Resolution (3)

After changing my uniform from the spare clothes I had in my bracelet.

I donned the mask and hid my bracelet inside my pocket.

I then checked my gun and the magazines I had left.

There were only 2 magazines remaining.

But if I shot before he activates his aura,

I would win,

The greenhouse was located on the northeast side of the academy.

It was a building covered with trees and different plants on display.

Since it was almost night most of the staff were already home.

And the people that did manage the greenhouse were probably bribed by Wyatt by now.

Everything was perfect,

I've prepared enough,

The thorns in my heart grew sharper.

But I shook them off and with soundless steps, I marched forth.

Gun on my right, dagger on my left.

Mask on my face, a black jacket on my body, and gloves covering my hands.

I steeled my resolve.

I made my way toward the rocky path leading outside the building.

Soon trees lay apparent on the side, and as I walk further on the path.

A building could be seen in the middle of the trees.

I slowly turned the handle.

The figure of a tall man could be seen as I enter.

His long black hair stretched all the way to his shoulders, his eyes were gazing upon the moon through the window on the roof.

I took a deep breath and aimed my gun at his head.

My finger was on the trigger, yet my gun was shaking.

I was breathing heavily,

I have to calm down,

Remind yourself,

Your family, your friends.

You have to see them again.

As I remember my motivations,

The gun was now still, my mind was now clear, and my resolve was now fierce.

Wyatt must die.

*BANG*

A silent bullet flew through the air, in a quiet flash it approached Wyatt at a terrifying speed.

*CLANG*

WHAT!?

My eyes shook,

Wyatt was able to parry the bullet with his sword.

"Wh-who are you?"

His silver eyes soon gaze upon me, as I got a clearer look at it through the mask.

They were shaking.

I gained my composure and in a second I was now in front of him.

I swung my dagger, with full intention to slit his throat.

*CLANG*

But in an instant, a violet aura covered his entire body, my steel blade wasn't able to pierce through.

I hurriedly blinked away,

Damn it,

I lost the element of surprise, this is really bad.

"Wh-why are you doing this to me?"

"I-I don't want to fight you,"

Wyatt's sword was shaking as he pointed at me.

I inwardly curse,

I completely look like the villain here,

My morality was causing hesitation in my mind.

I can't falter now,

[Mind of the Murderer has been activated]

My mind and body soon became to harmonize towards a singular goal.

Make Wyatt bend to his knees.

Soon the life inside my eyes disappeared.

I aimed my gun at Wyatt.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

3 bullets flew in the air,

Wyatt hurriedly blocked them with his sword.

As he blocked, I teleported from behind and put all of my strength on my leg.

It merely staggered him, but that was enough to weaken his control.

I then aimed my gun behind him.

*BANG*

He was able to dodge to the side and it merely grazed his shoulder.

He quickly turned around and swung his sword.

I could feel the strength behind it, but all it was able to cut was air.

I blinked at his side and at this close, he wouldn't be able to block my bullets.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

I shot three bullets consecutively but this time at the same spot.

The first was merely blocked, the second uttered a crack, but the third.

It completely broke through.

"ARGHH!,"

He fell to his knees while clutching his hand at his side.

His sword fell to the ground,

And life came back to my eyes.

As I approach him, he was looking at me, his silver eyes were gazing at my mask.

"Wh-who are you?"

I was taken aback, tears was starting to well up in his eyes.

Damn it, I could've just set the goal to kill Wyatt on my skill but my curiosity hindered me.

"Why Wyatt?"

"Why were you planning to brutally r*pe Xayah?"

His eyes shook, his head broke from my gaze as he stare at the window above.

"You were her bodyguard huh?"

I didn't bother to answer as I look at the pitiful sight.

As his eyes stare at the moon,

With a solemn voice and a broken will.

He soon opened his mouth.

"I'm not the only person in my soul,"

What?
