Viola rushed forward, the silvery blade of her Stone’s Bane Sword glinting as she passed through various beams of light. Metal met metal, her sword meeting one of the massive spider’s legs. She gritted her teeth, feeling the force the spider had met her swing with travel through her, the tunnel’s floor chipping at her feet. At least her Salamander Skin Greaves were holding up.
She broke away, her emerald eyes fixating on her foe as it followed her back, the tunnel rumbling with each of its steps. She watched as it raised one of its leading legs up before sending it crashing down towards her. With a quick sidestep, she outmaneuvered the blow, leaving the stone floor she had just previously stood upon to shatter from the sheer force of the strike.
“Such power!” The orange haired girl sweatdropped, her white bunny ears twitching nervously. Clenching the handle of her sword tighter, she blocked a swing from the other leading leg of Rumu. She held firm, yet her body protested at the impact (pain jolting through her). “This is too much!” The brown stone beneath her chipped as she slid back.
“Finish her, Rumu! Teach that bad bunny girl a lesson!” The mole queen sat atop the spider (a confident smirk upon her face), her long blond hair swaying with the spider’s motions.
Viola continued to be forced back, crackling coming from beneath her as more small stones broke free. Her muscles burned, but if she gave in, this thing would send her flying like a rag doll. “Do I really even have a chance against something like this?!”
Doubt ate at the bunny girl, her confidence shrinking. Sure, she had beaten some rock toads before, but this thing was on a completely different level. A small quiver ran through her body, her legs feeling like they would give out. She took a step back. “I have to hold it together.”
Her mind went to the slime queen (went to the horrible pink goo). “Actually, I’ve faced worse. True, I ran away from Ri, but compared to her, this thing is nothing.” Viola found the strength to take a single step forward. The grinding sound of Salamander Skin on stone continued as she slid the step back.

After what felt like an eternity (a painful eternity), the gigantic beast withdrew its leg, the bunny girl resisting the urge to drop to her knees in fatigue. “Great! Now maybe I can… Oh no!” Her green eyes widened in a mix of disbelief and utter horror. Before her, Rumu had reared up (its fangs ready).
With an eep, she threw herself to the side in panic, tumbling to the floor in the process. Frantically, she grabbed her sword and scrambled to her feet as fast as she could, expecting the beast to already be upon her. Quite luckily, she instead found the creature with its fangs stuck in the tunnel’s floor.
Giggling to herself, Viola began approaching the immobilized monster, casually stretching her sword arm as she walked. “Seems you have a bit of a problem,” she taunted with newfound confidence.
“What are you going to do?!” the mole queen cried, nervously eyeing the bunny girl.
“You’ll see.” She raised her sword, an overly cheerful smile on her face.
“No! Don’t!”
The blade came down, targeting the gigantic spider’s head. Metal on metal screeched, yet the blow inflicted nothing more than a tiny scratch. Viola stared at her sword in disbelief, being met with laughter from the spider’s back. “I think I see why it is called the Stone’s Bane Sword and not the Metal’s Bane Sword.”
Cracks began spreading from around Rumu’s fangs, the stone around them shattering a moment later. Viola staggered, the floor beneath her shifting, the massive spider taking the opportunity to rush her. Unprepared, the orange haired bunny girl took a painful headbutt to the chest, flying back and rolling across the floor. She moaned, sitting up, the world spinning around her. Her emerald eyes widened as they fell upon her massive foe, the color draining from her face.
“Oh crud!” An intense fear ran through her, her body trembling in terror. The enormous monster rushed towards her (its fangs at the ready), but there wasn’t enough time for her to effectively defend herself from it (not from her current position anyway). Tears formed in her green eyes as she watched what might as well have been death himself coming for her.
