While Pio and Lucas were talking about Aaron, he was flying one hundred meters or so in the air thanks to Sera who took him towards the location where the abandoned Ancient-Well used to be.

"Why did you bring me back to this place? You're not planning to do that to me, are you? If it's because I asked you to do me a favor earlier today then you can just forget all about it. There's no need to go that far! There's still a chance for us to be friends, you know." Aaron ranted on and on while making sure to hold on tightly to Sera's wrist with his free hand.

"If I really wanted to drop you then I would've done so long ago, at least then I wouldn't have to listen to all your nonsense." Sera glanced at Aaron before adding while showing her frustration : "Now let go of me, I'm starting to lose my grip because you're squeezing my arm so hard."

"Oh!" Aaron noticed that he got so nervous in this weird situation to the degree where he wasn't even aware of how he's making things worse for himself instead, "My bad." He let go and choose to trust the beauty but he felt the need to ask : "Why are we here?"

Sera looked at the area one hundred meters below them which was once land where a forest thrived, now it's like a small lake where murky-green water is all that remained.

"There's "something" below this place. That's the main reason why Nina, me, and my two sisters were sent to this village." She said while squinting her eyes.

"Something! What something? What's with all the mystery? Just tell me, I promise I can take it." Aaron frowned before rolling his eyes at the woman while continuing to say : "You're like a superhero already and you're able to fly in the air! Please, that's more than enough glitter to your score on the awesomeness ranking." He noticed a shallow hint of a smile on the corner of her mouth, the beauty even adjusted her way of carrying him and Aaron could immediately notice how Sera held him a lot closer to her body.

'At least in this position I'd be able to wrap my legs around her waist if she's unable to carry me anymore or loses her grip on my body for any reason.'

"In the report of our mission there was doubts of the existence of a creature around the area surrounding this Village, such creature could cause mass destruction on its own to the surrounding Villages and severe damage to even the most well-defended Town nearby. The scale of destruction it could deliver is equal to a Minor-Scale Beast-Wave, but what makes it tricky is its ability to maneuver and traverse the terrain to hide itself when the situation requires it to do so." Sera explained while looking at the lake below them and slowly circled in the air while maintaining a certain altitude.

"Then we better get ourselves the hell out of here before that fucker finds us sniffing around in its territory!" Aaron immediately circled his arm around the woman's willowy waist and clung closely to her body while urging her to take him away.

She frowned when the kid intimately stuck to her without her consent, "Tsk. Me and my sisters searched everywhere for that sly Bug but it kept hiding itself from us, I've personally inspected that abandoned Ancient-Well a few times and found nothing at all. Not even a trace existed despite our efforts until we met you." Sera looked down at Aaron and smiled when she saw him becoming so anxious and on guard once he received her gaze.

He fidgeted and she could feel his body shiver when it happened since he's practically hugging her by the waist.

Aaron immediately defended himself by saying : "What does that has got to do with me? I'm innocent! I swear I don't know anything about it at all. Just remember that we can solve all issues if we talk, just don't do anything reckless." He hugged her waist even tighter and shamelessly buried his head in her chest to show how far he's willing to go just to keep his life.

"I know." Sera nodded and gently ran her fingers through his hair when she said that.

"Really?" Aaron hesitantly looked up and felt awkward by the loving-gesture from the woman because he wasn't expecting it at all.

The beauty smirked once she sensed his mixture of emotions which varied from confusion to doubt to discomfort then back to relief, "That Bug isn't the type to show mercy once it targets a prey, not to mention that its the reason why you've received its Curse in the first place."

Aaron's eyes widened and he looked downwards towards the lake, "Are you telling me that somewhere down there below the murky-green filthy water of that disgusting-looking lake, there's this Bug-Creature which is the main reason why I've been afflicted by that Soul-Void Curse?" He asked.

"Yes. I was only able to pick up vague signals of its location after you helped me advance and reach a higher rank of Soul power, but once you guys demolished the Ancient-Well I was able to immediately locate that Bug. So it's all thanks to you that I can find it."

"Tell me where it is, I'll burn it with my Flame Orbs."

Seeing Aaron retrieve his wooden Staff and glare towards the lake with bloodshot eyes made Sera smile wide while shaking her head.

