As the train goes by different sections of the city into countless towns at a speed not yet attainable in my old world.
I have my eyes set on the transparent blue screen before me.

I pressed my finger on the new class tab that appeared on my status screen.

I roll back my eyes and rest my head on the glass window.
First, there were the points, now an experience mechanic.
This damned system just loves making me work to the bone.
As I gaze at the buildings that go by at hyper-speed.
There was a sigh that left my mouth once again.
"I want to smoke,"
I utter to myself accompanied by a tired gaze as I peer through the glass window.
My eyes slowly closed as there was still some fatigue left in my body.
But the rumbling glass offered no comfort.

Throughout the trip, my weary body failed to rest.

"We have arrived at Santos De Ellen,"
The same robotic voice rang within the train.
I hurriedly got up and left the train, thankfully because I was a student of the academy all rides were free.
Now the only problem is how am I going to get through the main gate?
After last time, they warned me that I'm not allowed to go back there ever again, and even if they didn't, right now I am wearing nothing but a simple black shirt with blue jeans.
Without any armor, as a civilian or student asking to enter an area with monsters?
No one in their right mind would allow it.
But thankfully this is a chance to test one of my skills.
Before walking through the trail leading up to the high walls.
I activated my skill, [Discreet Steps]
As I take a step onto the trail, no sound came out as my foot touched the rocky road.
The beating of my heart echoed in silence, my breathing was hushed, my very existence was faint.
It took a little bit of getting used to but nevertheless, I marched forward.
After a bit of walking, my eyes finally met the tall walls I'd seen before.
I diverged from the trail and hid behind a tree near the gate.
I utter a silent chuckle as I see the same guards but with huge contrast from before.
They were chatting with each other, one of them yawned and some of them were playing poker.
The skill proved very effective, that not even a C-Tier Hunter can detect me.
I patiently stood behind the tree waiting for an opportunity to sneak by.
They might not hear me but they certainly can see me if I'm not careful.
Suddenly a guard screamed,
"Damn you, Matthew! You were cheating!"
"Nah, Carl, you just suck,"
The sudden distraction occupied the attention of the guards.
I hurriedly sprinted toward the main gate.
I ran as fast as I could and sure enough.
LET'S GO
I inwardly shout in my mind.
I managed to pass through the main gate undetected.
After running for a while, I was finally at a sufficient distance away from the main gate.
I sat beside a tree to take a breather.
With my back against it, I figured this would be a good time to test another one of my skills.
I activated the skill [Companion of Crows].
Soon after, a shadow started materializing in front of me.
Soon it started to take shape, the first was the legs, soon the wings and its dark feathers, and lastly, the beak and its eyes.
They flew immediately towards me, one rested on my hand, on my shoulder, and the last on my head.
They were the 3 crowketeers,
I utter a small chuckle to laugh at how terrible my joke was.
I should probably name these guys.
I pointed my finger at the one resting on my hand.
'You shall be, Mcfly"
Then the one on my shoulder.
"Oh, you're a girl?, then I'll call you Maggie,"
And lastly the one on my head.
"And you shall be called Cotton,"
They all seemed to be happy as I gave them each a name.
I caressed Mcfly for a solid minute or two.
After feeling satisfied, I carefully stood up.
As Maggie and Mcfly, perched on my shoulder and cotton on my head.
I took my beretta and steel dagger out of my bracelet.
"Alright, boys, let's get to work"
All of them left my body and were now hovering in front of me.
"Look around the forest for any signs of forest wolves,"
Without a second to waste they all flew in different directions.
And now, we wait.
