Skill-Tree Unlocked.
Aaron finally opened his eyes after falling asleep for about an hour or two, the first thing he saw was that notification window and the sky beyond it in a much brighter color.
The chirping of birds and the chill of dawn's wind pulled him from dreamland to the cold truth of reality, he dared to fall asleep in this foreign environment.
Stark naked and completely vulnerable! That was beyond calling it a stupid thing to do.
Aaron quickly surveyed his surroundings and choose a big tree with a lush mane of leaves then expertly climbed its branches until his small body was completely hidden.
Only then was he comfortable enough to check the available option on his avatar.
Once he accessed the Skill menu, Aaron was struggling to contain the feelings of excitement.
A split-second later, he was at a loss not knowing whether should he laugh or cry.
Simply because the Skill-Tree is mostly greyed-out except for the Novice's Skill-Branch!
'What was I expecting? It's not like I was promised more by this system.' Aaron thought to himself after giving himself a moment to think, 'So far it sounds fair to me, all I did was save myself by climbing that ancient-well. It was difficult, yes! I almost failed, absolutely. At least now I'm alive and free to go wherever I want, I gained some valuable experience, and now I'm able to use some skills if I wish to do so.'
He shook the negative thoughts away and focused on the skills currently available for him.
Only three of them exist actually.
Two of these Skills mainly require a weapon, one is for those who prefer to do combat at long-range while the other is for the courageous few who favor melee.
The third skill on the tree is the one which Aaron couldn't remove his eyes from its description.
Not only is it a ranged skill, it delivers magic-attack.
Energy Bolt Fire condensed Mana that explodes on contact with an enemy.
The moment he saw this Magic Skill, Aaron neglected the description of the other two Skills completely.
His logic was simple actually.
Long before he had to waste 6 Ability Points on the three attributes of Strength, Agility, and Vitality.
Intelligence and Wisdom had a clear advantage over the other three attributes, even now his Magic-attack is still superior to his Physical-Attack despite him distributing these 6 Ability Points between Vitality, Agility, and Strength without even touching neither attribute of Intelligence nor Wisdom!

Immediately he added a Skill Point to gain the Skill Energy Bolt before opening the window to check its details.
Energy Bolt Level 1 Mana Points Cost 16 Damage 157% of M/Attk Max Enemies Hit 4
'Holy shit. It's actually an area of effect skill!' He instantly had this urge of adding the other Skill Point to Energy Bolt but held himself back at the last minute, he only succeeded when he noticed two other Skills that share the same branch with Energy Bolt.
Both skills are currently available for him to unlock since he choose to unlock Energy Bolt, otherwise they would be kept hidden from him had he choose to unlock the long-range or melee skill instead!
Mana Points Boost Increases MP permanently and Increases MP proportional to host's level.
Aaron wet his lips before looking at the other skill.
Magic Guard Damage dealt affects host's MP instead of HP. If host's MP reaches 0, host's HP takes the full amount of damage.
"I want them both. I choose both! Give it here, now." Aaron glared at the window where his available Skill Points are shown.
These two Skills clearly compliment one another, yet here he's forced to choose only one! Just him having to make a decision is tearing him apart from the inside out.
Finally Aaron choose the skill of MP Boost since having the Skill of Magic Guard with his current MP bar would be laughable!
Mana Points Boost Level 1 Permanent MP Increase 50% Proportional MP Increase Current level * 25
"I made the right choice, my MP bar immediately increased from 142 to 238 just like that!" Aaron patted himself on the back once he saw the result.
However, once his eye fell on the new Skill that appeared on the Skill-Branch after he unlocked the Skill of MP Boost.
He was basically drooling!
Teleport Allows host to Teleport a set distance to other locations in the surrounding area.
"Damn! It's really freaking Teleportation, I'm not dreaming am I?" Aaron rubbed his eyes before confirming that it's actually true.

