Kinis was livid, nothing was going according to how he had planned things.
What was supposed to be a glorious arrival and easy conquering of this world, had turned into an unlivable nightmare situation.
Only due to his acumen, talent, and raw genius was he still alive; otherwise anybody else would have long ago perished.
As of right now, he was in the process of running for his life and living like a street dog, hiding from one place to another.
Ever since his defeat in Beans Village, some sort of entity or organization had gone after him, sending wave after wave of assassins to kill him.
That in itself wouldn’t be such a big deal, but throughout that whole ordeal, he had failed in finding a way to remove the curse that had been attached to his powers.
He had exhausted all resources, been to all sorts of places, and had even come in contact with the most powerful Curse Expert in the country, but up until that point, the problem remained.
Because of the curse he was unable to use his War Sage Powers and Arts.
As soon as he called upon even an inkling of the power within him an unbearable pain and torture would penetrate the deepest parts of his body, mind, and soul.
He had experienced all sorts of painful tribulations and as a man of War he had no fear of injury, but the agony he had to go through if he even thought about using his powers was beyond any mortal's endurance.
The best he was able to manage was to get the Curse Expert to seal his powers with a powerful technique that allowed him to temporarily unseal them if ever he needed to access his powers.
Due to opting for a less restrictive Seal, Unbearable pain would still manifest itself periodically.
Nevertheless, the seal had made the mere act of living bearable once more.
His problem thereafter was that he had no powers to defend himself whatsoever from whoever was after his life.
His indignation and vengefulness towards Recondos and Beans Village took a backseat as he fled throughout Volunterra to preserve his life.
In the Sparing times of rest he came upon, he honed and recalled upon his almost forgotten, and hardly ever used, skills as a Warrior and Man at Arms.
Too long had he relied on his innate powers.
Only in his infantile years while under his Family’s Elder War Sage tutelage, was he forced to practice in an unaugmented state.
But as soon as his Father witnessed his world-defying genius, his training, coronation, and ascent to power were fast-tracked as never had been seen before in a violent World like Guerrark.
From the moment of his birth, he was destined for greatness.
Who could stand in his way?
No not now!
Not even now that he was in the shadow of such cowardly and mediocre pursuants’ would he let his brightness fade away!
No!
Precisely because of how wretched they were, could he not meet his end under their hand.
Under great strain he retrained his body to Peak Warrior form, achieving mastery over a variety of weapons in record time.

He remembered his homeworld's many martial arts and martial tactics, both those he saw used by his men and those used against him by his enemies.
He even, despite the great torture, summoned a bit of his power to retrieve heirloom knowledge from the spirit essence of his fallen foes.
The Pure War-Spirit SpiritCraft from one of his most formidable foes, Great Hero General Ledex.
The Mighty and Profound War Crafting knowledge of Peyod Chief War Engineer of the once mighty WarSong Empire.
And Finally the Mystic Battle Phenom Arts from Grand War Sage Gpejt.
Indeed these were all Skills and Resources he always had access to but had found making use of them beneath him.
But now he had no choice but to take advantage of them at the price of temporary unimaginable pain.
But eventually, his efforts paid dividends; as a consequence of his mountainous talents and capabilities, he soon became adept at using all his newly acquired tools effectively in combat.
Slowly but surely the hunters were becoming the hunted.
The SpiritCraft allowed him to hone in and grow his pure Warrior Spirit which in turn augmented all his physical and battle capabilities to ridiculous levels.
The cap on such a technique was only on the practitioner’s talents and abilities.
With the War Crafting knowledge of Peyod, and after usurping someone’s smithy he crafted profoundly powerful weapons called Pure Resonant Weapons.
They were only made out of normal metals but the Profound knowledge through which they were created would Prompt a weapon expert to be amazed.
He made many types of these weapons for different scenarios.
It took him longer to grasp the essence of the Phenom Arts but he still attained impressive proficiency in them in a short amount of time.
If Potestera residents, more precisely the Magons, were to witness the Phenom Arts in action, they would think they were observing an impressive school of Magic.
But although the results were similar, Phenom Arts functioned from a different source than Mana.
It combined battle essence, spirit essence, and profound knowledge of mystic signs to manifest.
But once they did the results were powerful and the possibilities almost limitless.
Before his birth, Gpejt had been the greatest War Sage in Guerrark, but since he was the one who had ultimately ended his reign, Gpejts Arts once again had the opportunity to ravage the battlefield.
In Kinis’s mind, he would make sure Gpejt repaid him with such favor in the afterlife.
Towards the end of his two-year chase, the assassins, hitmen, and shadowy Experts were meeting their end before they could even make a move.
But before Kinis could once again reembarque on his path towards ascension, he encountered a foe whom he knew was much more powerful than any of the ones he had faced before.
“It's a pleasure to meet you War Sage Kinis, I hope the residents of my world haven’t been too rude towards you. My name is Am the Sage of Humans, I’ve been given the task of ending your life. Let our battle be a Glorious and Honorable one.”
