23.Qianyi's Heart

Suddenly, a hot and tender body threw itself into my arms. Fiery red lips pressed against mine, and the wet and slippery little tongue teased inside my mouth.

Confronted with the passion from the other side, I naturally couldn't help but respond. We passionately kissed each other, and my hands instinctively reached towards the well-pressed chest.

Feeling soft and smooth, the touch was absolutely wonderful.

Amidst the desire, a familiar woman's fragrance hit me. I quickly snapped out of the half-dreamy state and became completely awake.

This familiar woman's scent made me immediately guess the identity of the other person.

The girl passionately kissing me in the middle of the night was not Su Jie; it was Qianyi!

Thinking that Qianyi had betrayed me, and now she came to be affectionate with me, I felt a surge of anger. The desire diminished considerably, and I pushed her away in one go.

"What are you doing?" I said in a low voice, sounding somewhat unfriendly.

"Xiongwei Gege, you know, I've never been able to let go of you. I..." Qianyi shouted with a teary voice.

"Can't let go of me? I didn't notice that these past two days." I said indifferently. My disappointment with her had grown even deeper after her performance on the beach yesterday. Qianyi's tears at the moment were just like crocodile tears. Now she cried sadly, but during the day, she would still throw herself into Huyijian's arms.

A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

In the darkness, her low crying sounded.

However, I remained unmoved. I knew her too well. Qianyi's crying was her weapon; her tears were just crocodile tears. Now she cried sorrowfully, but during the day, she would still throw herself into Huyijian's arms.

Did she have feelings for me?

Certainly, she did. However, for her, wealth and vanity were more important than feelings.

I estimated that in Qianyi's heart, she thought like this: she should have two husbands, one to make money for her, satisfying her material needs, like Huyijian, and one to fulfill her spiritual needs, someone she likes, like me.

"It's my fault; I can't give you what you want. You'd better stay with Huyijian honestly. Otherwise, if he finds out, you'll end up with nothing." I calmly said.

Hearing my words, her crying stopped. I heard faint rustling sounds, probably indicating that she had returned to Huyijian.

When Qianyi chose to leave me and follow Huyijian, I once swore in a fit of anger that I would achieve success in the future, surpass Huyijian, and make Qianyi regret it.

Now thinking about it, I felt it was quite naive at the time. Did she regret it or not had nothing to do with me? A woman like her wasn't worth my concern. Although, now I vaguely felt that because of this deserted island, the oath I made back then might actually come true very soon. There was definitely something strange on this deserted island, and leaving here wasn't going to be as easy as it seemed.

Outside, relying on his family background, Huyijian might be challenging to surpass. It might take many years, or perhaps it would be nearly impossible. However, here on this island, Huyijian and I were not on the same level. He was useless, while I was the man destined to become the king!
