A woman with ankle-length pink hair walked along one of Outset City’s streets. Her luscious skin was a creamy hue, and her eyes were a lovely pink. Many looks, particularly from men, followed her as she went along. Her shoes with 6cm heels lightly tapped the ground as she continued forward. Not counting the shoes, she stood at 163cm tall. Her pink dress served to flaunt her rather impressive figure nicely. At the front of the dress’s neckline, there was a beautiful ruby.
“It’s nice to be back in Asha.” The woman glanced around, her pink eyes stopping on one of the men stealing looks at her. “He looks kind of yummy.” Her stomach growled. “I guess I could go for a bite. Oh wait!” Unbeknownst to that guy, he was saved from misfortune through nothing more than dumb luck. The beautiful woman’s eyes came to an Ashan Creations Ice Cream cart at the side of the road. “I love that brand!”
With a smile, she quickly exchanged a bronze coin for a strawberry ice cream cone with multicolored sprinkles. Happily, she took a lick. This beautiful woman was Ri Sal, the slime queen. That’s right. She was a slime and a particularly powerful one at that. If the guys that were currently treating her like eye candy knew what she really was, most would be fleeing in terror if not all. For now, though, she was just a beautiful girl enjoying an ice cream cone, not anything that would be triggering alarm bells.

“W-Why are you stopping?!” Viola whined. Behind her, Eks had froze, a look of horror on the cat girl’s face. A squelch sounded, drawing the bunny girl’s attention. Apprehensively, Viola turned to the source of the sound. A short distance away, a pink-haired girl stood. At that girl’s feet, was a fallen ice cream cone.
The bunny girl turned her emerald eyes back to Eks. “You know this woman?”
“Darling!” the pink-eyed girl squealed before the cat girl could answer. With hearts in her eyes, she rushed forward, glomping onto Eks, nuzzling her right cheek on the cat girl’s left.
“W-What do you think you’re doing?! Get off my girlfriend!” Viola yelled angrily. Her anger crumpled when the pink-haired woman gave her a look that screamed hatred.
“Step off, bitch! She’s mine!” The pink-eyed girl glomped tighter.
“Vi, this is my ex, Ri Sal,” Eks introduced the clingy girl.
“Your ex? Don’t be silly! We’re meant for each other!”
“I broke up with you, remember? Anyway, this is my new girlfriend, Viola Balewind.”
“Y-You replaced me with this bunny bitch?!” Ri all but screamed, a look of rage settling on her face. She released the cat girl with a huff and stepped up to Viola. She looked the orange-haired bunny girl up and down, her pink eyes intense. “She’s cute, but do you really think she’s a match for my 105cm bust, 57cm waist, and 92cm hips? Do the smart thing, darling. Break up with this chick, and get with the sexier woman.”
“Excuse me? Who do you think you are?” Viola grumbled.
“I’m fine with Vi’s 95cm bust, 60cm waist, and 90cm hips.” Eks gave the green-eyed bunny girl a thumbs up.
“…and why do you even know my bust, waist, and hips measurements?”
“I know things. My measurements are 102cm bust, 60cm waist, and 88cm hips.”
“Well, this conversation has gone off in an odd direction,” Viola commented dejectedly. “W-What the heck?!”
“I know you’re a boobs woman, Eksie. What do you want? Big?” Ri was groping Viola as she spoke. Then she released the bunny girl and cupped her own chest as she continued, “Or Bigger?”
“I’ll just stick with Vi. She is my girlfriend after all.”
Ri dropped to the ground in shock, seeming almost to short-circuit in disbelief.
“Somehow, I think you might have broke her,” Viola commented, looking at the spectacle of the pink-haired woman writhing on the ground in some sort of mental anguish. It didn’t last though. A moment later, Ri was back on her feet, her expression downright terrifying.
“Run, bunny bitch,” the pink-eyed girl growled, hatred dripping from her voice. In fact, the sheer hatred in the statement was so intense that it invoked a primal sense of fear, a fear that seemed to glue the addressed bunny girl to the spot.
“Oh crud,” Eks cursed, grabbing Viola’s hand. “You heard her! Move those sexy legs of yours!”
The cat girl’s words snapped the bunny girl out of her fear-mediated frozen state. Glancing back as the two of them fled, Viola’s green eyes widened in shock. There was no longer a girl behind them. Now there was a huge mass of translucent pink goo instead. To make matters worse, it was rapidly expanding.
“W-What the heck?! What the heck is she?” the bunny girl stuttered with tears in her eyes.
“She’s a slime. More specifically, she’s the slime queen so a particularly powerful slime.”

“T-That’s the slime queen?!” Viola responded in disbelief, looking back over her shoulder again. “If this keeps up, she’s going to flood the whole darn city! Wait! Why are you so calm?!”
“I-I’m kind of used to her. I mean, I used to date her, so…” Eks thought for a moment as they continued to run from the expanding monstrosity behind them. “Actually, she’s the one who killed you back on Earth. Try not to die this time.”
“Well, this just gets worse and worse. I’m literally fleeing for dear life from the one who killed me last time. How messed up is that? Maybe I should try talking her down.” Viola glanced over her shoulder just in time to see some random kid get devoured by the slime. “Nope! Bad idea! Definitely not the time for talking!”
More tears came to Viola’s green eyes as a growing crescendo of screams reached her ears. She couldn’t help but feel like this catastrophe was somehow her fault, but what could she do? She glanced back at the horror behind them. The only thing she could do was run. Ri was on a completely different level than her.

