Right now, I am back in Vanhalin visiting Jax's parents with the kids. This is the first time that they are meeting Jamie and they love her so much. Seeing them is starting to make me miss my mom. I heard they moved after I died. I have not looked for her because I wanted to get away from my father. Just like that 10 years have gone by.  I am female, married and I have two kids. Mikki: Jax I am going out can you watch the kids

Jax: Where you going

Mikki: To paint. I will be back in a couple of hours.

Derek: I did not know you were artist Mikayla

Mikki: It is just hobby

Gwen: Do you mind if we see one

Mikki: Sure, I don't mind

I take out one of the painting I did it is a family portrait of Jax and I with the kids. They looked shocked when they see my painting.

Gwen: Wow this is beautiful Mikki

Mikki: Thanks

Derek: Who taught you how to paint like this.

Mikki: My mother

Derek: Mother? Now that you mention it I have never seen your parents before.

Mikki: It is complicated

Gwen: I see well you don't have to talk about it if you do not want to

After that I take a car and I head to the park. I decide to paint the playground with kids playing on it. This takes me back when my father still liked me. My mother taught me how to paint and found out I was genius at it. My father started selling them. After I quit our relationship went downhill. My mom was scared of my dad. She did everything my dad said to do. Couldn't be helped she was just trying to survive. Dad had kind of a temper when I was growing up especially when he was drunk. I use to hide in the closet every time he would go on his rants. I don't know why she married him. When I was, young I asked her why she always wore long sleeves. Then I realize she had bruises on her arms. When I got old enough He moved from her to me. That is why I always liked to play at Jarrin's or Misaka’s house when we were kids. Just because you are rich does not mean that you are happy. Jarrin only grew up with her mom and had way less money than we did, but she was always happy. I grew up with both parents and was miserable.

That voice it familiar I have not herd it in 10 years. I turn around and see my mother Nicole Zepelli, she looks so different now. She use to look like a noble lady now she looks like I hippy. Not only that she looks happy. She looks like me with short blonde hair and blue eyes. I guess she would be in her late 40’s by now.

That is the last name of one of my mom's favorite painters, did she finally run away from him. Maybe me dying was a good thing she could finally escape that monster like I did. My one regret was leaving her with him

Nikki: I had a son I taught how to paint. He would be your age if he was still alive. He was probably the only good thing I got from my marriage. They took him from me to early. It is the parent who is supposed to go before their child. Not the other way around.

I wanted to see my mom. But I was afraid of my dad. He is kind of my trauma. I know it is stupid and irrational fear, but if someone beats from time you were 5 till you were in high school you want to avoid that person. I never told anyone about this not even Jarrin or Misaka. I just kept smiling away like nothing was wrong.  I guess I am more like mother than I thought

Nikki: I left my husband he was very abusive person, Maybe If I would have stood up to him sooner my son would still have been alive

Guilty I feel so guilty right now that I don't know what to. I also know this my dad is a control freak he has money and power, he is just not going to let her go like that.  That must why she changed her last name.

Mikki: Your brave person. My father was also a drunk and abusive. I use to hide in the closet when my dad beat my mom. I ran away when I was 18 leaving my mom all by herself. I have not seen her in 10 years. I was scared to go back. Do you think she would forgive me?

Nikki: Of Couse, she would forgive you. You’re a silly girl. You were child and you were scared. I am sure she would want what is best for you. She would not want you to live that life and she would you be happy, and be glad that you are free from him. I do think you should talk to her though. I give anything to see my son again

God danm it the water works are coming. tears start streaming down my eyes. Than my mom hugs m even though she does not know it is me and thinks I am a total stranger. This was not supposed to happen. How and why did I run into her.

Nikki: It okay dear. You look like a person who has not cried in a long time. Let it all out. It is not good to keep your feeling held in. I learn that that the hard way.

Two limos interrupt us. They appear in the park and men in black suits and shades pop out. They have a Z on their suit. They are no doubt my father’s men. I recognize the head of security Wade. A real dick he uses always pick on me when I was a kid. Until Jarrin found out and decked him. he still has a scar she gave him on his right cheek.

Wade: Mrs. Zepelli it time for you to come with me

Nikki: I am never going back to that man. In my youth, I was a fool. I now know what kind a man he truly is.

Mikki: She is not going anywhere Wade.

Wade: How did...... Who are you. Why do you look like the Madam?

Shit I got piss and let out his name

Nikki: I never mention his name how did you know that.

Mikki: Would believe he has Wade looking face.

Nikki: You lie like my son he was bad at lying too.

Wade: Take the Madam also bring me this mystery girl I would like to know her identity

Nikki: Wade she has nothing to do with this.

Wade: Aren't curious to why she looks like you. I sure am.

The guards come after us. They are nothing much. I cannot use magic so, I just rely on my natural fighting instincts as a Valkyrie. I am done with all the guards but Wade takes My mother hostage. With a magic sword

Wade: I would stop right there

Mikki: How do you have a magic sword

Wade: You know about magic. You are not ordinary person. Which makes me even more interested in your identity. I suggest you come with me peacefully she won't get hurt.

Mikki: You would not risk hurting her.

Wade: My boss has many mistresses and I am sure he won't miss one. Not if I bring you back. There is something about you that feel familiar. Put on these cuffs.

I put on the cuff they are magic cuffs that seal powers I lose all my strength and can't use my magic.

Wade: Sense you know about magic I am guessing you can use it as well. I don't want to take any chances.

Some of the guards I knock out finally started to wake up and come and put me in the car. We head to my father’s mansion and they seal us in a room. Wade takes a strand of my hair.

Wade: I have a theory about you.

After that wad leaves and Mom and I just wait it out she is scared. We begin to talk any I try to calm her down. Wade comes back he astonished look on his face.

Wade: I took your hair and I thought that you were one of the boss's illegitimate offspring. It turns out your DNA belongs to not only the Boss but the Madam as well.

Nikki: WHAT! how is that possible I was only pregnant one time with my son. Who are you Mikayla.

Mikki: You would not believe me if I told you.

Wade: It has something to do with magic am I right

Nikki: You keep talking about magic, Magic does not exist.

Mikki: Yes, it does Mom
