Chapter 66 : His Joy

Chapter 66 : His Joy

Dead Pine Marten : Adult, Male, Mutilated

"Just fucking say it's useless! This sly bastard had it coming after trying to ambush me in the woods. Humph." Aaron muttered before ignoring the creature which received the full brunt of the Trible-Stars Skill and got blown to bits after Astral-Detonation took effect.

"I guess the area is clear now for me to begin, but first I need to lure some of the Yellowjacket-Wasps here... hopefully not all of them all at once!" Afterwards he Teleported away from the area where his Mystique-Door is located and started cautiously stalking the Wasps while carefully looking for an opportunity to attract some of them to that destination.

'They move in a wave-like pattern and attacking them directly is out of the question unless I'm looking for a quick yet cruel exit to the afterlife... if there's any!' The kid maintained his distance and calmly watched the cloud of Wasps thanks to his improved vision, 'I need to do it in a subtle yet cleverly-disguised under a shroud of camouflage to make it look like it occurred naturally, but the only way possible for me to achieve it would be after I've found the sacrificial pawn in this plan.' Aaron silently left that area and went back to look for a creature which isn't going be too dangerous or hard for him to capture while being lively enough to attract the attention of these Wasps.

Red Squirrel : Adult, Male, Healthy

'Don't blame me big fellow, blame some of your cousins for trying to attack me earlier.

'You guys are four-times bigger than the ones I knew back on earth already.

'So... Losing one more of your kind doesn't seem like it's pushing you lot into being ranked as an endangered species!

'Plus... who the fuck gives a shit anymore!' The kid went around the area to confirm that nothing is going to interrupt his important business before Teleporting next to the Red Squirrel which received the scare of its lifetime.

Immediately afterwards he Stunned it with Lucid Nightmare and quickly flipped it on its back and started tying its legs while rudely pressing with force on its throat with one of his knees, which made its eyes pop out but during these long 9 Seconds of its life it couldn't even move at all.

*Scree-*

Once the creature which was more or less his size regained its freedom of movement after the duration of getting Stunned ran out, it struggled while attempting to voice its complaint against this clear mistreatment but Aaron pressed harder on its throat and continued to wrap it with layer after layer of rope which coiled around its neck and waist too!

When he finished... the poor Squirrel was already unconscious but he didn't care and calmly waited for the Cooldown of Lucid Nightmare to fall to Zero.

This is where Identify came to be helpful and he only had to wait a few seconds between each activation of the Skill, now he doesn't even feel like making the back and forth journey whenever Lucid Nightmare became unavailable for him to use!

During the 15 Seconds where he felt like he's blind, Aaron just made sure his back was taken care of by keeping one of the huge trees behind him and maintained the highest states of vigilance while staying ready to Teleport away a few times towards locations which he already memorized beforehand.

Once Lucid Nightmare was available for him he activated the scan domain and hugged the Squirrel while thinking : 'Let's hope this even works!' Then Teleported towards the Wasps but he didn't keep on Teleporting like he usually does and stopped to check on the condition of his captive which might be the only Red Squirrel in this Forest, possibly the whole world, to ever experience Teleporting!

'It's still breathing but it doesn't look too good.'

Red Squirrel : Adult, Male, Sick

'Stop overreacting System! It's just dizzy... Alright!' Aaron rolled his eyes before focusing on the mission, which is : Stalking the Yellowjacket Wasps.

'This is the moment of truth right here... Yuck! How dare you puke on me you little bastard?

'That's it! You're on your own buddy.' The kid was too focused on Teleporting and scanning the area looking for the perfect place to plant this sacrificial pawn, he didn't even care about the condition of his captive.

He grabbed the Red Squirrel by the scruff of its neck and could barely carry it with one arm despite being quite strong already!

'What do you guys even feed on in this world to grow so big and heavy?' Once Aaron Teleported to the crown of the highest tree he let go of it then Teleported about a 100 meters away to a nearby tree in the direction of his Mystique-Door and watched what happens next.

*Scree-*

The Red Squirrel actually regained consciousness when the cold air hit its face on the way down but its screech got smothered midway up its throat once it saw the cloud coming in its direction.

It flailed about and attempted to spread its natural version of a parachute to stop its downwards momentum but its legs were tied, so it helplessly spun in the air and bounced off a few branches along the way before hitting the ground.

'Please don't come here all of you, please don't come all at once, please let it be at most a quarter of the Wasps!' The kid stood there crossing his fingers trying to estimate how much of the total amount in that cloud was attracted by this underwhelming bait.

'That already looks more than a quarter, please let it be at most a third.

'Damn it! Fucking give me half then... I'm not taking any of that shit if it's over the limit.

'You can fucking look all you want, none is gonna carry that much heat!

*Screech*

'How the fuck is it still alive down there? This is ridiculous.' Aaron rolled his eyes once he heard the Red Squirrel's voice, it didn't sound like it's in pain or getting its ass stung to death by angry Wasps.

It kind of annoyed and amused him once he heard some of its snorting and barking but the buzzing noise was getting too loud once the Wasps really moved this way and he couldn't hear anything from the Squirrel anymore once he Teleported away once again for safety.

