Genesis (2)

“Okay Aleph, explain more.” Michael leans in to listen closely.

“Okay. When you all talk about the past you all remember, I remember them too.”

“I see… Do you all read manhua or manga?” Michael asks.

“What’s that?

“Manhua, or a webcomic, a vertical comic made for websites in Korea, is a counterpart of Japan’s black and white book-style Manga, ” I say. Arthur and Vaciva nod while others shake their head. My theory keeps getting proven right every second… I don’t know about it… I can’t seem to remember anything about it, but I know… through Michael.

“Those comics have these stories of people dying, mostly being hit by a car, and waking up in another world. What if, wait for it… What if, in that bus that we all remember, everyone died and all merged into one being?” He suggests.

“If that were to be the case… What now? I mean we can still debate about it, but what are we gonna do about it? We don’t have a way back home, and I don’t think some of us would want to go back.” Vaciva says while I let go of the crystal floating in mid-air.

“Damn right, having powers is sick!” Tamer says.

“I don’t mind either way. I’ll end up taking care of plants no matter where I go.” Dryad says.

“Same here,” Aquarius says.

“If that’s the case, we can continue the world-building, yes?” King asks, and all of us nod.

Right… where were we? Oh, I remember.

“We were talking about the development of the fake humans before the war happens,” I say.

“I’ll handle it, just record me doing it.” Michael makes a mini human on his palm, then he makes it dance like a puppet on stage. “What we should think about is developments during and after the war. Would Vaccy be defeated? Would any of them join? Would Aleph show up?”

“Vaccy is a nice nickname, Mikey,” Vaciva replies. “I think Aleph needs to show up at that scene.”

“Me? Why?” I ask.

“Well, now that I’m overwhelmed, 1.5 to 5.5, then—"

“Wait, I’m the .5s? Cool, since I’m playing on both sides.” Arthur makes a slight chuckle, which makes Vaciva glare at him for a moment.

“As I was saying, I experiment with my powers to get stronger and I summon you, from ‘another dimension’ and ask for your help, since you’re the strongest out of all of us.”

“I’m sorry for being like a broken record but, me? Why? We’re all clones with different memories and personalities, we all have equal strengths.” I say, They all shake their head at the same time, I swear, the only time they sync is when one of us is wrong.

“Remember what Lucy said when you made those elves scared?” King asks, I nod. “Well, we see the dark, imposing, scary aura you have.”

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

“It’s not that scary, it’s like one of those aura effects in games that gives you like a dark outline,” Michael adds. “Speaking of elves, how are they anyway? Lemme borrow the B.O.K, Vaccy. I hope they’re ain’t scared of us anymore.” He opens his hand, and Vaciva hands the book to him.

Michael stands and leaves the circle, opening the book to read, and pacing around next to us.

“Okay, you summon me, what next?” I ask, Vaciva clears her throat before she continues.

“Well, I don’t know. Let me think.” She crosses her arms.

“What about Aleph does the same Dry, Aqua, and I do?”

“What, like he’ll make plants and animals for the monsters? That won’t work. The idea of Vaciva summoning Aleph won’t work.” Aquarius says.

“Then, what do you propose?” Vaciva asks, and Dryad speaks before Aquarius does.

“Beastmen, Ents, and other dryads exist in the other world, as different races. Why don’t you add them to the monster race?”

“I see where you’re going. Make them envious of Michael’s humans also. While I can make monsters only, I can make monster plants, monster beasts, and make them humanoid and convince them to switch.” Vaciva nods, then Dryad nods too

“Exactly. Then Michael will be the one who summons Aleph as a last resort.” Dryad smiles as she replied.

“How would Michael come up with the method of summoning?” Tamer asks.

“Michael uses all of his powers not to create a human, but to summon one, from another world,” I say. Which makes Dryad point at me, her face lighting up like a mother seeing her kid do something great.

“That’s right! Amazing thinking, Aleph.” She says. “Oh! Also, due to what he did, he ‘loses’ his ability to create humans.”

“Then what am I gonna do?” I ask.

“You need to do something that will cage Vaccy, Dry, Aqua, and Tamer— You have an ugly name Tamer, you really need to change it, I couldn’t think of a good nickname,” King says. “Where was I? Right. You need to do a move that will defeat them all at the same time. Like… Marooning them.”

“I could think of a good name,” Tamer says.

“Marooning? What does that mean?” I scratch my head. I thought what they know is what I know…. Is something wrong with me?

“Locked someplace with no way out.” He replies.

“Like a prison?” I ask.

“Yeah, but it should be a prison where no one can get to easily. A place that if someone were able to get there, they’re worthy enough to kill them or let them go.” Vaciva says.

“A tower would be nice,” Tamer says.

“You guys know the Tower of God from the Bible?” Arthur asks

“Yes. A tower made by humans to reach God, to take his place. Also, it’s the Tower of Babel.” Dryad says

“Right, I mistook it for a comic I read.” He says. “We could make something like that.”

“That’s an okay idea. Well, what if a tower is made to do exactly that? A tower where the 4 god-like beings are held indefinitely, where those who climb it, will be granted a choice, to kill the gods and take their place, or to set them free, or go back down.” Dryad makes a small tower with dirt., it’s as large as her hand.

“If that’s the case, the tower needs to be hard to climb, yes?” Vaciva asks.

“That’s right. And so, Aleph makes the tower, ‘forces’ us into that tower, and all four of us will be making sure that the tower will be hellish to climb.” Dryad continues

“But also damningly rewarding so that they won’t back out.” And Vaciva adds.

“That’s right. But before Aleph does that, We all do one final attack that eliminated all humans except Michael and a couple of humans stashed away. That was his plan, Aleph, right?” Dryad looks at me, I nod before speaking.

“Yep. He creates 4 humans, two men, two women and he puts them in a crystal, he wakes them up, and tells them that he’s been searching for them for thousands of years, and then the ‘amount of time that they were gone’ made them ‘lose their memories’ and there we actually start the world.” I say.

“Okay… That seems to be a good enough plot. Go and tell Michael the story and that we’re ready.” Aquarius says.

I nod and walk to Michael, who stopped pacing around and reading the book.

“What’chu reading about? Everyone’s done with the story and they’re excited to make history.” I ask.

“Take a look at this, Al. Our children are doing well. Wait, that sounds like we’re a gay couple.” He gives me the book.

“No, that’s fine. I don’t mind.” I take the book and I flip the pages open.

There I found the wonderful things they made in the worlds they made.
