"I'm Vita." The young girl which looks two or three older than his maid started talking and everyone on the roof could sense her nervousness, "I'm originally from the Capital and one day my mother started packing our belongings before we left Specter City in a hurry.
"Mom said that we're going to Shivering-Peak City in the Cold-Moon Prefecture but the caravan was attacked during the night and mother disappeared.
"The following night we happened on a battalion of the Specter Army which was chasing a group of Bandits in that area and they escorted us to Crescent Lake City.
"The official report of the search party was that mother's body was never discovered among the dead and I was told that she was kidnapped.
"I ended up being alone in a foreign City with none by my side and wandered the streets for days hoping to find any group of headhunters, adventurers, or explorers who'd agree to help me search for my mother.
"Then naively followed the scammers into a dark alley where they beat me up half to death before taking everything I had on me, even my clothes!
"I thought I'd die there in that alley but one day later I gathered my strength and crawled my way out to the light.
"Begging the streets didn't help and my hunger kept intensifying until I understood that I'm really going to die if I don't eat something.
"Since walking all the way out of the City to search for something which doesn't belong to others was practically impossible, I stalked the baker's place and stole a block of bread then limped away as if my life itself depended on it.
"Heh... I cried while eating that block because it tasted so good even now it still lingers in my mouth!
"But I never felt so pathetic, weak, and ashamed of myself.
"Of course some honest and good-hearted kid witnessed my sorry act and reported me to the City-Guards and I was caught right when I finished eating the whole brick.
"I remember feeling so thirsty while the captain kept scolding me for being a "Pathetic" little thief who's going to lose her hand.
"But once I got presented to the officials so that they can deliver their judgement I choose to join the Specter Army and Keep my hand while smiling at the captain.
"Damn I never felt so vindicated in my life! But I was helpless to do anything.
"I was stuck in the Specter Army and couldn't leave to search for my mother unless I'm promoted to a high-ranking." Vita stopped and looked at the Pitch-Black Wasp which is her ticket to actually starting what she couldn't do four years ago.
Aaron nodded before giving the young girl the same choice and either to leave or to stay is her decision, "Pick a side." He said.
Vita hesitated after taking a step towards the Wasp before asking : "Can I return in the future?"
"You can," The kid answered before adding : "But who knows what the future is hiding in its folds for all of us!" Then shrugged while drinking another bottle of Sunset Dew.
"Then I'm coming back with my mother or on my own." The young girl kneeled before adding : "Young master Ron. I-I'll never forget this kindness, I'm going to return for sure and pay this kindness a hundred no! A thousand-times over with honest hard work, I'll make all of these guys look bad serving you." Vita lowered her head before looking at the 10 soldiers standing on the other side of the table enviously.
Aaron dismissed Vita with a lazy gesture of his hand while tossing his Antique Velvet Cape to her before saying : "This ought to be enough to shield your skin and bones from this rain, go before you make these guys laugh to death."
Vita blushed once she saw the men and women look at her with smiles on their faces, wave her goodbye, or inaudibly mutter their well wishes.
The young girl wore the Cape and pulled the hood over her head then awkwardly climbed on top of the Pitch-Black Wasp and for a while there it looked like she's going to fall from the sky!
But she got the hang of leading the Black-Guard in the right direction and what to do to control its flying speed unlike Sino which had an amazing manipulation skills which didn't require him to even try with his mount.
'It seems I'm lacking in charisma, I didn't get a perfect streak in the end everything went to deception and nitty-gritty drama!'

*Sigh*
"Don't feel bad young master Ron. I'm sure little sister Vita is going to come back soon!" Aria said once she saw the kid release a sigh while shaking his head then stare at the sky which was pouring heavy rain.
Despite the nasty conditions Tylus and his men were hard at work and hammering down the final corner of his roof, meanwhile below near the walls the people from the other 3 Villages were delighted after the Portal was active and started to return home after spending the last hour successfully trading in the market.
Now there's citizens of Pine-Breeze Village within the crowd waiting to use this wonderful transportation method for fun or to do the same and visit the markets of the 3 other Villages!
Of course Aaron looked at this courageous woman then rolled his eyes because he doesn't even care about Sino and Vita at all.
He was just bored since he doesn't have anything else to do with his days other than to eat tons of food, sleep many times for short durations, help Mr Smith, attempt beating grandpa Sid's trial, have some sparring with them, then collect experience to Level-UP.
As much as he wants to storm his way into the Dark-Abyss and find that shitty Darkness-Emissary then burn him at the stake if it really comes to it.
