Now, as to the Edits. I had initially written that Calista was sent to this dungeon to retrieve two things: A sword, which she has in the first chapter, and a ring, which is only mentioned once in Chapter 10.

Upon reviewing my book, I have realized the ring has no bearing on the overall plot of the book and so I'm taking it out of the book entirely. I hope this doesn't cause too much confusion.

Any other edits, mistakes, grammar & punctuation errors, will be confronted and (hopefully) defeated whenever I get around to turning this into an eBook/Audiobook. Hopefully the process of completing the book here on Royal Road will give me enough XP to do so.

Now that those things are over with, I hope anyone who picks up this story enjoys it. If it's not for you, totally cool. I've been interested in writing a Game-Lit, Lit-RPG story for quite some time. Over the last four years, I've browsed the Lit-RPG subreddit quite a bit in search of what readers like, don't like, expect, and any other tropes they feel are worn out, overused, or just generally bad. So understand that this book was written after a lot of thought and consideration toward that end.

If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation.

Another thing that readers have mentioned is consequences. I can assure you that while Calista starts in an atypical "Virtual Reality" world where she can simply log out, things are not as they seem. I don't want to say more than that as it would give away the plot that will be revealed as the book progresses.

Finally, I want to say that in the process of writing this book and its successor, I've found that I've fallen in love with the characters and the world in which they inhabit. I am currently in the process of revising and finishing Book II and I really want to say that I think Book II will be even stronger than Book I. I've been reading a lot of feedback on here and I've also been browsing through some of the other fine stories here on Royal Road and I think Sable Unlimited will end up being a strong addition to the Game-Lit, Lit-RPG genre.
