Lukas followed the saleswoman and walked through the store's second floor. Other players were also in the store but completely ignored Lukas' presence.
As a novice player, his presence was almost nonexistent, unlike powerful players who were feared wherever they went because of the pressure they emitted.
"There doesn't seem to be a suitable sword for me here." Lukas held one of the last swords available. It was a sword with a curved blade, but its blade was too long, and the sword was heavy.
It wasn't a suitable sword for him. He wanted to use his speed, so a heavy sword like that was out of the question.
"So you want us to make a sword for you? The price will increase slightly, but it won't be too expensive. It will depend on the chosen material."
"Hmmm..." Lukas thought for a few seconds. "I think a sword made of common iron is good enough for now. I only have $400 to spend; would that be enough?"
"Yes, of course." The saleswoman said with a weak smile. "Materials like iron are affordable for novice and young players like you. The most expensive part will be the blacksmith's work. I can make your new sword for $250; what do you think? Is it a fair price?"
The woman raised her index finger. She had a strong "nerd" vibe.
"$250? That's good." Lukas handed the sword he held to the woman, and she put it away. Then the two returned to the store's first floor and went to one of the counters. The woman took out a thick book and placed it before Lukas.
She began flipping through it, and there were various images of swords. She flipped through it until she reached the middle of the book.
"We have daggers like this one. You can choose one of these and increase the blade size a bit; what do you think?" All the daggers were very beautiful. They all looked like expensive daggers, even though they were cheap.
A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
Lukas was unsure of what he should choose.
He analyzed for some time until he chose one of the last daggers on that huge list.
It was a dagger with a black handle and a blood-red blade. It was made of iron; they probably mixed something in the middle of the iron to give the blade such a striking color.
'It's a perfect dagger for an assassin. The red blood won't stain its blade.'
"Alright. You can return here in three days; your weapon will be ready. You don't need to pay now, you can pay when you come to pick it up."
"Thank you very much."
"No problem. Take care."
Lukas said goodbye to the woman and went home.

Three days had passed, and it was the day when Lukas would pick up his sword. But before going to the store, Lukas used the likes he had earned and bought some more potions.
He had received over 100 likes.
Now it had been a few hours since his video received a like, and the views, which were above 2,000, were slowly increasing. "I have 20 subscribers to my channel."
Lukas was satisfied with that. With the potions, he would be able to earn a bit more money and could buy an armor.
However, now he had no more likes to spend.
He bought ten potions, and each one cost ten likes. In other words, he was broke at the moment.

It was truly frustrating. But as he was starting, he didn't let it bother him. It was great that he achieved that many views and likes on his first video.
With the potions in his backpack, Lukas first went to the store where he had ordered his new sword.
"Good morning; I'm here to pick up a sword I ordered." It was a different saleswoman, so she didn't recognize Lukas.
"What's your name?"
"Lukas."
"Lukas? Ah yes, wait a minute." The woman said after seeing Lukas' name on her computer screen. It was a list of several of they clients and open orders to be completed.
After about 5 minutes, the woman returned with Lukas' sword wrapped in a white cloth. When she placed the sword on the table, Lukas noticed how light the sword was.
The woman removed the cloth and revealed the beautiful sword to Lukas. Or should he call it a dagger?
"Wow," Lukas said with admiration. The blood-red blade was genuinely striking. Even the other players around seemed amazed by the beauty of his new weapon.
Lukas held the sword and swung it. It was light and fit perfectly in his hand. "This is worth $250." Lukas felt completely satisfied with his new blade.
The saleswoman couldn't help but smile at seeing Lukas swinging his sword like a child.
"It was great doing business with you. Come back anytime."
Lukas left the store with the blood-red dagger in his hand because he couldn't find a suitable sheath for his sword. He wanted a sheath as beautiful as his sword.
Lukas knew he shouldn't care about appearances, but he couldn't help but care about it.
With his hood over his head and his blood-red sword/dagger in his right hand, Lukas headed to the store where he had previously sold his potions to sell the new potions he had bought.
Of course, a hooded man walking the streets holding a dagger with a red blade caused a big commotion.
