When Lukas opened his eyes, he looked out the bedroom window, still sleepy. It was already night. "Damn it!" Quite nervous, he got out of bed and put on his torn and dirty clothes again.
He no longer cared about coming home wearing those clothes.
However, he at least remembered to wash his dagger and sword after picking them up at the reception. He didn't want to get all the things inside his backpack dirty. And after this, he ran through the dark streets toward his house.
It didn't take him long to get there.
"Damn, it's cold. And what am I going to tell my mom and dad?" Nervous, Lukas opened the front door to his house, which was normally left open until everyone was home.
"..." The door opened slowly without making any sound. The light in the living room was on. However, there was no one there. Lukas sighed with relief, but after, he heard someone coughing beside him as he closed the door.
His mother, who was in the kitchen, appeared. She looked at him with a serious gaze, searching for answers.
She didn't even seem concerned about the blood on Lukas' clothes.
"I can explain."
"It's already 1 a.m! You better have a good explanation!" His mother said angrily, waking Lukas' father and also his sister. However, his father returned to sleep, unlike his sister, who left her room and walked slowly to the stairs to listen to everything.
"I had a little accident. I went to the hospital."
"An accident?"
"Yes, I was run over..." Lukas gave a smile. His mother knew he was lying but still decided to let it go. She began to touch Lukas' arms.
His sweatshirt was all torn and stained red and also green. It was the goblins' blood.
"All right, go change your clothes and take a shower. You stink."

"I'm sorry."
"It's all right. But tomorrow, you will have to deal with your father alone, understand?"
"..."
Lukas went upstairs and found his sister looking at him with concern.
"I'm fine; you can go back to sleep." Lukas messed up her hair.
"You stink."
His sister ran back to her room. He gave a weak smile and then went to his room. He got a new set of clothes and went into his bathroom. His dirty clothes were put in a bag to be thrown away tomorrow.
After he had taken a shower and was wearing clean clothes, Lukas lay down on his bed.
He heard his mother's footsteps, and then the light in the second-floor corridor went out. After that, everything was silent.
Lukas then opened his Status.

"And the notifications still keep coming. I wonder what end it all took. Did they manage to kill that tiger?" Lukas was still tired and forgot to search about the incident.
When he woke up the next day, he was startled by what he saw in the news in the morning while having breakfast with his family.

The news was being shown on every television channel and website.
[ Group disappeared in a famous dungeon ]
Shortly after Lukas left the dungeon and went to the hotel, the dungeon called [ Dying Goblins ] closed and disappeared. And no one who was inside had come out.
Elis and his group had been swallowed by the dungeon and given up for dead.
When the dungeon closed, the reporters on the scene recorded terrifying and heartbreaking videos. Everyone could only watch as the dungeon disappeared in front of their eyes.
At first, everyone thought that the dungeon had been completed because of the changing color of the portal, but the next instant, lightning started to be thrown toward people and caused a commotion.
The portal gradually decreased in size until it disappeared.
The video was circulating everywhere—several videos.
Lukas woke up the following day and could no longer eat after seeing one of the videos. He wondered what would have happened to him if he had stayed inside the dungeon for a few more hours.
He would have been swallowed and killed along with all those people.
"Lukas, what happened?" Clara, who noticed her brother's nervousness, asked.
"You are very restless. Stop kicking my legs." Lukas' mother complained.
However, he remained silent as he stared at the television. The pictures of Elis, Klaus, Falcon, and Yuri were shown. He remembered all those people.
He felt bad for them.
'Damn. That dungeon turned into something unbelievable. And it was only a Rank G dungeon.' Lukas wondered if he had something to do with all this. Why did the dungeon decide to change right after he became a Player?
But this could be an unfortunate coincidence. There was no way this had anything to do with him.
'Right?' Lukas took one last bite of his bread before leaving the house with his sister. She was going to school, and Lukas decided to accompany her today because he had a bad feeling.
It was probably because of what happened with that dungeon. He was just being overprotective.
"What's gotten into you today?" she asked.
"It's nothing; I just wanted to keep up with my little sister."
"Urgh, you're giving me the chills." Carla hurried her steps, and Lukas could keep up with her pace smoothly.
When the two arrived at the entrance to Carla's school, Lukas waved to her, and she walked in. The teacher at the entrance greeted Lukas, and he turned to leave. However, before he could leave, a scream could be heard.
AAAAHHH~~
It was the scream of a little girl coming from inside the school.
Followed by that scream, several screams could be heard.
Lukas removed his mask and two weapons from his backpack.
'I knew something would happen.'
