I continued dunking stacks of 500 papers into the blood.
It was going to take me about two weeks to prepare all the papers I had, and another two to make them all into Yellow Inner Force Seals.
In between the dunkings I focused on my next projects.
I brought two jugs of the prepared Inner Energy Blood, and poured them into two, of the remaining three compartments, of the clay bath.
I brought over the prepared powder mix that was my base in helping any Inner Energy infuse into items.
I set it to the side and fetched two piles of Items, it was a group of leather and fur gloves, and a group of pebbles and small metal pellets.
Even though I didn’t have time to craft weapons, I had gotten the idea to use these gloves that were some of my least sold items from my shop, and see if I could imbue them with Inner Energy.
I had made these gloves in an attempt to lower my stock of animal pelts and hides, specially of the small animals I had killed.
I retained the habit of harvesting and preserving the whole body parts of my hunt.
This had turned out to be very inconvenient, as I had a lot of stuff that was hard to sell.
As for the small pebbles and metal pellets, they were items that were easy to collect, and that I was actually making for my own use.
Knowing the difficulty of Inner Energy infusion, I changed up my usual bathing method from before.
I grabbed a brush and dipped it into the bath and started to lightly coat the items in a layer of Inner Energy Blood.
After coating all the items I let them dry for some time; time I used to make some more Yellow Seals.
After the coat on the items dried up, I grabbed the gloves and dunked them in one of the compartments and I carefully started to pour in the base powder mix.
After pouring in a certain amount, I dipped my hands in and started to channel my Inner Energy into the bath.
The bath glowed bright and after some time I stopped, and let the gloves just bathe in the bath.
I was planning to leave the gloves in there for a week and periodically inject my Inner Energy and pour some of the powder mix.
I repeated the same process when dunking the pebbles and metal pellets.
As long as the items retained even a fraction of the Inner Energy that I had poured in, and that was inside the blood, I would consider my experiment a success, as I would have gained the basic ground work on how to create Inner Energy Weapons.
While I waited the week I continued making the papers and refining my experimentation.
Back in my days with the Toltemic, I had learned how to make a clear sealing resin to use as a protectant and bonding agent.
It was made from the resin of the Bleeding Willow Tree and other similar trees and plants.
I used that resin in the crafting of all my weapons, it was very useful material.
But having used the resin in creating the base magical weapons, before they were dunked in the blood, I noticed that all the material the weapons were crafted out of gained magical properties, including the resin.
I had a mind to create a resin with magical properties for my own use, but for now I could make the same attempt with Inner Energy Blood.
I did the same process in preparing normal resin, heating up the raw Willow Tree Resin and adding water, animal fat, and sand.
This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it.
The only exception was that I also added some Expert Yew Resin I managed to collect.
After some time I reached the consistency that I wanted, that was when I started to change the recipe.
I poured in the base mix, and started to stir.
After stirring for some time, I then started to pour in the Inner Energy Blood.
I was doing all this mixing in a large metal pot under a fire and had never stopped the fire from burning.
I was curious how the blood would react to the stimulation of high temperatures.
After the pouring of the Blood, the liquid mixture definitely got a lot more violent as it started to bubble and steam chaotically.
I kept on stirring for some time and then I proceeded to close the pot with a lid and sealed it.
The sealing of the pot definitely put a lot of pressure on it, as there was a lot of energy within it.
I could only hope that it would hold.
I grabbed a completed Yellow Seal, marked it with my spit, and ripped it in half.
After the buff I was able to see the violent movement of Inner Energy within the pot, but I also noticed that It was progressively getting calmer and calmer, becoming one with the liquid within the pot.
After some time the turbulence of the mixture finally ceased, and the liquid resin only peacefully steamed away as its water content evaporated.
Not wanting it to become a substance that was too hard, I took off the lid, and waited for the Resin to get the right consistency of viscosity.
After it got to where I wanted it to get I poured out the Resin into a clay container and proceeded to inspect it.
My intentions for this sort of material was to create a substance that can temporarily imbue items with Inner Energy properties.
Since Resin was great in use as a sealing coat and bonding agent, my idea was that as long as one slathered this resin onto the surface of a weapon or item, however long the resin lasted, was how long the special properties would last.
It wasn’t as good or powerful as true energy infusion, but it was definitely a weapon buffing item I could see Experts foaming at the mouth over.
I grabbed one of my normal bone spear weapons and slathered the prepared Resin all over it, since my Yellow Seal buff hadn’t worn off yet, I was able to see that the spear did indeed gain Inner Energy properties.
I struck a wooden dummy several times with the spear and noticed the tell tale signs of an Inner Energy powered strike.
I also confirmed that with each strike the energy within the resin diminished, becoming fainter and fainter.
Although the resin was good at sealing and encasing, it wasn’t good at permeating or infusing with material like water or blood.
Although the spear gained Inner Energy properties, it wasn’t a true infusion, as this was basically the same as putting a temporary layer of Inner Energy on top of the spear that had an expiration date.
I assumed it would be the same case if I made a Magical Resin.
After having successfully created all those Items with Inner Energy Blood, I only had one more project I wanted to do.
It was my attempt at trying to fix a Practitioner's problematic Inner Energy Cap.
