Lukas had to seize this opportunity. If he recorded a video humiliating this man, he would probably get some views on YouMedia. Usually, people love this kind of video.
Once in a while, videos like these would appear in the [Top 100] of the website. However, the videos were usually recorded inside dungeons or in street fights. Fights inside an association building were rare cases.
"What is this? Who do you think you are?" The man, noticing Lukas' piercing gaze, rolled his eyes and brought his face closer to his. Lukas smelled an unpleasant odor, and without thinking, with a quick movement, he punched the man.
A precise punch came from below, hitting the man's chin.
The man's eyes turned white instantly, and a strange sound came from his jaw. He let out a final groan before losing consciousness. It was so easy that Lukas was speechless.
His hand was slightly sore since he had used all his strength, but he didn't mind.
"Darling! What have you done, you monster!" The woman who was outside the building rushed in, desperate. She knelt beside the unconscious man with blood on his face.
"What happened here?!" Then, a new character appeared. He was a tall man in a suit and glasses. Lukas noticed he was an association employee and told the man what had happened.
"So that's what happened. I apologize for the trouble. Every day, idiots like him show up." The man clicked his tongue as he looked at the man on the floor. "Hey, you, take him out of here and also throw this woman onto the street."
"What? You can't do that! Hey! Let me go, you idiots, jerks! I'll kill you!" The woman struggled in the arms of the men as she was dragged outside.
"I apologize again for the incident. My name is Elis Meyer; what's yours?"
If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
"Lukas, my name is Lukas."
"Lukas..." Elis analyzed Lukas from head to toe. "You emanate a strange aura; I can't quite understand it." Elis' eyes shone in a strange blue color.
'Appraisal.' Lukas thought.
The appraisal was difficult to acquire, but many high-ranking players possessed it. Appraisal ability wouldn't show the class and abilities, but you could get some sense of your opponent's strength.
"Your status is ordinary, but your aura is powerful. That's strange." Elis seemed intrigued but quickly averted his gaze when he was called by one of the association receptionists. "Can we talk later?"
"Hm? Why? I'm in a hurry; I don't think I can do that now."
"It's a shame, but come to the association when you can talk." Elis handed Lukas a card with a seal on it.
"When you want to talk to me, just hand this to one of the receptionists." Elis was quite intrigued by Lukas' strange aura and his earlier move.
'He's very young, but his movement was fast and precise. He could become an incredible player in the future, which excites me.'
Lukas took a deep breath after Elis walked away. He looked around, noticed many eyes on him, and heard some murmurs, but he ignored them all. The boy who was right in front of him in line was trembling.
'Damn, I did all that, and the video is so short.' Lukas finished the recording right after the guards took the man and the woman out of the building. 'Should I post this? The video is less than four minutes long.'
Lukas decided to think about it later.
Lukas waited one hour to be attended to. And when he was attended to, it seemed like everyone had already forgotten what he had done.
"Would you like to register? Please fill out this form, and then we'll do your evaluation." The receptionist handed Lukas a piece of paper and a pen with a smile on her face.
A fake smile. Lukas could see how much she hated this job.
"Name, age, date of birth, document (SSN), and class." Lukas felt reluctant to hand over all his data to the association, but it was necessary. But it's always good to be a little cautious.
After filling out the form and handing it back to the receptionist, she brought a device and placed it on the counter. "Alright, put your hand in here. After that, your rank will be shown on this small screen."
It was a square device with a hole for Lukas to put his hand in and a digital screen. Without thinking, Lukas put his hand into the hole and felt something wrapping around his hand.
After that, he felt tiny needles piercing his hand, a somewhat uncomfortable pain.
"Alright, you can remove it now." Lukas took out his hand, and some information was displayed on the small screen on top of the device.
[Level] 1
[Strength] F
[Endurance] D
[Agility] E
[Magic] G
"Alright, Player rank E, Swordsman class. Everything looks good." The receptionist smiled and prepared to create Lukas' identification card.
After a few more minutes of waiting, Lukas received his card. It didn't have a photo of him, just his name, class, and rank. "That's good; a photo could cause problems."
He didn't want his family to find out about this, so not having his photo on his identification card was good. It still had his name, but he could deceive them somehow.
"I'll find a place to sit and edit that video."
It wouldn't make sense for him to go to his course, so he would edit his video. He would analyze it after it was done to decide if he should publish it.
