Jack, Mary, and Yune went to school. They went to their respective classes and two of them did what they usually did - Mary slept in the back, while Jack rapidly clicked her pen. Both of them were just waiting to leave. However, Yune who usually did pay attention in class, was different. Today, she didn't feel like listening. It was pointless, she thought. Then, her anger began to set in as she looked out the window. She spun her pen around while thinking about her original life. She remembered everything, and that made the life she was living now feel so empty.
And then, she remembered Mizu's happy face. And then the face she made when she lied dead on the grass. There was a fire burning in Yune's heart. She couldn't just wait around at school and act like everything was fine. It wasn't. She needed answers. She needed to find Mizu's killer.
She thought about using however many black coins to make the shopkeeper tell her who killed Mizu, but she didn't want to use any of Mary's reserves. Yune felt like it would be a waste, and after spending time with them, she didn't hate them. However, she also began to doubt whether the feeling was just a ruse - whether she had been feeling this sense of family only because Mary and Jack reminded her of Mizu and Eli respectively. But Yune didn't know. Nonetheless, she had no desire to hurt them.
As for Eli, Yune did believe that she was telling the truth. But Yune still needed answers. She wanted to just leave and go to her right now.
As for Mizu, there were plenty of Light Guardians who could have had a motive. Their team had been stealing kills for a long time, so anybody could have done it. However, she began suspecting the two of her friends. She first thought of Mary, but found that very unlikely considering she was still in the grave. Then, her mind went onto Jack. That seemed more likely.
The more Yune thought about it, the more she began to believe that Jack may have killed Mizu. Yune knew that Jack was violent and had uncontrollable anger. Also, Jack told her about many times where she killed Light Guardians, though Jack never did go into specifics. Then, there was the scene. It flashed before her and felt like she was there. Unconsciously, she even used that scene as an example to try and cover up Kira's murder. She didn't remember the details at the time, but figured that since whoever left Mizu's body left plenty of clues to indicate it was a Light Guardian, Yune knew, without realizing it, how to cover one up by hiding those same kind of clues.
However, Yune didn't want to think about that time. She tried to recollect her thoughts on Mizu. Mizu's body laid there with a jagged blade wound. The wound itself was cauterized which would indicate that the blade was burning hot. Jack's flaming machete would probably fit the wound as well as explain the cauterization.

Then, there were the large footprints that could have belonged to a Night Demon. But those footprints were bipedal. And when she remembered Jack's huge armored body, she thought that those footprints could match. However, she still wasn't sure.
There was also a black coin that was left there. Yune didn't know if it was intentionally left there or not, but it did make her question for just a moment that it could have been a Night Demon. However, that was not the case. She knows that a Light Guardian did it.
When she thought that Ava and Mia were possible culprits, she immediately killed them and came to regret it later. Although, she barely knew them, as she thought about it, they couldn't have been the killers. But there was the distinct chance there might be, and she just committed to it. Her anger was just like Jack's in that moment.
The more Yune thought about it, the more likely it seemed Jack was the killer, but she couldn't quite believe that. She needed proof. She needed to be sure. Just as there was a small chance that Ava and Mia did kill Mizu, there was a chance that Jack didn't kill Mizu. And Yune didn't want to hurt her after their short time together. She needed proof and confirmation to act on it. She wouldn't try to jump to conclusions like she did with Ava and Mia.
When the teacher saw that Yune wasn't paying attention. He yelled, "Yune, can you answer question five in your textbook!"
Yune ignored the teacher's questions. She focused on figuring out whether Jack could have killed Mizu or not.
But the teacher insisted.
"Yune, are you listening!? I want you to answer the question."
The noise began to bother Yune. She couldn't concentrate on what was important. The scene began to vanish. Her thoughts became muddled.
"Quiet," Yune muttered and the teacher heard it.
"What did you say!? Do you want me to call the principal? Just answer the question," the teacher pestered making more noise that bothered Yune even further.
Then, Yune remembered Mizu and Eli. Mizu on the ground lying dead on the floor. Eli in a hospital bed with tubes keeping her alive.
Yune closed her ears and muttered, "Stop it."
But the teacher kept barking. It eventually just turned into white noise that Yune couldn't understand. The crackling. The incessant nature of it. It annoyed Yune to the very core until she stood up and snapped angrily, "Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! SHUT UP!"
Yune's hand shrouded itself in a misty shadow and was about to conjure her hook and chains. She wanted to throw it at him, but she stopped herself. In that instant, she stopped, and the shadows disappeared without doing anything. She was lucky that nobody saw it. The class was even luckier that Yune was able to control herself. If she hadn't, she might have turned out like Jack with almost zero control over herself.
Yune was standing up for a few seconds while the whole classroom went silent. She turned away with a look of heated fury and walked away from the classroom. She would have usually told the teacher that she wasn't feeling well, but she didn't care.
"Hey, where are you going? You can't talk to your teacher that way," the teacher said furious with her for snapping like that.
"Don't push your luck, teach," Yune replied rudely before she slammed the door behind her.
She left the school without looking back. And without informing Jack or Mary.
As soon as she was outside the school, she transformed and leapt up to the rooftops. She dashed straight towards the hospital.
