Just as Rory suggested the three went on a stroll.
“I’m surprised that you agreed so easily.”
He said to Christi.
“I had a feeling that if I was to refuse, you would become even more annoying.”
“Hahaha! I see. You don’t like to be teased?”
Rory wrapped his arm around Christi’s shoulder.
“You need to relax and laugh. Stop taking life so seriously. You and Liam are the same on this regard.”
“I’m different from my brother. Also, our burdens are different as well.”
Christi replied.
“Burdens huh?”
Rory nodded with an understanding tone.
“Being a prince is pretty tough huh?”
He moved his mouth closed to Christi’s ear and whispered.
“Especially when you have an amazing partner you don’t want to let down.”
“…….”
Christi didn’t reply.
“But I guess you’re right. Of all the candidates for king, your burden is the heaviest.”
He strengthened his grip on Christi’s shoulder.
“Because if you lose, this country is done for.”
“?!”
Christi was shocked to hear that.
“How did you-?”
“Hahaha! Don’t worry, it’ll be fine.”
Rory laughed when he saw how confused he was.
“Just leave everything to this star. I’ll take up your burdens and show you how great I am.”
He smirked at Christi.
“………”
“Oh? You look like you don’t believe me.”
“How could I? What you’re saying is impossible to achieve.”
Christi responded.
“And who decided that? The heavens? You?”
Rory replied with a question.
“Either way, the only one who can decide if I can do it or not is me.”
He released Christi’s shoulder.
“I am the Devil King Rory! I make the impossible possible by any means necessary!”
He declared.
“But I heard that you’re not as strong as you once were.”
Christi said.
“True, but that won’t stop me. If I say I’m gonna do something, I’m gonna do it.”
Rory replied.
“Why are you so determined?”
Christi asked.
“I said it already didn’t I? I want to get along with all of you.”
Rory then grabbed onto Reina’s hand.
“I also want to make a beautiful woman happy.”
Reina opened her mouth to say something, however she was interrupted.
“Yo, Rory”

“……….”
Rory heard a familiar voice and slowly turned around.
“Oh, Elia. Long time no see.”
As he expected, he turned around and saw Amelia staring at him. He then looked at Serket who was beside her.
‘That old hag….She hid not only herself but Elia from my Sonar. So I wasn’t able to sense that they were nearby.’
As if she knew what he was thinking, Serket had a mischievous smile on her face, which ticked Rory off.
‘That bag of bones!’
He shouted in his head.
“Who’s this?”
Amelia asked referring to Reina, whose hand was still being grasped by Rory.
‘Why do I feel like a mistress who got caught by her lover’s wife?’
Reina thought to herself. She looked at Christi, and surprisingly he looked like he wanted to laugh.
This irritated her and caused her to pull her hand away from Rory.
“Yo, Elia. I haven’t seen you in a while. Oh, this is Reina by the way. She works for the third prince.”
Rory casually introduced Reina to Amelia.
“Reina?”
Amelia looked at Reina from head to toe. For some reason she became irritated the longer she looked at her.
“I’m Reina. I’ve heard much about you, Amelia Rosa.”
Reina introduced herself with a polite tone and even offered a handshake.
“Its nice to meet you.”
Amelia looked at her hand for a bit before taking it and shaking.
“Nice to meet you, Reina.”
She said.
That moment Rory appeared beside Serket.
“Damn hag, why did you bring these two together?!”
He whispered in her ear.
“What? I thought you wanted them to meet.”
Serket responded.
“Not yet! I still haven’t gotten close enough to Reina yet. Them meeting now is the worse timing!”
“You reap what you sow. It’s your fault for Pursuing multiple women at once.”
Serket started laughing.
“I know what this is. You’re taking out your frustrations from your marriage on me. Just because you’re bitter, you don’t need to make the world burn, hag!”
“Who has marriage issues, you son of a bitch?!”
Serket grabbed Rory and started to shake him.
“You bitter old woman!”
Rory still snapped back even though he was being manhandled.
