4.Unexpected discovery

All of this happened unexpectedly, and I felt a wave of embarrassment. My mind was in chaos, but I had no mood to contemplate what had occurred. After listening to my words, Xu Xiaorong seemed to find my reasoning convincing. Her tears gradually stopped, and her inner turmoil seemed to ease, as if everything wasn't as bad as it appeared.

However, she quickly noticed my hand on her shoulder. A hint of disgust flashed in her eyes, and she unceremoniously slapped my hand away. Her gaze seemed to imply that I had done something indecent, leaving me somewhat speechless. It was just a pat on the shoulder, as if I harbored some unsavory intentions towards her. I just wanted to comfort her.

Feeling a bit frustrated, I stood up and walked towards the beach. "I'll take a walk along the beach to see if there are any other survivors," I said in a less-than-friendly tone.

"I'll go with you. I'm scared alone here!" Xu Xiaorong hurriedly shouted, quickly standing up and following behind me.

I was somewhat annoyed by her behavior, just moments ago she was disdainful, and now she was closely trailing behind me. Feeling a bit irritated, I accelerated my pace, walking briskly ahead. Xu Xiaorong, being a woman and having twisted her foot, couldn't keep up with my speed. The sky was gradually darkening, and apart from the beach, the deserted island was covered with low bushes, giving it a somewhat eerie atmosphere. Naturally frightened, Xu Xiaorong quickened her pace, anxiously calling out from behind, "Slow down, wait for me!"

Hearing the sound of her about to cry again, my heart softened a bit. It seemed pointless to argue with a woman, so I decided to slow down and wait for her. However, at that moment, I suddenly noticed a raised sand mound on the beach, revealing a portion of denim pants. Excited, I wondered if there were other people buried underneath.

I quickened my pace and rushed over in three or four steps. Seeing this, Xu Xiaorong also ran faster. However, in her haste, she tripped and fell on the ground, sitting there and wiping away tears.

Hearing the commotion behind me, I turned around and was stunned. Xu Xiaorong was wearing my shirt on her upper body, and her lower body was wrapped in a piece of tattered cloth. With this fall, that piece of cloth somehow came off. She sat on the ground in pain, completely unaware that she had exposed herself. Smooth, tender thighs and the indescribable parts were all laid bare in front of me. This was indeed a unique view on the deserted island, and the scene left me somewhat stupefied, involuntarily raising a tent.