"Don't you dare take away that Teleport Skill, I'm calling dips on that one!" He glowered.
Once the Skill menu was available Aaron took a look and discovered that the window is much different compared to earlier, the long-range and melee Novice Skills are no more.
Now there's only Magic related skills available on this Skill-Tree!
System : Level Up.
After this system notification another window appeared in front of his eyes.
Level 1 Experience 0/100
"It feels like I'm in a game more and more, but the realism and the pain I felt when my toes got cut was-" The boy suddenly gawked once he noticed the wounds on his left foot, because the skin was healing at an amazing rate.
Aaron began to doubt if time is moving backwards instead of forward anymore!
Health Points 166/166 Mana Points 344/344 Physical Condition Sated , Normal Mental Condition A bit Dazed, Normal
"My HP bar is full and I even gained 20 HP for free! Meanwhile my MP skyrocketed all of a sudden." Aaron checked his Stats one by one and discovered changes to all Magic-related stats, "My M/Attk, M/Def, Concentration, MP Regeneration-Speed, and Concentration's Regeneration-Speed... all of them doubled compared to before I gained that Magician class! But none of these is comparable to these free points." He was excited because the level up rewarded him 5 Ability Points and 3 Skill Points.
Add to these facts how the Teleport Skill wasn't removed from the Skill-Tree.
"For fuck sake, give me a fucking break! Urghh..." The boy stomped his foot on the tree-branch to vent his frustration once he saw the details on the Teleport Skill.

Once again, Aaron found himself studying the details of another Skill.
Funny enough, said Skill requires him to unlock another Skill before he's able to level it up to level 5! Thankfully said Skill is one he had his eyes early on, Magic Guard.
"Judging by the amount I gained after getting that unexpected level up, I wouldn't be able to unlock that Teleport Skill until I'm level 3." He sighed before unlocking Magic Guard then added the remaining SP's to Unlock Mana Armor before raising the MP Boost Skill to level 2.
Aaron decided to add a SP to raise Energy Bolt Skill to level 2 once he gains another level up while adding the remaining two SP's to the Mana Armor Skill, that way once he reaches level 3 he would be able to meet the requirements of the Teleport Skill by simply adding two SP's to the Mana Armor Skill before using the remaining Skill Point to unlock the Teleport Skill.
Right when he was about to check the details of the two Skills that he just unlocked, the boy noticed a girl sneaking between the trees and heading towards the abandoned ancient-well.
Aaron had this strange sense of familiarity towards this teenage girl, it made him feel weird but he kept following her actions with his eyes in silence from where he hid.
The worry on her face and the tears that she kept wiping made the boy feel his chest tighten!
"Little rascal," Once she reached the ancient-well the girl stuck her head in and called, "Answer me... please." Her voice rang clearly in the early morning and she choked on her words in the end.
'Should I meet her or... should I keep to myself?' Aaron squinted his eyes for a while before deciding to reveal himself.
Simply because despite everything that's happened to him so far with the system and the whole package, he's not sure that he's able to survive on his own.
At least not yet.
"Ah! You startled me there you little rascal. Why are you naked? Where's your cloth?" A mixture of pure joy and relief appeared on her expression once she noticed Aaron walking towards her after climbing down the tree, "Yuck! You smell like turd, these cruel bastards really did throw you down the well eh. You need a proper bath I say, come with me." Before the boy got to say a single word she was already dragging him by the hand.
Aaron took advantage of the silent walk to check his skills instead of trying to say anything only to end up exposing himself.

'The percentage is a bit low but the MP cost and duration is acceptable at least.' He thought to himself while smiling widely, it felt good to have some method of protecting himself in this foreign environment.

'Honestly I'm not sure about this one, I guess I need to test it first before I make up my mind.' Aaron was confused about the reason why would this system give five Skills and two of these Skills would be defensive-skills.
He shrugged these thoughts and opened the detailed window of the MP Boost Skill next to see what improvements it got after being raised a level, but the boy almost cursed aloud instead.
'The permanent MP increase dropped from 50% to only 2%! Wtf is going on here? Shouldn't these things increase instead?' He felt like the System was playing a joke on him, honestly he dreaded the idea of experiencing the same thing with the rest of the Skills once he levels them up!
Thankfully his MP bar still increased noticeably since it went from 344 to 382.
His free AP's are still untouched.
Not to mention that it kind of made sense when he thought about it, having a Passive Skill with such a massive addition of percentage repetitively increasing his MP bar early on would break the balance.
Maybe he should be thankful to this System for allowing him a one time off!
'Life is good for now,' Aaron thought before sneering, 'Whoever did that to me better enjoy it to the max, because I'm in for blood this time. These fucktards almost drowned me in shit, and they're going to pay the price for it. Or I'm not worthy of being an Avenger! Fuck yeah I'm inevitable... I'm awesome that way bitches.'
