She had returned to sitting cross-legged upon the light-blue stone. She had returned to the lower realm. Before Bliss, Ruby Red, who also sat cross-legged, opened her own eyes. The two women were still connected by their hands.

Is that what she wanted to show me? Bliss’s golden eyes were on Ruby Red. The tan-skinned woman smiled at her. She is in color in the lower realm now. I guess she improved her ability to manifest in lower realms. Bliss’s white bunny ears twitched at the sound of footsteps. That is right. Something is coming. She and Ruby Red separated their hands and rose to their feet. They both turned to face the passage whence the footsteps came. Whatever is coming, it is close. Bliss glanced down to her own hands.
