Chapter 22: Eks to the Rescue

Chapter 22: Eks to the Rescue

Viola sat on the stone floor in a mix of shock and relief. Eks stood in front of her, shielding her from what likely would have been her death. The blue haired cat girl wore a cocky (perhaps even sadistic) smirk as she quite literally held the massive spider by the fangs. Rumu (for his part) tried shaking her off to no avail, the clearly stronger than she looked cat girl holding firm.

“What’s wrong, you over sized bug? Thought I’d just let you penetrate my girlfriend with these things?” She tightened her grip, her eyes flashing dangerously.

The massive beast screeched in pain, desperately trying to back away. The woman who had him by the fangs refused to yield though. It had been a long time since Rumu felt afraid, but fear shown in his eyes now (this cat girl terrifying him).

“You know what I think?” Her white tail swished playfully, her face flushing as she heaved. Slowly, she lifted the gigantic spider up (lifted it up by its fangs), its gargantuan body losing contact with the rocky floor. “I think you should take a hike.” With an even more impressive feat of strength, the red eyed cat girl threw the terrified monstrosity, the action flinging the mole queen from its back.

The mole queen flew into the tunnel wall, small cracks spreading from the point of impact as the blond collapsed to the tunnel floor. A moment later, the whole tunnel rumbled as the massive spider touched down, a few small rocks breaking loose from the tunnel ceiling. Using the wall for support, the mole queen wobbled to her feet, her brown eyes unfocused.

“You OK, Vi?” Eks turned her ruby eyes to her girlfriend, a pleasant smile on her face. She reached out, taking the bunny girl’s hand and helping her up.

“Thanks. You really saved me.” A soft blush settled on Viola’s cheeks, the long haired cat girl still holding her hand.

“I’d like to do more than save you.” She tugged her closer and wrapped her arms around the bunny girl, one hand reaching dangerously low. Viola’s blush deepened, her bunny tail twitching, her breaths coming out in cute pants. Eks smirked at the reaction before pressing her lips to her girlfriend’s. Viola went limp in the cat girl’s arms, officially reaching tomato red.

“I think you should get back to the spider though.”

“Spider?” Viola glanced down the tunnel, her emerald eyes widening at the sight of a rather irate looking spider. “Didn’t you defeat it?”

“Nope, but it is pretty banged up now. You can handle it.” The cat girl gave an encouraging thumbs up before walking back to the sidelines.

Still blushing (though not nearly tomato level at this point), Viola watched the attractive cat girl walk away, blushing a bit more furiously when she caught herself looking at her girlfriend’s butt. “What the heck am I thinking?!” The bunny girl picked up her sword and turned to the monstrous spider. “Sure, I would love to do those kinds of things with her, but now is not the time to be thinking of those kinds of things.”

The spider neared, the tunnel rumbling as its massive legs touched down. Its built-in armor still glistened in the various light beams of the many flashlights. Now, though, its armor no longer looked pristine, the beams of light highlighting many dents and scratches as it drew closer.

“I can take this thing!” Viola readied her Stone’s Bane Sword, bracing herself, a confident smile on her face.