"I brought you with me because I need your help with something, and your little fire balls would only tickle that Bug because sometimes it hides itself so deep where Earth Fire could be found." She sounded amused when she said that but Sera didn't even notice that she was hugging Aaron with one of her arms, the woman was trying to prevent the kid from doing anything reckless.

"I'm willing to help. Just tell me what do you need me to do," Aaron nodded firmly before adding : "Is it really that formidable? What kind of bug is that creature exactly?"

Sera beamed with a smile, "Excellent. I want you to use your Ethereal-Lunacy Crystal to hide us, remember to do it only when I ask you to do it."

Aaron tilted his head to the side and frowned while saying : "Ethereal-Lunacy Crystal... What's that?" He was really confused because it's the first time hearing about this thing.

"Did you already forget about the "item" you took from Lucas?" She tapped him on the forehead lightly while smiling like a vixen.

"Oh! You mean the Confusion-Fragment." He leaned his head back to prevent this beauty from having her fun before continuing to say : "But that treasure is dangerous, it affects my emotions negatively."

Sera nodded to show her understanding before saying : "I know that, but I'm confident that you can resist the influence from the Ethereal-Lunacy Crystal if you focus on resisting its invasive force from manipulating your emotions. Your Soul is stronger than you think, just trust in your abilities and concentrate on isolating your mind."

Aaron shrugged before retrieving the wooden box that contains the Confusion-Fragment from his Inventory Space while saying : "Alright then, just tell me when and I'll make both of us disappear just like that." He opened the box and looked ready to take action when he added : "You still didn't provide me with any information related to our target, don't keep me in the dark. I need to be mentally prepared you know."

She smiled and shook her head once she noticed the kid's eyes shine with the glow of curiosity, there's also this fleeting glint of competitiveness deep within his gaze.

'That was probably anger! Or maybe I'm reading too much into this situation.' Sera thought before saying : "Since you're so eager to know about that Bug, why don't you attack that area over there with your strongest attack? Let's see if you're strong enough to attract its attention, after all you couldn't interest that sly Bug earlier... not even with all the mess that you guys caused over here!" She looked around at the lake which spans more than a mile in circumference and is still growing in size thanks to the hallowed terrain which the creature below is the main cause why it happened to begin with.

Thankfully the rate of increase in width isn't as fast as it was when the landslide began around the mouth of the abandoned Ancient-Well, it'd probably grow a couple hundred meters wider before it'd lose momentum all-together.

Otherwise the people of Pine-Breeze Village would've been warned by Sera and ordered to vacate immediately before this lake swallows them alongside the land they're living on.

"Deal." Aaron nodded before carefully twisting and shifting body which allows him to move much more comfortably when Sera is holding him from the back, "Bastard. How dare you afflict this daddy with a Curse? You know what day is today? It's judgement day! Hoe! Your ass is mine now! I'll fuck you up so bad, your own mother wouldn't even recognize you!"

While the kid was so absorbed in his own world and having a conversation with his imaginary enemy, the beauty was more focused on what he's doing and ignoring whatever obscenities that came out of his filthy mouth.

That didn't stop her from frowning deeply while struggling against the urge to drop him and let this boy take a dive in the filthy murky-green waters of this like because it somehow suits his personality better than anything right now!

The main reason why this woman didn't let go of Aaron was because this is the first time she got to watch him use his abilities, a rare opportunity to experience everything from an extremely close distance is rare and Sera knew well not to waste it no matter what.

In the beginning it seemed like the kid was activating his ability where he conjures two fire balls and the beauty didn't take it seriously because she was certain that nothing would happen once he releases them towards the target, the effect would be minimal at best and his attack would disappear after making some waves or ripples on the water of this newly-formed lake.

Aaron was holding the wooden Staff with both hands and pointing it towards the targeted area while focusing on channeling more of his Mana towards activating the Flame Orb Skill, every three seconds he would check the MP bar to see how many did he lose.

Before the blue spark appeared within the two Flame Orbs the consumption of his MP was 6 Mana Points per Sec, the consumption rate doubled after they appeared.

Which means every Second Aaron spent channeling the Flame Orb Skill actually equaled activating the Skill once!

'The consumption rate is frightening indeed.' He thought while taking note of every single detail of the whole process.

