Within a few hours, the group managed to leave the capital unharmed. Naturally, they had to use the sewers as their route of escape, since all the main gates and secret passages were already manned with enemies.
Naturally, even the sewers had enemies, however, getting rid of 20 enemies underground was far easier than getting rid of 50 people, possibly more above ground.
Covered in a not-so-insignificant amount of human waste, the group exited the sewers, and found themselves near a river.
“Thankfully, the kingdom had recently made changes to the ever-expanding city and replanned the sewers into rivers to reduce the work needed by the waste disposal department of the capital.” The king sighed in relief as he remembered a report, he had so casually signed helped him this much.
After washing up the gang needed new clothes, but everyone’s clothes were drenched in human waste.
Deciding to ditch the clothes, Mason question,
“Can I buy some clothes?” while looking into the air.
“From wh-” Wint was just about to retort when clothed appeared out of nowhere in Mason’s hands.
“Tch. Used up 60 exp! You guys better give me back my half a level later on!” Mason turned to the group of naked men and growled as he threw them their clothes, which somehow fit everyone present to some extent. He had asked on the trade platform for normal clothes, and someone sent him this within moments of him asking. Exp was a precious commodity after all!

“Alright. Although the original plan of getting a cart and busting out of the capital failed, we still got out. Now all we need to do is get to the location The God of War specified. Only problem is…”
“He only told us to go east…” continued Desmon, who also received the system, and had got over the shock of his sister, Alice being alive.
“Well, not that we can do much about it. I suggest we follow the gods’ instructions.” Wint asked.
“Anything it fine” Grunted Tamara.
“We will also have to clean up our tracks while moving to reduce the chances of being caught.” Said Don in his rather soft voice.
“Alright then! Let’s get moving. Don, try and use your magic, to cover the footprints and broken branches. Tamara, stay in the front, but try your best not to crush too many branches. The rest stay in the middle, and try to only step in each other’s footsteps, to reduce the work on Don.”
The group slowly made their way through the forest while trying to keep their presences hidden as much as possible, and a day of travelling passed by.
“So? Are you going to send someone to pick them up? Or are they going to teleport the rest of the distance?” Jack asked the tiny ball of divinity left outside the cage as a means of communication between Ares ad Jack.
“Neither”
Just as Ares spoke, the group passed through some sort of barrier, which cut off the view Jack had. Shocked, Jack entered through Mason and the other peoples’ visions, noticing the astonishment on their faces as well.
In front of them was a cathedral nearly 200 meters tall! A sight to worship.
Suddenly, several cloaked figures appeared before the group, and disappeared within a flash.
However, all those with systems was completely horrified. Above their head were some truly disturbing words.
[Battle Droid-Human] [Lv ??] [Very dangerous. Just run if you can.]
And these words were written in bright red, as though one could see the blood dripping from the names.
However, a normal human with words that were strangely leaning towards green.
“Welcome! Thank fully you made it safely! Welcome to the First Church of Ares.”
