I had all of the corpses transported back to the nest. My children were buried and the rabbits were used to create more of my brood. I had them make mainly hunters but with the thousand soldiers rabbits we had killed I also had 50 soldiers made. In the end we produced another 300 hunters. I also made a Dagoon Ogre. its egg was the size of a hunter but what really shocked me was what happened after it hatched.
(Hello?) I was eating a rabbit haunch when I heard the voice. I spit my food out in surprise and started looking around to find where it had come from. (My queen, I am over here!) I looked and saw a Dagoon who was almost my size. They had arms the size of tree trunks and I felt a small tremor every time they took a step. They had six eyes and teeth the size of a small person. This was a hatchling?
(My queen I will be triple this size by the time I reach adulthood.) The hatchling sounded triumphant as she said this. She looked extremely proud of herself and as I observed her I realized that she had three tails! All of them had giant spiked balls on them. I walked up to my newest brood and gave her a name.” From now on your name shall be Cate. Welcome to the family.” The last part made me sound like I just recruited her into the mafia. I ignored that creepy fact and led her to one of the bigger caves.
I walked away and wondered why she was able to speak even though none of my other children could. Even Trip wasn't able to speak. Before checking on Julius I walked over to Felix’s grave and slumped to the ground next to it.
I looked up at his remains and wondered what it would be like if he was still here. It might not feel that different but I missed him. I always knew he was there but didn't really pay attention to him. I never told him I loved him. I never got to hug him. I never got to celebrate his birthday. I never even got to save him when he needed me most.
I looked around and noticed the whole entire hive was surrounding me. They all were either cuddling each other or just moping on the ground. Even the usually stoic Julius was cuddling with the other soldiers. (Waaagh! My queen, we will never let you feel such pain again! ) Cate was bawling rolling on the ground as Trip gently patted her paw. Tote and blue stared right at the bone remembering how Felix had saved them.
I looked at my family and gradually the feelings of sadness faded. They were still there and they hurt but I felt happy. I walked around nuzzling each of my children. Then I walked away happy to know that in this world I was not alone.
As I was walking away I stopped and then screamed. I had forgotten about my level up and new unique Unit

I was confused at first as I had not assigned my stats and yet I had zero to assign and my stats had increased by a lot. I assumed this was because I hit level five. That would be a milestone in most games. I next went to look at my units. I at first thought that Cate was the unique unit but it seemed she was not.

*New* Dagoon Prince” Cost 1000 biomass
A humanoid Dagoon they have a body that is almost identical to humans except for most of their body being made of scales. They are extremely powerful and only one can be in the world at a time. They are known to use soul magic. They are able to pass as human. Be aware that they have equal status and have a chance of not being completely devoted to you.
I stared at the cost. This would be the most powerful Dagoon in the world. I started giggling to myself then started laughing so much my stomach hurt. By the time that child was able to realize what was happening the world would be under my brood's rule. I walked away from the grave and summoned Julius to my side.