Viola’s world spun. She had run headlong into someone as she rounded a corner. Well, it wasn’t like paying attention to where she was going was at the front of her mind as of now. There was much more pressing matters like not getting eaten by a rampaging slime.
“Really? In front of your girlfriend, Vi?” Eks teased with a giggle.
“What is she talking about?” The bunny girl shook her head trying to clear it. “Wait! What am I sitting on?” She looked down and spied a lower body, a guy’s lower body. “D-Doesn’t that mean?” Her face went red as she realized where her butt was. “H-How mortifying!” She scrambled to her feet with tears in her eyes. “I-I’m sorry! I-I didn’t mean to!”
“I-I’m sorry!” the man apologized as well, climbing to his feet. “I should be the one apologizing!” The man turned out to be Elron, the blacksmith the girls knew. “W-Wait! Did you say girlfriend?!” he continued, turning to the cat girl.
“Yup! So no funny business!”
“Understood,” the blacksmith sighed. “What the heck is that?!” He gestured at what appeared to be an oncoming wall of translucent pink slime.
“Living death,” Eks joked with a smirk. “I suggest running.”
“I see your point, but what is it actually?” Elron asked as the three of them took off down a network of alleys.
“A slime,” the cat girl answered.
“A slime?! That big?!”
“Yes. A slime. More specifically, the slime queen.”
Elron’s face went white. “W-Why is she in Outset City?!”
“Long story. I’m not going over it right now.”
The trio continued onward, the alleys behind them flooding with goo. Luckily, the alleys were vacant for the most part. Getting stuck in a stampede would have been quite problematic in regard to escaping. After all, that psycho would probably just eat the stampede if it got in her way. Slimes really were terrifying.
Viola glanced over her shoulder at the carnage behind them. Ri was even consuming whole buildings at this point. That girl truly was voracious. “E-Eks, we aren’t going to be eaten, are we? I don’t want to be slime chow!”
“It will be fine. Don’t worry.”
“How can you be so calm?!”
“What’s the worse that could happen?”
“We could get eaten! That could happen!”
Elron glanced from one girl to the other, before asking, “Ms. Fells, you do have a plan, don’t you?” He was starting to get an even worse feeling about this whole situation.
“Does fleeing aimlessly count as a plan?” the red-eyed cat girl asked in utter seriousness.
“I-I see. I have a plan. How about you follow me?”
“Works for me. Come on, Vi.”
“Right,” the orange-haired bunny girl affirmed.

The trio came to a stop in an alley. Viola panted, glancing about nervously. The group did appear to have made a bit of headway in regards to escaping Ri by following Elron’s lead, but did they really lose her? Somehow, the bunny girl doubted that. The rumbling ground caught her attention. They definitely did not lose the slime queen. That monstrosity was close. The tremors were proof of that. Sweatdropping, she slowly turned her emerald eyes to the path they had fled down. Sure enough, translucent pink goo began flooding in, not only from the path they came from but from the side alleys too.
“We are so… I don’t even want to think about it.” On the verge of tears, Viola turned to Eks. “S-Should we run some more?” The goo was forming waterfalls over buildings now, and the buildings were quite literally melting. It seemed to almost be gathering into some sort of horrific tsunami, threatening to consume the whole darn city. Could they even outrun something at such a level?
“Hi guys! What’s up?!” a chipper voice called out. Elise walked up to the group, holding a large paper bag filled with produce. Her happy expression didn’t last though. The elf’s blue eyes widened as she noticed the horrific scene behind the others. Her grocery bag crashed to the ground, the produce spilling out. White as a sheet, she outstretched her right hand, pointing. She managed to stutter a bit but was too in shock at what she was seeing to get any actual words out.
“I think Elise broke,” Eks deadpanned. “You got that door open? We’re kind of pressed for time here.” The cat girl leaned against a wall as she spoke. Considering what was barreling towards them, she sounded rather nonchalant.
“Yes! Everyone, get in!” Elron answered, grabbing Elise’s outstretched arm and flinging her through the doorway. Was that kind of a rough thing to do? Yes, it was. He didn’t really have enough time to snap her out of her fear-induced stupor though.
Viola glanced at the oncoming goo and gulped before running through the open door. Eks followed closely behind her girlfriend, an oddly relaxed smile on the blue-haired cat girl’s face. She didn’t really seem to be taking this that seriously. Finally, Elron stepped through and slammed the door shut, the door’s frame shuddering on impact. Maybe he overdid the slam a bit. Before stepping back, the blacksmith set the deadlock, figuring it may slow the monster down some.
The whole darn house shook, nearly knocking Viola to its wooden floor as a swoosh and a squelch reverberated throughout it. Outside, the alley had been flooded by pink goo, the outer portion of the house’s windows being completely covered by the stuff.
