Resolution

As I enter my dorm, I lay my body on the bed.

While I stare at the ceiling, the faint fan of the AC softens my ears.

Left with my thoughts, I started to think.

Do I really need to kill Wyatt Greywolf?

I've been interacting with him for quite a while now.

And I know,

He sees me as a friend, someone he trusts, and I could feel the remorse he had when he almost choked me to death.

He reminded me of my friend back on Earth,

They were both good-looking, talented, and gifted but never let you feel that he is better than you.

My heart felt like there was a barb of thorns inside.

As Mark and Kyle would be devasted seeing their friend die.

But I know,

That I cannot survive this world if I don't kill him.

I could try to find another way but time is ticking.

Sooner or later, he would enact his plan.

I've prepared enough,

I can't falter now.

I slowly close my eyes, the comfort of the bed made my mind creep into slumber.

*****

"You don't belong here!"

"You're kind is a disgrace"

Why is this happening to me?

Why are they doing this to me?

What did I do?

My tears started dropping to the paper.

Their words cut through me like a knife.

"You should use that tail of yours to choke yourself, honestly, what makes your kind have the right to disturb the dead?"

"I-I'm sorry"

"Did you know?"

"My dad died a noble death protecting this city,"

"Then, instead of a proper burial, you took his body, TURNED HIM INTO A PILE OF BONES, SAYING HE WOULD PROTECT MORE PEOPLE THIS WAY,"

"YOU'RE KIND WON'T EVEN LET MY FATHER REST,"

They dragged my black hair making me fall from the bench.

People were walking by not giving any glance at me.

Those who did look simply uttered a small smile.

She raised her hand up in the air.

My face tensed up,

I only wanted to read a book.

I close my eyes anticipating her hand.

*PLOMP*

But instead, I heard a sound.

When I opened my eyes, I saw a white fluid dripping from her hair.

The stench made my other hand cover my nose.

"EWWWWWWWW"

More came down covering the other girls.

They soon let go of my hair and ran to the bathroom.

But the white fluid followed them making each and every part of their face wrapped in that horrible stench.

I look up at the sky, a small figure of a bird could be seen.

As I got a clearer look, its feathers, and fur were black,

A crow?

But then I felt it.

It can't be, it-its a summon?

I know this feeling, it is the same thing I could feel whenever I summoned the dead to fight for me.

But the crow isn't made from bones, and I can't feel the mana of our kind emanating from it.

I hurriedly look around,

Who?

Who helped me?

*****

My eyes slowly opened, It was the dead of night.

As I stare at the ceiling of my room.

My mind is clear,

It doesn't matter that right now he is a good person,

It doesn't matter that he thinks of me as a friend.

For my survival,

I have to get rid of him.

[A Side Mission has been created]

[Kill Wyatt Greywolf]

It seems, the system responded to my calling.

I stood up from my bed and made my way outside my room.

My legs soon went quiet, and my mind started thinking.

I can't kill him inside his room,

The noble's dorm is located inside a separate building.

Filled with cameras and guards as strong as the instructors.

My best bet is when he goes inside the greenhouse.

Now, I need to sharpen my skills.

With that in mind, I teleported through the front gate of the academy.

I made my way through the slums, wearing nothing but a black shirt and blue trousers.

There were a lot of homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk, and the dark alleyways full of shady men.

I soon deactivated my skill and my breathing became loud.

As I walk through the street, I can feel numerous eyes staring at my back.

Knowing this I walked through an alleyway.

And at the moment I did,

"HEY!"

I look behind me and there were 10 men, some of them wielding swords, and some had clubs.

They all then coated their weapons with auras.

A myriad of colors soon lay before me.

4 of them had grey, 3 yellow, 2 green, and the last one in the middle had blue.

The man in the middle soon spoke,

"Didn't your mother used to tell you not to wander around at night?"

"Anyways, kid, you know the drill, give up your bells and we'll kindly let you-"

In a flash, I blinked right in front of him and slit his throat.

He dropped his sword to the ground in an attempt to cover his bleeding neck.

Blood kept gushing forth and soon he met his maker.

"KILL HIM!"

The man beside him shouted and swung his sword at me,

Slow,

I dodged to the side letting the sword pass through me,

But,

*THUMP*

I felt a heavy club hit my back,

I stumbled forth but I quickly regained my footing.

I quickly reached the inside of my mark to grab my sword.

As I look around, they were about to surround me, their blades and club rushing in from all sides.

"WHAT!?

But what they hit was merely an afterimage.

From behind I swung my steel.

In a single swing, two heads fell.

"This f*cker has a blue aura!"

With a black dagger on my left, and a blue steel on my right.

I met them head-on,