The funny thing was how these Wasps actually brought danger and safety in the same time!

The kid wouldn't have to worry about other creatures lurking anywhere around the area where this loud buzzing noise could be heard, now all he has to worry about is the Wasps and that's it.

But thankfully for him Wasp cloud separated into two different parts thanks to this bait.

Aaron waited until things calmed down for a minute before calculating how many Teleports it'd take him to reach the location where he set the destination for Mystique-Door, after preparing himself mentally for what to come he randomly activated Triple-Stars towards the cloud of Wasps before Teleporting away.

He kept targeting them with more Triple-Stars whenever he appeared before Teleporting once again.

In this manner the kid was able to guide them whenever he announced his location and they simply followed to chase the one which dares to provoke them.

*Crackle* *Buzz* *Squeak*

"Come forth my army of the dark." Aaron said before Teleporting away while removing the invisible barrier.

He stood 300 meters away and watched both sides tear into each other!

'Time to sacrifice another Wooden Staff!' He thought while staring at his weapon seriously, 'Meh. Just kidding... I was about to buy a better one anyway, after all I'm Level 6 now.' The kid smiled and shrugged before activating the Flame Orb Skill for probably the first time ever at night.

Aaron kept channeling it while watching the two armies fight, of course the Fuzzy Phosphorus Mice were at a disadvantage because the Wasps could fly and because they're much, much higher in number.

But the rodents gave it their all and tore each and every Wasp they could reach with their claws or pointy teeth.

Of course the fight wouldn't last forever and once the Mystique-Door disappears these Wasps are going to lose sight of the rodents outside the diagram on the other side where the massive cave is located, they'd also lose the Wasps which went ahead and entered Mystique-Door to fight behind enemy lines!

18 Seconds of Channeling and Aaron didn't even hesitate and launched the ghastly purple Flame Orbs towards the center of the Wasp cloud which kept spinning around the Mice entrapped and tightly squeezed somewhere close to the diagram.

"Time to beat it." Aaron immediately Teleported away twice because he doesn't even know if he's going to be safe 300 meters away from the center of the explosion.

*Boom* *Crack* *Creak* *Boom* *Crash*

The kid saw the purple mushroom cloud pierce the thick curtain of clouds in the sky and push them away before another cloud of dust covered everything and he didn't need to even wait to know what happens next.

He spammed Teleport until it left him on the verge of puking his guts out but what made him smile despite all of that nausea and dizziness was the System which kept sending him what seems like an endless stream of notification messages!

Of course the most comforting tones where the unique ones which he received only a few times so far.

System : Level-UP

These were the ones which made him stop caring about everything else and walk back to the Village with a spring in his step.

"Who's there?"

One of the Archers within the Archer-Tower noticed the kid before his team thanks to his sharper eyesight and nocked his Bow then took aim.

Just a minute or so earlier all of them saw the explosion that happened on the other side of the canyon and heard it clearly, it left all of them on full alert and Roger then some of his Elite team arrived on the walls and started asking what happened.

Of course these guards were actually a lot more annoyed by their presence not because these men and women were asking questions, but because most of them were practically half naked or barely covered at all while smelling like they were just swimming in sex not only participating in it!

Aaron raised his hands as if surrendering while announcing himself he walked slowly towards the walls, "Just me, no need to pay me any mind because..." Afterwards he dragged his words intentionally before Teleporting on top of the Archers-Tower before continuing to say : "I'll be out of your hair in a blink of an eye."

The Archer immediately retracted his draw and put the Arrow back in his Quiver while releasing a sigh of relief.

But the kid's next few words frightened every soldier on the walls, "You guys should be careful tonight because there's Yellowjacket Wasps out there in the forest," The kid frowned in the beginning once it seemed like nobody could understand what he means, "I'm in a good mood so I'll be patient and explain what I meant to you guys,

"They're bugs about this size which could fly.

"There's tens of thousands of them.

"Their backs are both black and yellow, but some of them have silver lines on their back.

"These nasty bastards are faster and bigger, a lot harder to kill too!

*Thud*

One of the guards fell on his knees from despair once he heard this detailed description from this boy, the soldier hugged his head and shrunk his body from fear while muttering : "They're coming! We're all going to die! I've seen these creatures eat my whole Village! The Doom-Cloud is here..."

"Shut the fuck up mate! How rude! I'm talking here, didn't you see me kill like half of them just now? Stop talking shit or I'm going to treat you like a Squirrel, I'm not kidding bro."

*Tsk*

"Now my good mode is ruined, meh... Here I was trying to be nice and all." Aaron clicked his tongue before muttering these words then he turned to walk away.

Leaving behind a group of guards and team captains gawking from shock after hearing what he just said, even the frightened soldier couldn't believe what he heard.

"I-is it true?" Finally one of the guards asked his captain.

"How the hell would I know? Let's just report what happened here to teacher Sen, I bet he'd send a few scouts to confirm everything at first daylight." The captain shrugged before adding : "Send someone to the other teams and have them stay on full alert tonight, warn them of the possibility of Doom Vespas around the area. They shouldn't provoke them if they can and get rid of them quickly if they can't because attracting more is just attracting more trouble for all of us."
