Lukas was confused.

"Here it is. I thought the system would notify me when I received a new like." Lukas sighed with relief. He thought that the system wasn't working correctly. And after, a notification appeared.
[Would you like to activate notifications? Y/N]
"Oh, of course! How convenient." Lukas activated the system notifications, and soon after, a new notification arrived. [You received a like! +1]
It appeared before his eyes, and his heart raced.
"18 likes. What can I do with this?" Lukas opened the gacha banner but didn't have enough likes yet to use it. Nevertheless, he attempted to activate the gacha.
[Insufficient likes]
[Required balance - 1.000]
He just wanted to find out the necessary value. "So I need a thousand likes? That's a high number for a newbie content creator like me. I'll need to post many videos for that."
Lukas opened his channel again and saw that he had two new subscribers. There was no place in the system that counted the number of subscribers. He was curious if it would affect anything. "Maybe my status will increase depending on the number of subscribers?"

Lukas remembered the notification the system had given him. His rank would rise according to his popularity and engagement. "The number of subscribers has something to do with it. But now, let's take a look at this shop."
With 18 likes -
[You received a new like! +1]
With 19 likes, Lukas had no idea if he could buy anything interesting, but he still looked at the shop.
"Wow, they have everything in this place." On the store's homepage, some weapons appeared. Swords, spears, bows, and giant hammers. All of them had exorbitantly high prices.
The most expensive sword cost millions of likes. Its design was beautiful and imposing. Wielding that sword could change his life significantly. But it would take a long time.
"I want cheaper things."

In addition, there were potions for agility boost, magic defense increases, etc. They were all low-level: Rank E. Lukas was interested in the potions because of their prices.
"Potions of this level can cost up to 100 dollars depending on where you buy them." The quantity is quite limited since potions can only be found inside dungeons or made by players with the [Alchemist] class.
It was incredible that he had the opportunity to get something like that for just 10 Likes from a video he posted on YouMedia.
"But right now, I need a weapon." Lukas opened the list of weapons and organized them from the lowest value to the highest. But it didn't go as he expected.
"Damn."

"Now I have 20 likes, but it's still far from enough." Lukas sighed and started thinking about what he should do. He needed a weapon, even if it was a low-level one.
He worked part-time, but he didn't save his money and didn't have enough to buy one.
After a few minutes, a bright idea struck Lukas.
[You received a new like! +1]
"That's it, perfect. I'll do this."
[You bought a low-level Healing Potion! -10 Likes]
[You bought a low-level Strength Boost Potion! -10 Likes]
He spent 20 likes.

Luckily, the notifications kept coming.

As it was already late afternoon and nightfall was approaching, Lukas decided to continue his plan tomorrow. He went downstairs and into the living room, where he turned on the television to watch a series.
His sister came down the stairs shortly after.
"What are you watching?"
"Game of Thrones."
"That series ended years ago, didn't it? Why are you watching it now? And the ending is really bad, you know?"
"I'll watch it until the end and draw my own conclusions."
Lukas's sister sat down next to him on the couch, and a few minutes later, she laid down and put her head on his lap. "I'm hungry," she said in a cute voice. She always acted like this when she wanted to be spoiled.
"I don't have any money, I can't order food for you."
"Tsk."
"You came down here just to ask me to buy food? There's food in the kitchen, you know?"
"But I wanted to eat pizza!"
"You'll get fat if you keep eating pizza every week."
"You're eating hamburgers almost every day!"
"But I work out daily, so I can eat that kind of thing frequently. You spend the whole day at home and only move your body when you have to go to school! You don't even go out with your friends!"
"Tsk."
"Hey, come back here! Don't run away."
And Lukas's sister ran upstairs and hid in her room.
Lukas sighed and then smiled.
"What an idiot." Then he picked up his phone and opened the app to order a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese.
