"ARGHH!"

The arm of a man fell to the ground,

They were mere thugs who couldn't use their auras properly, let alone coat their bodies with it.

My blade and steel cleaved through them like butter.

In a flash, four fell, their guts lay on the ground.

"Fu-FUCK!, RUN"

3 of the men remaining started to run,

I stored my sword back into my mark.

And reached for my gun,

I aimed at the men and pulled the trigger.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

3 silent leads flew through the air.

*SPLAT* *SPLAT*

"AHHH!,"

Tsk,

Two of the men instantly fell to the ground after being shot in the head.

While the other tripped after being hit in the shoulder.

I slowly walked towards him, as he suffered in pain.

"F*CK!,"

He was cursing loudly as his shoulder bled,

But soon, he heard my steps inching ever so closer, he then immediately turned around.

He looked into my eyes, fear apparent in his.

"Plea-"

*BANG*

No mercy apparent in mine.

[You have gained 2,420 XP]

The alley was filled with death, and once again I was drenched in blood.

Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.

I took my bracelet from my pocket and changed my clothes,

While my crows were, let's just say,

They were eating the evidence.

I still can't get used to it,

I looked away and slowly got out of the alley.

While my legs soon went quiet.

The murmurs about what I did in the slave market soon started to disappear.

And class started to return back to normal.

Reynold finally got to be friends with Xayah, Oliver, and Gwen after the incident in the Battle Building.

The plot was now progressing, yet I'd been looking closely at Wyatt, but he still wasn't asking Xayah.

I do not know specifically when he would decide to go,

So all I can do now is wait.

Days soon passed by,

The mundane routine of going to class, fighting in practice combat, and going to the slums to sharpen my skills made me impatient.

How long would I have to keep waiting?

Every day my heart is burdened every time I hung out with Wyatt, Mark, and Kyle.

I keep reminding myself what he would do in the future,

In order to not falter,

I have to do it in order to survive,

But it's already been a week, and there is still nothing.

It was currently Friday, again.

I finally reached 5000 XP, on my art.

Though the feeling of killing a person still left a sour taste in my mouth even though they were evil.

Because in the end, they were still living breathing people.

Just like me.

But I have no other choice.

"Alright Class, that is all for today, see you next week again,"

The class soon ended, and there were still no signs from Wyatt.

A sigh left my mouth.

Mark and Kyle soon approached me inviting me to join them at the Arcade.

I was about to accept but then I saw Wyatt,

He was sitting alone in his chair, not moving an inch.

"Yo, Kyle?"

"Yeah, man?"

"What's going on with Wyatt?"

"Oh? I actually don't know, he's been acting weird lately"

"Yeah, barely talked all day,"

Mark had concern in his eyes.

While mine went dull.

It's finally time huh?

"Anyways, you gonna come?"

"Nah man, next week, I promise,"

Kyle soon left a sigh and they both left the class.

My eyes dart back to Wyatt.

As he sat quietly in his chair, he soon stood up.

He slowly walked towards Xayah who was talking with Gwen.

"Hey Xayah,"

"Yeap?"

"Mr. Valiant was asking for you in the greenhouse,"

"He said he need some help with elven plants,"

"Sure, I'll be there in a sec,"

I got up from my chair and left the class.

My eyes were full of resolve.

It's finally here,

The first tragic event I would need to avert.

I made my way to the greenhouse,

And waited on the path toward it.

A few seconds later, I saw Wyatt.

I activated my skill and my existence went faint, he didn't notice me as he walked and headed for the building.

Soon, from a distance, I could see Xayah talking with Reynold.

I let my breathing be heard again and stood in front of them.

"Ah, hello?" Xayah asked me as I block their path.

"Oh? Are you Xayah?" I asked while acting like a normal student.

"Yep, that's me,"

"Mr. Valiant just ordered me to tell you that he'll no longer need your help,"

"Oh, he did?"

"Well, should we grab lunch with Gwen, Rey?"

"I don't have any money though,"

"Don't worry, I'll treat ya,"

"Really!?"

Reynold looked at Xayah like a puppy.

I cringed inwardly but Xayah just smiled at him.

They soon started to walk back to the way they came,

As their figures got smaller, I turned back and made my way to the greenhouse.

I reached into my chest,

My legs became quiet once again.
