show up, we make a speech, we pick people to work for us, repeat for the next planet."

The six nod in agreement, getting off their chairs at the same time.

"What do we call our religion?" Pira asks.

"You can do that by yourself." One by one, they disappear, starting with Nameless.

"Come on! Guys? Help me out on this one." Serenitas evaporates into mist

"Sorry, Can't think of a good one." Libertad is next to vanish into air.

"Really? What about you Lucy?" Cere crumbles into dust.

"Oh! What about The Power Six?" Lucerna says, before dispersing into nothing.

"That's the ugliest name!" Pira grumbles, before combusting into fire, disappearing into nothing.