“You brat, I’m getting tired of your shit!”
“That’s my line, granny!”
Rory grabbed her back and shouted.
“Do you wanna take this outside?!”
Rory asked.
“We’re already outside, moron!”
“You know what I mean!”
The two were literally bucking heads while arguing.
“Alright, you two. That’s enough.”
Richard came up and tried to separate them, but they held on to each other pretty tightly.
“Hm?”
Rory, who was in Serket’s face, finally looked at Richard after failing to hold on to Serket.
“………”
He looked at him in silence and then separated from Serket.
“You get to live to see another day, old woman.”
He said.
“Ha! I should be the one saying that, brat!”
Serket said.
“…….”
Amelia looked at the two with shock. That was the first time she’s ever seen someone get in Rory’s face like that. Not only that, they seemed to be familiar with each other.
“What happened while I was training?”
She mumbled.
“Serket, do you know this bastard?”
Amelia said while pointing at Rory.
‘Bastard? She’s angry?’
Rory thought after hearing how Amelia referred to him.
“Ah, you wouldn’t know since you were gone for a while.”
Serket pointed at Rory as well.
“I’m this pile of trash’s foster mother.”
“Huh?!”
Naturally, Amelia was shocked. She started looking at Serket and Rory back to back. And then-
“But you guys don’t resemble each other at all.”
“Foster! Don’t forget that part.”
Serket replied.
“I know what it means, but aren’t you suppose to resemble the one that raised you, even in behavior?”
Amelia asked.
“Ha! I think it’s great that we aren’t similar.”
Rory replied. Amelia immediately looked at him with a sharp gaze, which made him shut up, although only for a second.
“But to think that Rory has such a connection to James’ master. That’s surprising.”
“Oh, I’m Jamie’s mother by the way.”
Serket added.
“You’re the queen?!”
Amelia was once again shocked.
“You seem more surprised than when I said I was Rory’s foster mother.”
Serket said.
“Well, I was surprised, but I could tell that you were around Rory’s level in strength. So when you told me about your relations to him, it kinda makes sense in my head. But I never saw you being the queen coming.”
Amelia explained.
“I see.”
Amelia then looked back at Christi.
‘This guy does give off a similar vibe to Serket. They both feel dangerous.”
She then looked at Reina.
“………”
Reina silently locked eyes with her. The longer they looked at each other the more intense their stares became. And then-
“For some reason, I don’t like you.”
Amelia suddenly said.
This caught everyone by surprise. Amelia directly expressed her dislike of Reina, and showed no sign of regretting what she said.
That meant that she stands by what she said, and had no intention of backing down. She disliked Reina, and wanted it to be clear.
“Heh.”
Reina surprisingly smiled when she heard that.
“What a coincidence. I don’t like you either. Your face pisses me off, for some reason.”
Reina replied.
She spoke with a challenging tone, which didn’t fit her character.
“Ah~.”
Rory held his head and sighed.
“This is why I didn’t want them to meet.”
He looked at the two who were glaring at each other.
“Lodons and Megals just don’t get along.”
The moment he said that, he saw Amelia started clenching her fists. Reina on the other hand, started loosening her wrists.
“Oh, looks like they’re about to fight.”
Serket said.
“This is your fault, fossil. You knew that this would happened yet you let it.”
Rory complained.
“What’s the problem? You were planning on making them fight later, right? So what’s the big deal?”
Serket responded.
“I like to do things at my own leisure. It isn’t the right time for them to fight.”
Rory replied.
“Isn’t the right time? And when is the right time?”
Serket asked back.
“I know what it is.”
She looked at Rory with a teasing smile.
“You’re just upset that things aren’t going your way.”
“What?”
Rory looked extremely pissed off by what she said.
“You’ve always been a control freak. That’s one of the few things about you that haven’t changed.”
Serket continued.
“You like it when the world is moving by your whim, and you hate it when nothing is going your way.”
She said.
“Just stand there and watch. You’ll see that this is the perfect time for them to fight.”