He understands that even while relying on the amazing Buff of the Emphatic Resonance Skill which he can benefit from for an hour... He doesn't know if that's going to be enough time for him to get the job done.
Also he doesn't know if it'd backfire against him if he decided to go guns blazing into the Dark-Abyss!
Who knows? He might end up warning that so-called Darkness-Emissary of his existence which ends up speeding things and attracting the attention of the so-called Higher Echelons.
He also might end up alerting the Darkness-Emissary that he's targeting him which makes them hide until the duration of 20 days are over.
Aaron ends up losing 10 Levels and 150 Ability Points forever isn't a slap on the wrist, who knows if that would affect the Skills which he maximized once he gained those Levels.
That would certainly cripple him.
'Imagine losing Teleport! That ought to fuck up my days and scatter my invincible image down the drain. I better go Level-UP.' The kid thought before deactivating Sublunar Portal then gesturing for his 1 Military Advisor and 9 Personal-Guards to come.
"Each of you get a Gold-Guard while Gilmore gets a Silver-Guard since he's no longer one of my Guards." Aaron said before ordering the 6 Gold Royal-Guards to come down from the nests which they lodged themselves into within the Erebus-Wood roof, "Three of you can take Silver-Guards for now until Lucy, Heena, and Nina return the ones you're going to be riding in the future."
"Yay!"
"Hahaha... Awesome! Now I can bash more skulls much easier!"
"This one is mine!"
"Is it alright for us to take them?"
Unlike Aria, Gri, and Ilfia before her which were running towards the Gold-Guards as if in a race! Rusty warily probed with a question.
The kid raised an eyebrow while looking at her timid behavior before inquiring with confusion all-over his face : "Are you afraid of heights maybe?"
"No, no, no. Nothing like that!" Rusty waved her hands to deny it before adding : "It's just that the group leaders should be the ones to receive such valuable mounts, that's all."
Aaron smirked before saying : "You overthink things, these guys are better than that." Then he took Paws and climbed on top of Nephrite's back before saying : "Let's go have some fun."
Seconds later Pio and Lucas were down below on the first-floor of the kid's house taking shelter with some of their soldiers from the rain but all of them looked up once they heard the buzzing noise of the transparent and delicate-looking yet strong, fast, and durable wings sharply cutting the air above.
Seeing Aaron and his 10 followers flying Northwest towards the curving point of the canyon which leads a bit deeper into the Dark Forest.
*Sigh*
"I feel sick! Man... I feel sick! I'm supposed to be up there right next to young master Ron not these lucky bastards, me!" Pio whined with tearful eyes.
Lucas nodded in agreement before looking towards the gates of the house and wondered aloud : "Why didn't Sherry and the rest return when young master Ron's mystical doors were open?"
"I was too busy feeling sick to even notice tha-... Ouch! Young master Ron was being really heavy-handed back then." The man winced from pain and massaged his ribs while complaining.
"You're not sick my friend, you're in pain. But imagine my pain when I know that he entrusted an idiot like you with the basement key of all people!" His companion patted him on the shoulder before heading towards the swimming pool while shouting : "Flora! you better not be in the water when I get there! Time to get you back home before you really get sick."
"I'm the one who's sick you heartless bastard, take the key and shove it in your basement." Pio muttered before dragging his feet towards the kitchen area where the warmth of his partner is waiting for him, but he really had no intention of giving the key to anybody and would protect it with his life if he has to.
The soldiers who heard the conversation between the two group leaders were smiling from amusement then started to talk near the fireplace while enjoying their drinks.
An hour or so later when the Portal was activated once again Cassandra, old man Vogen and their big crew of workers returned with the group leaders and their soldiers which were carrying lots and lots of wooden chests.
The people waiting to use the Portals from the 3 Villages were complaining to the Guards and the ones collecting the transportation fees that it's taking too long and they're not respecting their loyal customers!
Rhinne and Aeona didn't know what to say to reply to these demanding customers who'd usually spend the whole day travelling to the nearest Village but here they're complaining despite visiting 3 different Villages in less than 4 hours.
The Bow-woman just glared at these ingrates and snorted then went back to the boy's house while Aeona felt obligated to calm the masses with a few words.
Sherry stormed her way into the kitchen and frowned once she saw Pio flirting with Betty in some dark corner then snatched him from his woman by the ear and dragged him towards the basement.
The soldiers had to spend more than an hour tidying the boxes and waiting for Pio to make a list of the numbers within each box while having his soldiers count each one!
'Damn! Young master Ron really knows how to make money!'
