Heading into the restaurant, Alice and Alex were led to a table by the windows, where you could see the street.
Their waiter gave them a shallow bow and then gave them their menus.
"I still can't get used to people treating me like that" Alex mumbled as he watched the Waiter go away.
Alice simply shrugged her shoulders.
"You get used to it over time though it's not like I come to these kinds of places often, maybe once in a few years just so I can pretend to be human," Alice said as she put her chin on her hand and watched Alex look through the menu.
"Right, pretend to be a human," Alex said slowly as thoughts whirled in his mind.
His thoughts were abruptly stopped by Alice who had put her hand on top of Alex's head.
"Huh?" Alex let out confused at her actions.
"Sometimes I wonder what goes on in that head of yours, would I be able to see if I opened it up?" Alice asked with an innocent expression.
A shiver ran down Alex's spine at the sight.
"You know that sometimes you look and say some really terrifying things?" Alex said as he looked into Alice's dark amber eyes.
Alice simply tilted her head to one side and put her finger on her lips.
"Maybe~," Alice said as she gave Alex a little smirk before it quickly vanished from her face as if that had all been an illusion.
*Sigh*
Releasing a soft sigh, Alex finally put the food menu down and waited for the waiter.
It seemed like the man had been waiting and quickly came almost as soon as the menu hit the table.
"Have you finished deciding Sir, Madam?" The waiter asked.
Nodding his head, Alex spoke up.
He continued ordering from the menu until he had almost ordered everything it had.
"That will be it, thank you!" Alex said as he looked at the man who had sweat going down his face whilst he wrote down on a small booklet.
At first, he hadn't written anything, thinking he would be able to remember the whole order but that had changed quickly once Alex had really started ordering.

Nodding his head, the waiter took the menus and headed back toward the kitchen.
Alice just looked at him for a moment before letting out a small giggle.
"That was hilarious, did you see his face, Alex? He looked so lost" Alice said as she barely held herself from outright bursting out in laughter.
Alex nodded with the same grin on his face.
Finally, after getting some control of herself, Alice looked at Alex and asked curious.
"Are you actually going to eat everything?"
Alex nodded immediately.
"When else will I have the chance to get free five-star restaurant food without having to pay a single cent out of my pocket?" Alex said, giving her a grin.
Alice nodded slowly.
"You know right now it feels like I'm taking you out on a date more than you are taking me, Alex," Alice said jokingly as she gave Alex a mischievous smile.
Alex's expression quickly changed into a serious one.
"Don't say it" Alex said with a heavy tone.
"Why not 'Babe'" Alice said as she stretched out the last word.
Alex felt a heavy boulder fall on his head.
The conversation between the two continued, even as the food came and Alex was gulping everything down like he was a hungry wolf.
Finally, after an hour and a half, Alex and Alice got up and headed outside of the restaurant.
Looking around, they couldn't see anyone on the streets, the only places where people were at this hour were either at home or at a nightclub.
"That was great, we have to come back again sometime," Alex said as he patted his stomach.
Alice stood to the side as she looked at him with wide eyes.
Turning to face her, Alex asked confused at her expression.
"What is it?" He asked, his tone clearly showing his confusion.
"Nothing, I just don't know how you fit all of that inside you," Alice said, her tone showed her surprise if her facial expression wasn't enough to understand how surprised she was.
'No dirty thoughts, no, stop it' Alex thought and then just gave Alice a shrug.
"I don't know, I probably wouldn't have been able to eat all of that as a human so maybe it has something to do with me being a vampire?" Alex said as he and Alice started walking toward the parking lot where they had left the Porsche.
The walk was quick and they soon arrived, and Alex sat in the driver seat just like before while Alice sat in the passenger one.
Turning the car on, The Porsche gave a loud rumble before it started driving forward soon after.
As Alex was driving him home, he was still consumed by thoughts.
"Still in your thoughts again? Am I that boring Alex?" Alice asked him as she came closer.
Turning to face her, Alex's eyes widened for a moment at the sight before his eyes before he quickly turned to face the road again.
"No, I'm sorry about that. The date was amazing at least for me, I hope you also enjoyed it, Alice. I don't think I'll ever forget this experience." Alex said as he started driving faster and faster.
The sound of the Porsche echoed off the asphalt as it increased its speed.
"I also don't think I'll ever forget this date for the rest of my life," Alice said softly as she turned to face ahead as well.
Slowly Alex slid his hand down and took Alice's hand in his.
Alice didn't get surprised, merely showed a smile before gripping his hand back.
The rest of the drive being engulfed by a calm atmosphere, finally Alex felt a peace.
He felt calm, welcomed, and at home.
He was hers and She was his.
Forever.