Nine seconds after he activated the Flame Orb Skill Aaron noticed another change, the blue spark actually became purple and the two Flame Orbs also changed color from orange-red and turned blue.

"So beautiful!" Sera murmured while struggling to withstand the scorching heatwaves from the two fire balls.

'It's consuming my Mana at triple the original rate of channeling, every second I keep feeding these two Flame Orbs costs me 24 Mana Points. Take it all baby! Let's keep this train moving as long as we can.' Aaron had to tighten his hold on the wooden Staff because it began to shake and became harder to keep it steady.

Seven seconds after the colors shifted within the Flame Orbs, Aaron and Sera noticed how the curved end of the wooden Staff caught fire and actually began to burn.

'Is he going to sacrifice his wooden Cane to execute this attack? Or is it a requirement for this ability to begin with?' Sera looked at Aaron and wondered before helping him steady his aim by holding the wooden Staff with his free hand.

Aaron didn't allow himself to be distracted by the state of his weapon and the degree of damage it receives, he focused on the MP bar which lost noticeable amount every second.

He still felt grateful towards the beauty because her help really matters in this situation, otherwise it'd be very embarrassing if his Flame Orbs ended up missing the target completely!

Eighteen seconds after activating the Flame Orb Skill, another change happened and this time it frightened both Aaron and Sera.

The size of the two Flame Orbs shrunk considerably by a whole third or so, and the spark in the center of each Orb shifted in color from purple to black while the Orbs color turned to a ghastly and dreadful purple color.

The consumption rate of his MP doubled once again and the intensity of the heatwaves they were subjected to was becoming especially unbearable.

The curved end of his wooden Staff was charred into ash almost immediately and the damage continued to travel downwards on the body of the wooden Staff towards Aaron and Sera's hands!

"Throw it! Quickly now!" Sera received a scare unlike any before and shouted for Aaron to do as she said, unaware that she said it all in a tone of voice which betrayed her worry and anxiousness but above all... the beauty sounded like she's pleading the kid.

Of course Aaron didn't need the woman to say anything because he wouldn't dare put his life at risk or intentionally do anything which might endanger his safety.

That's why he instantly willed the two purple Flame Orbs to practically fuck off!

"Time to eat sucker! Let's see how you like that meal," Aaron shouted at the top of his lungs, "Bitch!" Once he saw the Flame Orbs hit the water he added his final insult while feeling smug deep inside since his attitude had certain swag in it.

'I must've looked really cool.' He thought.

Right when he thought his role was over, Aaron heard Sera say : "Why aren't they exploding?"

He noticed that she's right once he saw the water around the area where the Flame Orbs fell began to swirl and pick up speed until a whirlpool was created, because the stem of the whirlpool was dancing and disorderly Aaron wasn't able to see the two purple Flame Orbs at all or how deep they traveled within the filthy water of this lake.

'Fuck! They're still consuming my Mana even after I released them.' Aaron almost fainted once he noticed that his MP bar was still shrinking by 48 every Second.

All it took was 23 seconds for this Flame Orb Skill to deplete his Mana bar almost completely just like that!

Another second trickled by and Aaron retrieved one bottle of Squeezed-Juice, opened the cap, then drank it without hesitation to refill a 100 points of his Mana.

The reason he did so because another second passed and all he had left was 34 points of Mana.

Not daring to wait and risk seeing what kind of effect might happen if he didn't have enough Mana to supply the need of these two purple Flame Orbs, Aaron retrieved another the final bottle of Squeezed-Juice within his Inventory Space and prepared himself to drink it while praying that he doesn't need to.

Unfortunately for the kid, two more seconds trickled by and he found himself lacking MP to supply the required consumption these gluttonous purple Fire Orbs requires!

"To hell with it!" He hissed before drinking the whole bottle under Sera's envious gaze.

She could sense the extremely high quality of that drink and pick up how benefitable it is, immediately once the kid opened the cap she almost instantly understood its use thanks to her sharp senses.

The quality of this juice is a bit less compared to the one Aaron used to help her advance, but the quantity is more than three times which means it could be shared by two or three of her Sisters.

While Sera planed how to take advantage of the kid in the future to help her organization surpass the competition, Aaron was about to lose his mind.

