He had already messaged Alice who had told him she would come over.

The wait wasn't long and soon enough another presence showed up at the treeline and with a fast jump.

It was Alice who was wearing a black sweater and black jeans with a pair of complementary black leather boots.

"Hey, you came over," Alex said as he turned to face the gorgeous woman who seemed to be like a black hole that he couldn't take his eyes from.

"Yeah, did you want me not to?" Alice said with a mischievous smile on her face as she sat down next to Alex, and immediately wrapped her arm around his, gripping his hand tightly.

With a low chuckle, Alex shook his head before turning his sight to the night sky where the stars shone radiently.

"So what did you do while you were away, im sure the story you told in front of Bella wasn't all there was to it," Alice asked as she faced him.

Turning his head back to her, Alex nodded and then started explaining.

He kept the part of his reincarnation out but he told her everything, about his own coven or rather organization, about him being Alucard and everything he had encountered.

"So you've already made a coven huh? That was quicker than I expected" Alice said more so to herself rather than Alex.

"Are you upset about what I did?" Alex asked her after finishing up his rant and explaining everything.

Alice put her finger to her lips as she tilted her head, making a comical thinking expression.

And then a moment later she gave him a smile as she removed her finger and shook her head.

"No, I already told you that I will be with you through thick and thin, I'll support any decision that you make Alex. I'll always be right there by your side," Alice said as her face drifted closer to Alex's.

Her words caused Alex's heartbeat to beat faster and faster.

'Perfect' Alex thought as he looked deeply into the woman's eyes.

Moments passed as they drew closer to each other until finally.

Under the moonlight, the two shared a chaste kiss, enveloped in each other's embrace.

The moment was short and soon the two parted but the smiles on their faces didn't disappear even as the moon disappeared behind the horizon and the morning came.

The two sat there chatting with each other, enjoying themselves in the comfort of each other.

Finally, as the time hit six in the morning and Alex and Alice heard Charlie wake up, the two stood up from the roof edge.

"Seems like its time that I head back," Alice said before turning around and giving Alex another hug which he answered in kind with one of his own.

"All right, I'll see you later Alice. I'll be coming over today after school" Alex said with his own soft smile.

With a nod of her head, Alice disappeared in a blur, her speed far surpassing human limits however her steps even when using so much force were silent just like those of a cat.

Alex however saw her back as she vanished clearly, and after a moment, he also came down from the roof and entered back into his room once more and started to change his clothes and get ready for the day to come.

Changing into a pair of light caramel-colored jeans and a matching leather jacket and a white bland t-shirt, Alex went to the bathroom and styled his hair.

Once he was done with his morning routine of getting dressed up, Alex put on some perfume and headed downstairs.

Seeing Charlie in the kitchen eating a sandwich as he listened to the morning news.

"Good morning Dad," Alex said as he came to sit in front of the man.

"Good morning Alex," Charlie said as he continued his breakfast, only stopping to ask Alex the occasional question.

"You still wake up as early as ever huh?" Charlie asked his son.

"Yeah, it's become a habit that I can't shake off, I like it this way, you get to enjoy more of the day," Alex said as he listened to the morning weather forecast.

It was expected to simply be a cloudy day here in Forks with no rain but no sunshine either.

After a few minutes, Charlie got up and started heading out to go to work.

"I'm going now Alex, if you want any food there's some in the fridge that you can make a sandwich out of," Charlie said as he put on his police jacket and wore his black boots.

"All right Dad, have a nice day at work," Alex said as he waved the man goodbye and went to sit on the couch to wait for Bella.

After Charlie headed off, it didn't take more than half an hour for Bella to come downstairs as well.

After a few words and Bella finishing her morning breakfast, Alex and her headed outside and into the Orange truck.

Reversed out of the house and started driving toward the high school.

"So have you seen Jacob recently?" Alex asked Bella who was seated on the passenger seat.

Turning to face her brother Bella nodded her head.

"Yeah, he seems to have changed quite a bit recently though," Bella said as she remembered her past few encounters with the boy.

"Changed? How?" Alex asked though he was pretty sure he already knew the answer better than even Bella herself.

"Well for one thing, he absolutely hates the Cullens now, back then he just said that their myths about the Cullens were fake and old fogey stories from their elders but that seemed to have changed" Bella answered.

"He's probably already become a full-fledged shapeshifter then," Alex said as he drove.

"Shapeshifter?" Bella questioned as his face twisted to show a confused and shocked expression.
