With Jeeves carrying me and Gur in the front we started walking toward the village. After a bit of walking I ordered Jeeves to stop. I silently sat there for a second before yelling curse words at the top of my lungs “Where is the stupid village!” I calmed myself by taking a few laps in my egg. I took a deep breath. I had followed the human but somehow the village wasn't there. I sent my soul eye out again and searched. I found it after a while and saw that I had walked right by the village.
I ordered Jeeves to grin in anticipation as I marched back the way we came. After a while we got to the village. It was mostly made out of wood and had a palisade around it. There were about 200 people inside. They had all gathered in the center of the village where a fat man with nice clothes was talking to them. He was twice the width of the other humans. This human was probably the leader.
I ordered Jeeves to bring me to a nearby hill while Gur hid in the forest. The villagers seemed distracted so it was time to make my entrance. This would be my start as a villain so I needed to establish my brand. I looked at the village one more time before telling Gur to charge.
He slammed through the palisade and into a house before letting out a roar. I had Jeeves put me down so he could clap. He picked me up and we slowly started walking into the village. Gur was having fun smacking the humans around. Only a few tried fighting, the rest ran screaming. The fat man had soiled himself running the nice clothes.
A few humans put on metal and ran screaming towards Gur. This was different from the others but still boring. I walked through the village looking for something to entertain me and came upon a wooden board. Little wooden pieces were on it and a saw book opened next to it.
There were some bloodstains but I ignored and had Jeeves set me down on one of the chairs. I had him open the book for me and started reading. Apparently this was a game called chess. I was interested in this game . I made Jeeves have a glint in his eye. Finally new entertainment.
Onyx’s POV
I hated humans. They made taking this settlement more difficult than ever. We had a force of 5000! I could barely feed them all and we had already eaten every single blade of grass around us. I stared at the fortress that was now covered in a thin blanket of snow. I had been busy while this happened. We now had 20 ogres and 500 soldiers. All our resources were here. The final battle happened now. I ordered all my Dagoon to get ready.
Then we charged. The previous holes were enlarged and new ones were made. The soldiers went first followed by hunters. I myself sprinted forward feeling my muscles tighten as we slammed into the humans. I laughed as a swipe of my claws sliced a human into three different pieces. I enjoyed this, the thrill of battle. The feeling of being covered in blood. Completely devoted to a single cause. I walked forward confidently stabbing a human through the chest with my tail.

For the first time in this siege the humans felt true fear. They saw me, a divine being! I was the holy claw here to destroy them. Nothing would stop me! As I was riding my battle high a ballista bolt slammed through my shoulder. It was the shoulder that had been previously hit when I had fought the rabbits. I collapsed to the ground unable to move.
The Dagoon around me rages. Completely forgetting any plan they swarmed the humans eating them alive. They took the first wall in a few minutes before moving onto the next. I laughed as I staggered to my few. I roared when my Dagoon commanded them “Rage, frenzy! Destroy them all!”
The humans were now screaming. Only 200 remained in the inner citadel and as my soldiers, hunters and ores slaughtered them I laughed. I had won. Nothing would stop me now. My army would advance, killing everything that got near us. I saw a human with robes be picked apart as he screamed in terror. This was a satisfying end to a siege that lasted far too long.
I walked over to the throne room and sat in front of the throne. With Julius by my side I would win. After eating I ordered Trip to come join me. I loved my eldest and he deserved some more food. Then I noticed I couldn't command him. There was a hollow spot in my mind he no longer filled. I staggered backwards then collapsed to the ground and wept.
Egg’s POV
Human games were fun. I read the book on chess and started playing. I raised all the corpses Gur had killed as basic zombies and ordered them to find humans and bring them to me. I had felt my egg getting too small for me to hold and knew that I would have to hatch soon. For now I simply ordered Jeeves to move my pieces.
The humans were usually too scared to play but I still had fun. I now had around 400 various skeletons and zombies. I used them to have fun. One time when it had snowed more than usual I had them throw balls of snow at each other. Gur won but it was still fun to watch.
Two months passed like this and I finally decided to hatch. I quickly burnt the egg away and popped out as a 3 foot tall human looking thing. That was when my head started to feel like it would explode. My soul eye hung around and because of this I was looking at 2 different things at once. That would not have been a problem except somehow my head hurt because of it. Apparently that was too much multitasking for my brain.
I enjoyed taking walks with Jeeves who always kept a snack around for me. I had found a baking recipe known as cookies. They were delicious and I loved them.Although after a few more days I got bored. All the humans had been killed leaving me no one to play with. It was time to find new entertainment. I ordered all my undead together and started walking toward the mountains.
