It is funny how even when the world gives me something 'nice', I feel cheated. The highest rate item I got is a silk ribbon. It is pretty and colorful, but it is still just a freaking ribbon. Maybe if I had a connection to some wealthy lady I could sell it. But I am a freaking monster.
Humm... A lady.
"Hey Shraaizar, I have something here for you."
"What is it, Grendel?"
"Close your eyes."
"How is it done?" Oh, right. She can't close her eyes. The whole no-eyelid stuff.
"Here, let me do this, and now this goes around, and pull." I tie the ribbon as a bow around her neck. The bow is in the back.
"What is this flimsy looking piece of cloth?"

"It is called a 'ribbon' by the humans. It is used to decorate creatures, you know, make them more beautiful."
"Ehhhh, filthy human thing! Get that thing off of me...." She was about to claw the ribbon, I held her hands.
"Stop! This thing is valuable. People use it to mark important things. Like their pets."
"A pet? What is a pet? Is it important?" She is strangely elated.
"It is like a tamed creature." I joke. "Putting it around Shraaizar's neck means I've tamed her now."
"Nooooo! What a shame! Never in my life I thought I was going to become a tamed monster! What shame! Were my sisters alive to laugh at my disgrace..." She is taking it too far.
"Shraaizar, stop. It was a joke. You are not really tame just because someone tied an ordinary piece of cloth around your neck. Check your status."
She checks her status, and then coils herself, pensatively. Then she coils herself, and strikes at me like the snake she is. Poison fangs dig deeply in my skin. And she keeps biting. I am getting some numbness going on.
"I HATE IT! I HATE GRENDEL! Hate ribbon! Hate joke! Die!" She is making the same face as Yuno from Future Diary. Yandere got!
"Oh. Calm down. There, I'm removing the ribon. It was just some teasing, don't get mad like that."
"Grendel, you meanie!"
I guess I am spending the rest of the day being bitten and poisoned.