"You want to play? Fuck it. Let's play!" Aaron tossed the half burnt Beginner Magician's Wooden Staff aside and watched it fall towards the lake below after retrieving a knife and the final Lemon in his Consumables Inventory.

Without a shred of hesitation the kid cut the fruit in half and threw his head back before squeezing the two halves into his open mouth.

"Have you lost your mind?" Sera was frightened once she saw what he's doing, but she was a step too late because Aaron didn't allow her to interfere and tossed the pieces of the Lemon into his mouth and chewed hard to extract every drop from it!

"Stay away from this, there's a reason why I'm doing this but there's no time for me to explain anything right now." He said at a hurry before retrieving six Oranges from his Inventory.

Aaron spat the Lemon's flesh from his mouth because it'd be useless and no more than a waste of time if he actually forced himself to eat it in this situation, he stuffed two Oranges in Sera's hand then put three more in his pockets before cutting the one in his hand with the knife.

The beauty choose to trust the kid's judgement and closed her mouth shut, she watched him eat these six Oranges as fast as possible before spitting the peels then stuffing his mouth with more.

Sera wondered why he's being in such a hurry to the degree where he'd force these Oranges down his throat!

Right when the woman thought it was over, she saw Aaron retrieve a fine-looking plate with a transparent cover on top.

He removed the cover and used the white fork inside it to eat the colorful and green aromatic Salad, this time the woman couldn't help herself and snatched some for herself from the plate.

The kid didn't seem to mind, maybe because he's in a bit of a hurry, maybe because his mouth if full of food and he couldn't complain.

'This is of a much higher quality compared to the juice he used to help me advance, just how many more secrets does he have under wraps?' She thought while shamelessly using her hand to eat.

Once again she thought it was over when the plate was empty but Aaron surprised Sera when he tossed it aside and watched it fall towards the lake below for a second before retrieving another plate.

This time Aaron didn't need the extra fork and the beauty claimed it for herself.

'Forty-five seconds! It took me about twenty seconds to channel the Flame Orb Skill, yet it kept extorting Mana from me for twenty-five seconds after I've released it. This bloody Skill is ridiculous! That's too much of a cheat I'll nev-'

Aaron's thoughts were interrupted when the surface of the filthy murky-green water rose upwards in a dome shape before the center exploded upwards with a rumbling and deafening noise accompanied by a shockwave that swap the area upwards and sideways like an inflating bubble!

Sera was terrified by the aftereffects of the kid's ability and ascended towards the sky as fast as she could to escape getting drenched by this rising torrent, getting caught by this body of water would delay her reactions if the Bug below attacked them by surprise.

A split second later she heard the enraged roar from that Bug and could see its shadow gradually appearing when she looked below.

"Get ready to use the Ethereal-Lunacy Crystal." She said while watching the water lose its upward momentum and fall down towards the lake after reaching an altitude of one hundred and fifty meters or so in the air.

"Damn! That's ugliest Centipede I've seen in my life, this Bug is massive. What exactly did it eat to become so big?" Aaron felt his legs go soft once he finally got to see the creature for himself.

Maybe because categorizing this creature and attributing it to its relative kind from back on earth would be laughable, because him and the beauty actually are the "insects" in the eyes of this Centipede!

A rough estimation of the total length of its body would make it "at least" one hundred meters long, that's him being positive and not giving the creature fair measurements.

"This Poisonous Stone-Centipede feeds on other Beasts and relish on feasting on the essence of rare minerals from the depth between the layers of earth, thankfully it's a simpleton which makes it vulnerable to my Soul abilities." Sera said while retreating to widen the distance before them.

*Screech* *Hiss*

Once the Poisonous Stone-Centipede notice that the ones who dared provoke it were attempting to flee, it opened its mouth wide and waved its fangs before moving its countless tipped legs like oars on a ship which allowed it to swiftly move on top of water.

Dreadful-looking gas was discharged from countless holes on its exoskeleton which instantly coated its body with a thick fluffy-looking and extremely deadly green colored cloud!

"We're fucked if that cloud touches us! I'm so stupid, I really should've bought some of that All-Cure Potion when I had the chance." Aaron was on the brink of despair once he saw the green cloud surrounding the exaggeratedly-sized Centipede swell in size and cover at least fifty meters area around its already gigantic body.
