It was a character he had never seen before, and his/her appearance was strange. "Is the system kidding me? I refuse to use a character like that." The character, besides being ugly, had terrible statistics.
Lukas was pretty sure she/he wasn't a fighter and would be useless if he could use she/he to fight.

Lukas looked at the stats board and character picture for a while longer. Her/his face gave him chills. "Below her name… or his… it says that she or he is part of an anime called Magi."
Lukas searched his mind and remembered this anime.
"I'm sure the character isn't even relevant to the story. Okay, let's continue."
The number of Likes at the moment was already above 8 thousand. He could use the gacha eight more times to get something better. And that's what he did. Could he buy better skills? He could, but he knew it wouldn't be enough.
Skills that could change his situation cost at least 100k likes. It was impossible for him. So spending a thousand likes and having the chance to get something extraordinary is the best for now.
So he used the gacha once more.
A screen appeared in front of his eyes again. Cards began to be placed on the "table," and their colors were shown. Like last time, nothing interesting came.

Not even a character.
The silver card gave Lukas a considerable number of Likes.
"System, what are the chances of me drawing a gold card? I presume the best things come in golden cards."
[ Golden cards have a 0.4% chance of appearing. Cards with the color of a rainbow have a chance of 0.1% ]
"A rainbow-colored card? These are the cards that will get me the best stuff. But 0.1%? Isn't that unfair? You're taking this gacha thing a little too seriously."
Of course, the system didn't say anything to him.
"Okay, the third time." Lukas used a thousand more likes but didn't get anything again. And so it went on for some time. Likes, low-rank items, nothing good is showing.
Until the last 'pull' arrived.
Lukas continued to get likes but at a slow rate. Even so, it was enough for him to use the gacha ten times. Now, it would be the 11th time. He had 1.300 likes so it would be the last time.
"I don't even know where I will put all this." The likes didn't matter because they went to his system. The big problem was the items he won in the gacha. They were all on the ground, and Lukas didn't know how he would get them out of there.
He would probably take the best stuff.
"All good. Use the gacha one more time, system."
1.000 were deducted, and the gacha was activated. A screen popped up, and some colorless cards appeared. Then, they began to be placed on the imaginary table and began to change color. The first, the second, and the third were all bronze in color.
The fourth and fifth were silver in color. Lukas had already given up on everything when the sixth card came in a different color.
"It's golden!!!!!" It was a bright, eye-catching card, golden as a nugget of gold. Some light particles floated around the card to make it even more beautiful in Lukas' eyes. However, he did not turn the card over.
He waited for all the cards to be placed.
And then something amazing happened. Something that hurt Lukas' eyes because of its multicolored glow.
"THIS PULL IS BLESSED! I CAN GET ADDICTED TO THIS!"
And so, Lukas became a gacha addict.
#####
He had gotten two incredible cards. One gold and one that glowed a rainbow color. The rainbow card was beautiful. Various colors swirled around the card, and many particles of different colors were thrown into the air.
That emphasized how legendary that card was.
"But isn't that very lucky? A gold card and a legendary on the same pull?" Lukas was excited. He discarded all the bronze and silver-colored cards, leaving only the two most important cards.
"At least they got me a good number of likes." The silver-colored cards had Lukas reaching 3.000 likes again. That is, he could use the gacha three more times if necessary.
"Now, let's see the gold card." Lukas's eyes gleamed through the holes in his mask. His excitement was such that he had even forgotten to stop recording.
He would have to cut all that out of the video because he didn't want to show it to anyone. Even though the gacha and the system screen don't appear in the recording, he didn't want to show any of that.
"Right, the golden card…."
Lukas turned it around slowly.
AND…
Another disappointment.
He hadn't received a character but an item. It was a sword he would not use, despite being very powerful. It was a two-handed sword, a giant sword!
Its hilt was silver, and its blade white with some details in gold, like a holy blade.

It was wild. An attack power that rivaled the best swords currently in this world. Just looking at that sword made Lukas shiver.
"That will cut a person in half with ease." Lukas began to regret using a combat style that used his speed.
