Mason read through the message for a moment, before accepting it. He had learned one thing, and that was that Survival quests were never to be ignored.
Allowing the skinny looking man to ‘heal’ him with some sort of mana poison, Mason waited until it was over and looked at the first notification.
Reading through it, he agreed and sold the poison to Jack. For him, it was basically free treatment for poison and free exp for doing literally nothing.
With that done, and the carts checked, the people were allowed to enter Ferdin.
On the other hand, Jack happily received the poison.
Although he was a god, he had technically just been born, and although he could see through most things with his vision, he could not replicate it just by looking at something. Instead, he would need to study it. However, he could not study it while keeping watch over his players.
Looking back at the rate at which Heron was killing off monsters and collecting exp for him, Jack was pretty sure he would reach level 5 in no time, which would give him a shit-tonne of exp.
Therefore, Jack went to the “Wishlist” part of his CP shop. While his players were doing more or less nothing, he had spent some time going through the CP shop, and since he was a god, his speed was rather fast. By now, if he had been browsing through every single item ever bought by or sold by amazon, he would have gone through it a thousand times already. And yet, he had only gone through 0.234 % of the entire CP shop according to the progress bar.
However, he had already det his eyes on certain things for when he received enough CP.
He quickly looked through it and found it a few items above the cheapest items on his wish list.

Without hesitation, Luke clicked on the purchase button, and suddenly remembered the impulse buying he used to do back when he was human.

Spare Processing Unit (SPU)
This is a unit with the capabilities to process information at nearly the same speed as an inferior god such as yourself. It can be changed in appearance, and does not cost CP to maintain. This item will establish a connection with you upon purchase, and can send information to you through that channel if required. This channel can also be used as a more efficient method of converting exp to CP when the item is placed within the mortal world, with the rate changing to 80 exp = 1 CP, from the initial 100 exp = 1 CP.
==============
Jack looked at the information he had read multiple times already and grinned widely. HE had already spent all his CP on this singular item, even taking some from the banks of Mason and Alice. He decided to return it later.
Instead of focussing on his debt, he turned his attention to his latest purchase.
The reason for buying this item was mainly its exchange rate capabilities. Although 20 exp might not seem like a lot, imagine what would happen when some of his players reached a high level like 40 or even 50? How much ex would he gain, especially since he had planned the system to increase its exp require to level up every 5 levels.
Anyway, there was a more cost-efficient way to achieve this conversion ratio, however this item had more functions, including it being a spare brain for himself, and an AI.
Since it had a chinking ability, Jack intended to make it a sort of half-sentient creature, linked to himself so that he could assume control whenever he wished.
Furthermore, since he could change the SPU’s appearance, why not make it a human? And why not make it the ‘pope’ of his church? Now all he needed to do was to find someone of power within some literal god-forsaken nation, and insert his pope, and religion there.
And the best part about sending his SPU down to the prime plane? The SPU could handle most missions, levelling and other activities, while he just had to sit back, relax, and fix certain issues which the SPU could not handle. Furthermore, the SPU could also buy things required for the players since it was connected to Jack, which left Jack free to plan for the future and save more desperate people.
‘But first, the person of power in a god-forsaken nation…’ Jack thought to himself, as he began to scour the places, he could look at through all the divinity blocking most of the nations and their cities, while holding the ball of light called the SPU next to him.
Any god looking at him at this moment would think, ‘This inferior god cannot even form a true body for himself’. But no one could since he was still in the cage created by ‘That man’.
